“Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. About: I have been a in-home pet sitter for the past six years for a medium size dog who had special needs as a puppy. I also am a pet photographer and have done pet portraits and holiday cards! I recently lost my beloved dog Zoey, who I had for over 12 years. I love dogs deeply, and welcome them into my home. About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for my family and friends for several years. I have a 1 year old male shih Tzu of my own . He loves to play and be stimulated and go on fun walks. I work in a school , and have summers, weekends and next year off work to do drop- in visits in your home :) or dog walking , (or small dogs only boarding in my home ) . I will not be taking big dogs in my home, because my small dog is 3 years old . I have a small fenced patio for the dogs to get fresh air and play. About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I also have 2 dogs of my own and they is just the best thing that happened to me honestly and that’s why I’m working for this company because I’ve found something that I could work for and love doing what I do at the same time. I treat every dog like they’re mine! Every dog that has been to my house they are treated like our family, care for every one of them. I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there, she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that, I am very free! Other than that, they will be taken great care of by me. In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for daily exercise. I also love to walk so if your dog also loves to, we will definitely be a great match! I have two dogs of my own that’ll keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 6 years old and the other one is 5 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. Your baby will be happy & safe here!

About: Growing up we always had dogs and cats. I spent a lot of time with relatives who had more “exotic” pets ranging from degus to a Mali Uromastyx lizard not to mention the short-tailed opossum and various other small mammals. All this has contributed to making me an animal lover totally comfortable around them all! While still in high school I had the privilege of volunteering at a local wildlife refuge where I was responsible for the care of a wide variety of animals ranging from squirrels to owls and even foxes! During college I spent a summer working at a doggie day care center where I was responsible for both walking the dogs and supervising indoor play time. More recently I have been dog sitting both at my home as well as house sitting for families with pets and am eagerly looking forward to expanding this aspect of my work using this Rover app. Since I am currently taking online courses, I am very flexible and available. About: I grew up in a house with 3 dogs and have never known life with an empty house! I’ve been formally dog sitting for friends, family and clients since 2018 in my house on Long Island as well as in their apartments in Manhattan and Brooklyn. I was previously the assistant manager of a local dog day care and while some dogs do well in a boarding facility, I know how important it is for them to feel comfortable and stress free, and that can be in their home or mine! With over 20 repeat and regular clients who my relationship with them and their dogs spans across years, I have many referrals that can speak to my high level of care and love. I also am honored to have experience with senior aged dogs and those with medical conditions requiring medicine or special care and am happy and comfortable to provide it. Be prepared to receive a million picture and video updates from me of how we’re spending our days together so you don’t have to worry or wonder, and can enjoy your vacation as stress free as possible. Especially if you’re away during a holiday or even their birthday, we always celebrate with special treats, toys and activities so nothing is ever missed. When your pet is in my care, they become a member of my family and are treated as such! I work full time remotely from the comfort of my house, which allows me to spend all my time on the couch with the dogs I’m sitting for and take them to play in the backyard or for a walk whenever we want. I am able to accommodate and be flexible with bathroom and feeding schedules as necessary. I have a very large, fenced in backyard with grass and concrete that dogs are able to enjoy. I also have a doggy door if they are trained that they can access the backyard whenever they would like/need to potty (can also be locked shut!). I am happy to follow any specific care instructions no matter how unique or strange you might think they are, I’ve heard it all and love learning every dogs personality and quirks that make them who they are. The dogs I sit for are just like my own pets, they are welcome and encouraged to join me on furniture, to sleep in bed with me or can be crated if preferred and one is provided (although I certainly prefer cuddling with them if allowed!).
