“I had a last minute emergency of not having someone to watch kylo while i went away. after constant searching my boyfriend recommended i try Rover and i found Jennifer . She was accommodating, sweet and attentive from the first meet. i was a bit nervous as a first time user for the app and i’ve never had anyone who wasn’t family take care of kylo, but she’s trustworthy and always sent updates on Kylo and how he was doing and he was settling in very easily. her environment was something i loved for kylo to be around, she was always around with kylo and gave him constant attention, cuddles, and her dog Sadie, was just as energetic as him. i’m glad he wasn’t alone and it definitely eased my mind to know he was in a safe environment surrounded by people and other pet friends. my encounter with her was so smooth and last minute but i’m glad she took Kylo in and treated him like her own. if you’re unsure of leaving your pet with someone i 100000% recommend her ! i know kylo had a blast with her and i would definitely love for her to watch kylo for future because of how happy he was and i was knowing he was cared for”

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life, I have three at home. I have also raised 8 puppies that went to loving families. Neighbors and friends trust me to walk them often. I am able to walk and get in an exercise while walking the animals I love and enjoying the outdoors. I do have a 9-5 but would love a morning, afternoon, or even lunch break drop-in or walk. I have housed other dogs and my young retriever loves all animals no matter the size. I also have pet friendly turf and grass in the back yard. In clients homes I respect their property and only need to touch what is asked, such as food, what the client asks of me.

About: I've always been such a huge animal lover and always took care of my own cats, dogs, guinea pigs and birds. I used to watch my family members pets when they would go away and feed them per special instructions and stayed with them as long as I could so they were never lonely. “We had to get work done to our house and or dog couldn't be home during the day. I looked at other options and they just didn't fit what we needed. We'd have to take off some hours from work as the construction was done on our house. I hopped onto Rover and quickly found Ashley. The rates were affordable and her profile really stood out as someone who cares about pets. We consider our dog, Amber, one of our children. Ashley was amazing with pick up and drop off. Always on time which was great because we wanted Amber to be picked up before the workers got there. When we got home from work Ashley would drop her off. My dog gets anxious easily and that, in turn, made me anxious about her being with someone she didn't know in a place she had never been. But Ashley was reassuring and great with her, even in the car ride which Amber usually despises. Ashley sent pictures and updates of Amber relaxing and being happy each day. Highly recommended. I am an excellent coordinator! In my calendar, on my phone alarm, and in my heart, everytime. I am a homeschool mother of 2 boys. We start dog care at 7AM, feeding/potties, rest for 30 mins, back out for potties, pics and playtime for 30 mins, hydrate,30 mins later potty, & rotating sleep to play throughout day every 3.5 hrs Puppies and geriatrics 15 mins/ every 2 hrs We love hosting pets and consider it a family business. My children love it and we respect the opportunity and strive to gain relationships with local community members. I am a homeowner with a full femce and a double gate system. I rotate packs or 1:1 for playtime/potty time. I have 2 sweet medium sized dogs. Both are crate trained and excellent demeanors. I work from home only caring for the dogs. There are no other jobs to interfere. My children are 10 & 11 years old, are homeschooled, & young employees that love pups. I have crates, bowls, fencing and great knowledge of a canine decompression activities, integrative play specialist, dog trainer, & and a pup host with 5 years full time experience.
“From the moment we dropped Nessa off until the time we picked her up, we were pleasantly surprised by how completely at home she felt with Marla. Normally, Nessa is very apprehensive when meeting new people, new animals, or even visiting a new place. But from the moment Marla opened the door, our normally shy and hesitant little girl ran right into the house to greet Marla and all of her pets. To say my husband and I were shocked would be an understatement! Watching Nessa happily run off to play filled this mom and dad with so much joy. While we were attending our niece’s wedding, we kept checking our phones, fully expecting a call or text saying Nessa was crying or looking for us. That message never came—because she was apparently having the time of her life! When we returned to pick her up, Nessa was excited to show us all of her new friends. It was obvious she had been well cared for and truly enjoyed her stay. We could tell that Marla treated Nessa as if she were one of her own, and there is no greater compliment we could give. We only wish Marla lived in Connecticut instead of New York. Finding someone who genuinely loves and cares for your pet as though they were part of their own family is incredibly rare, and we would trust her with Nessa again in a heartbeat.”

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs (and other animals!) for many years. Family, friends, and co-workers have relied on me to watch and care for their pets whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, even taking them to the vet. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, from senior bull mastiffs to pugs under a year old. There is no dog too big or too small because they’re all perfect to me. I’ve also found lost dogs and helped them return to their owners! I have experience caring for anxious dogs, blind dogs, deaf dogs, dogs with mobility issues, and dogs that require medication. Other animals I’ve taken care of include: cats, parrots, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, and hamsters. Pets are so precious, they’re such an important source of joy in their family’s lives so it’s such a privilege to be trusted with their care!! :) Pet sitting is currently my full time job, so I have lots of time to give your animals the special care and attention they deserve! I have a fenced in yard which is perfect for dogs to run around in. I also have a car so I’m able to take dogs to the dog park or dog beaches nearby (if that’s something they would enjoy). Between the two of us, someone is almost always home, so dogs are rarely left alone for more than two hours. Because I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time, each guest receives plenty of individualized attention, playtime, affection, and care throughout the day. My home is quiet, fully fenced, and designed to help dogs feel safe and comfortable. There are no children or resident pets, allowing me to provide a calm environment and plenty of one-on-one attention. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, have clean dog beds throughout the house, and can even sleep with us if that’s what they’re used to at home. I send daily photo and video updates, and you’re always welcome to message me anytime. Several veterinary hospitals and clinics are within a 5-minute drive if veterinary care is ever needed.
About: For the majority of my life, I have always had a dog in my possession! So I have always known how far my love and care for animals goes. I have watched my family’s dogs when they went on vacation and I’ve also walked a couple of dogs in my neighborhood. Now, my love and care for animals goes beyond measure.
