“She is truly amazing. She instantly made me feel at ease leaving our baby. Very communicative, daily updates with photos and videos. She goes above and beyond. Our baby suffers from allergies, and she was great with keeping up medications and updates on symptoms. It was his first birthday not at home with us, and she went out of her way to ensure his day was special and got him special birthday treats. She made him feel comfortable, very loving and truly caring. I can tell she has a big heart, and really has a love for animals, I saw she really cared. It was so nice to see, she eased my mind, especially as I tend to over worry about him, and he was very happy with her as so were we. We would DEFINITELY rebook. I cannot thank her enough for her care, love, attentiveness she had for our baby Guinness.”

“This is the second time we leave our pup with Daniel and he's officially our go-to sitter. He and his wife give and show much care and the communication/business side of things always runs smooth. Thanks again Daniel! Till the next time 👋”

“Cindy was the best! Would highly recommend. We were in a tight because our son's surgery was rescheduled for earlier than expected and she agreed to watch our dog Remy very last minute. She was thorough in understanding his feeding/sleeping/bathroom needs and sent pics of him during his stay! She was easy to reach at all times and responded very quickly. She took him out for walks and played with him indoors when the weather got bad. We are grateful for such a caring thorough sitter and will definitely be reaching out to her to watch our Remy again. Thank you, Cindy!!!!!”

“Sandra was great with my Zeus. She kept me informed of his actions and took care of him while I was away. My dog is anxious, so it meant a lot that she cared and connected with him. I will use her services again.”

“Megen took great care of our dog Lotta. She has a fenced in backyard which was great so our dog was outside a lot and played with the other dogs there. Easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!”

“Julia did a wonderful job taking excellent care of Sunny while we went out of town! Knowing he was with her allowed us to really enjoy our vacation. She sent us pictures and videos each day, which we greatly appreciated! I highly recommend her! Thank you, Julia!”

“Left my dog with Carla for 4 days and I can't complain. My dog was fine even though it's very shy and scared of other people. I would leave my dog with Carla again if I need to.”

“When I take my dogs to the vet or groomers, they know within a mile where we're headed and they start crying. I have to practically pull them out the vehicle to go inside. When I'm taking them to Jane's, they know where we're headed with a mile and they start going nuts! They cannot wait to get out the vehicle and will pull my arm off trying to get in her house. They absolutely love being there and that, to me, is comfort beyond words.”
About: I've been caring for dogs since middle school, including over 12 years of hands-on experience caring for my own dog, Aubrey. I've also had family, friends, and neighbors rely on me to walk, feed, groom, and care for their pets. Over the years, I've gained experience with dogs of many sizes, breeds, and personalities, including Golden Retrievers, mixed breeds, Yorkshire Terriers, hounds, Chihuahuas, and Corgis. I especially enjoy caring for senior pets and making sure they receive the patience, attention, and affection they deserve. I like spending quality time with them, grooming them, observing their behavior and how they're doing, and making sure they're comfortable and cared for. I've also expanded my experience through volunteer work with Rockland Orange Furrever Homes and the Hudson Valley SPCA, where I've worked with shelter animals and gained additional experience observing animal behavior and providing hands-on care. Whether your pet needs a good walk, a meal, some grooming, companionship, or simply someone who will give them plenty of love and attention, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I currently have a flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I enjoy making time for walks, play, grooming, companionship, and simply getting to know each pet's personality and routine. I'm able to be flexible with my availability and want every pet in my care to feel comfortable, safe, and loved. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure doors, gates, and other exits are secure, provide fresh water and meals according to the owner's instructions, and give pets plenty of attention and exercise. I also pay close attention to their behavior and overall condition so I can recognize anything unusual and communicate concerns to their owner. During walks, I use safe handling practices and stay aware of the pet's surroundings, other animals, and potential hazards. I want every pet to feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away.
“Amy not only came through on very short notice, she was kind, professional and accommodating. Tango - who had only been sat by family members prior to this - immediately felt comfortable and welcome. He had a ball, was well cared for and even got a bath and nail trim for an extremely reasonable additional charge. Amy is close to the retreat we were on, which was part of the reason why we chose her, but I would seriously consider making the 2-hour trip to her if Tango needed sitting again, regardless of her proximity to where I was going.”

“David took great care of Tully and she came home happy and tuckered out from her weekend vacation. He was very responsive with communication and took her on short notice after my previously booked sitter canceled.”

“Maria takes such great care of our little Cardamom (Cardi). We are so happy to have found her. She is easy to communicate with and clearly loves animals. Someone is always home which is particularly great for Cardi because she gets anxious when she's alone. Thank you, Maria, for all that you do!!”

“Isabell was amazing with our two dogs. She made sure to send us pictures and videos of the dogs everyday. Seemed like they were having too much fun in the yard. One of our dog is a bit of challenge and she made sure to take care of him. We will be definitely using her services again.”

“Annie is great. I had to do a quick trip and leave my dog with her for a week. I have a stubborn Shiba Inu and she was great with her. She took her time to understand her. She was always updating me throughout her stay. Definitely recommend her.”

“Mallory is extremely loving to our pets and has put us at ease with leaving our senior dog and senior cat in the care of someone other than family. This allows my pets to stay in the comfort of there own and reduces so much stress on them. She is friendly and trustworthy and we are so happy we found her here!”

“Vicky is an excellent pet sitter. She let us know about changes in our pet’s behavior. She is great about keeping things neat and following special feeding instructions. Plus I think our cat 🐈 loves her.”

About: I take pride in my work and strive to treat each and every animal I care for as I would my own personal pets. I personally understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your furry family members and do my best to make the experience as amazing as possible for both pets and pet parents. I have worked in the pet care industry for over ten years now. I began dog walking in NYC, then managed a luxury boarding/daycare facility for dogs in East Syracuse. Since then I have also branched out into working in animal rescue as well. I also am currently pursuing a certification in dog training. I currently work for myself so my hours are flexible. I can accommodate dog walking most mornings, afternoons and nights. I currently offer in home boarding but limit it to three dogs per night to ensure the best quality of care. I understand that allowing someone into your home to care for your pet can be nerve racking, so I strive to be as mindful of this as possible. Some of the ways I ensure I do this are by speaking with the client before hand to go over anything specific they need done, entering the home in a safe and respectful manner, greeting the pet I'm caring for with enthusiasm, creating a bond with them & making the experience as fun and stress free as possible.
“It was our first time using rover so we didn’t know what to expect but we couldn’t have been happier! Julia is fantastic! We will be using her whenever she’s available.”

“Nicole did a great job looking after our cat, Warren! She was responsive and sent plenty of pictures. We always get nervous leaving him alone for extended periods of time. But having her visit him gave us peace of mind. Would highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for pet care in the greenwood lake area!”

“I was very happy with my overall experience with Rover. It was easy to set up and choose someone to care for my 2 cats when I was out of town. Nancy was great! She came when she said she would and gave me updates at each visit. When I came home, the house was so calm and peaceful. The cats were safe, fed and happy. I would definitely recommend Nancy and will use her again in the future. Thanks! :) Rose G.”

“Bridget was wonderful to that my pets were fed and even went out of her way to search my apartment to find my binding cat. Highly recommend her. She is truly a professional in her field will definitely use her again thanks Bridget for your service.”

About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all sorts of animals around. I have had many dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, rabbits, rats, and horses over the years. I have a degree in Equestrian Science and have taken care of animals my entire adult life. I have always been an avid hiker as well and love to take the pups on walks around the area. I currently own 3 dogs, a parrot, and 2 chickens and will give your animals the same love and attention that I give my own! I'm currently working part time and so have plenty of time to play with your fur babies. I am currently available for house sitting, drop in visits and dog walking. If your dogs get along with mine I might be able to do boarding as well. I have a dog door at my house with a fenced in yard along with 5 acres of fields to walk in. When coming to your home, I use my deep knowlege of dogs, cats, and other animals to keep your animals happy in their own home where your pets are MOST comfortable. They have the comfort of knowing they are safe in a place where they can learn to trust me and we can develop a bond so I can give your pets the same level of love and care as I would give my own pets.
“Dallas went above the call of duty spending time with our cats, sending detailed reports, and lots of great photos of our furry friends! We highly recommend her and will use her again!”

“Maritza was an amazing sitter! She sent photos and updates every time she took care of our cats, Buddha and Gagoots. You can tell by the photos that they really liked her. She played with them and really cared for them from a Wednesday through Sunday! We will definitely use her again! Highly recommend her.”

About: Hello! My name is Lizbeth. Pets have been a part of my life since I was young. And throughout those years my family and I have had and cared for several dogs and my own cat. I have experience from caring for puppies to senior dogs with disabilities. I love to spend time with them and look forward to meeting your pet family.

“Alexis was fantastic! Alexis brings calm welcoming energy that my girls needed and I felt very comfortable with having her in my home. My two cats are very different, a three-month old kitten with chaotic energy and oral medication needs, and a one-year old with timid shy energy, Alexis was really great with both personalities. She followed all my directions perfectly, she sent nice pictures at every visit, and she even got my shy girl to come out of hiding a couple times. I will definitely be using Alexis again someday!”

“If I could give Dawn 100 stars I would!! She was AMAZING taking care of my little Yeti. She was communicating and sending beautiful pictures of him all day. He never eats at strange locations, and he even ate with her. She has a sixth sense for animals!! I'd recommend her everyday.”

“Alexis was AMAZING! My German Shepard has a lot of anxiety when I leave her and she was right at home with Alexis. I was sent photos throughout the stay which was great and picked up a very happy pup! I will be a repeating customer after this great experience!”

“This was my first time using Rover and actually my first time leaving my dog with anyone for more than an hour (besides the vet). We were traveling and staying at an Airbnb so we could do a day at Legoland. I was nervous, but everything went great! Bailey immediately took to Amy's assistant who came out to greet us and happily went with her, which is not something he would do with most people. She sent a video and some photos while we were at the park, which was a huge relief to know he was doing okay. I would definitely recommend Amy and am much more at ease using Rover again.”

“Cindy was great! She was able to take wilson last notice and was very thorough making sure she knew his feeding and potty schedule. Her daughters were wonderful playing with him and petting him too! Highly recommend”

“We had a wonderful experience with Sandra, our Rover sitter! Our dogs were clearly well cared for, and the little extra touches made it even more special — they came home with a star and a goodie bag, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Communication was great, I received pictures and a video of their day. We would absolutely book again!”

“Chris was very chill, cool, and communicative. We were only gone for a few hours at the nearby Storm King Art Center but got plenty of photos and our puppy looked happy. She was smiling.”
About: I’ve had cats, dogs and many other animals my entire life and know how important it is that they get quality care and love! I have always cared for all other animals with love and attention as if they were my own whether they were strays or belonged to friends/family. I have dog-walked and pet-sat for friends and family whenever they have needed help, making sure their pets are well taken care of not just physically but emotionally (to the best of my ability!) while they are away. I have walked and pet-sat dogs of all kinds including puppies and senior dogs as well as disabled and special needs! I have also done feedings and general care for other animals including chickens, horses, goats, llamas, reptiles and others. Throughout my life I have rescued and/or taken care of a range of animals including kittens/cats, puppies/dogs, rabbits, chickens, raccoons, mice, opossums, birds, fish and reptiles. With many years of experience caring for animals, I am confident in my ability to provide attentive, compassionate care to your fur babies! I am available in the mornings and early afternoons for pet check-ins, walks, and other care needs. Additionally, I am available after 5pm on weekdays for any evening care, ensuring pets receive attention at the end of the day. I also offer overnight or weekend boarding, providing reliable care when owners are away. My flexible schedule allows me to tailor my services to meet the specific needs of pets and their owners, offering peace of mind and dependable support. When boarding pets in my home, I offer a safe and comfortable environment tailored to each pet's needs. Depending on the pet's temperament and preferences, I can either crate them for security or allow them to roam freely in a designated pet-friendly area. I ensure that they have plenty of space to play, rest, and feel at ease. I’m committed to maintaining a routine similar to what they’re used to at home, including feeding schedules, exercise, and personal attention. If needed, I can also provide extra care, such as administering medications or offering special accommodations for senior or special-needs pets. When caring for pets in the client’s home, I focus on maintaining a familiar and safe environment for them. I will follow the established routines for feeding, walking, and any other care instructions provided. Whether it’s keeping them indoors, ensuring they have outdoor playtime, or administering any medications, I approach each task with responsibility and attention to detail. My goal is to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for in the comfort of their own home or mine.

“We've used Morgan twice - once for day care then boarded her overnight a few days later. Our puppy Chelsea loves going to Morgan's and came back from her overnight looking happy and well. When she got out of the car at Morgan's house for her second stay there, she ran to greet Morgan and was excited to go inside. When we picked her up the next day, she was being very affectionate with Morgan. Not sure what more anyone can ask for from a dog-sitter.”

“Isabell is great. She took the time to make sure my Abby was comfortable with everything and everybody. I used her during a medical procedure I was having and she made me feel so comfortable leaving my dog in such a great environment it took a lot of stress off me. Can’t say enough good things about Isabell and her family”

“David was great with our two dogs!! He gave them excellent and attentive care with plenty of updates and photos. I felt peace knowing they were comfortable and safe!”

“David was wonderful and very loving to my pet dog Patches. He was kind and calm and Patches took to him immediately. My pet usually doesn’t want to eat with sitters but David got him to eat no problem. I would highly recommend him!!!! Thank you David!!”

“Nina did an awesome job taking care of Duke. When I picked him up he was smiling, and then immediately fell a asleep in the car. He was a very happy puppy and I would definitely use Nina again in the future!”

About: I have 15+ years of experience boarding and caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, providing a safe and loving environment for dogs has been a part of my life for many years. My family has a long history of boarding and breeding hunting dogs through established bloodlines in Scotland, giving me experience with dogs and their individual personalities from an early age. I intentionally board no more than three guest dogs at a time. Keeping our guest list small allows me to provide personalized attention and gives each dog the opportunity to settle into our home and become part of the family during their stay. 🏡 A true home-away-from-home: I don't routinely use cages or kennels. Our guests are welcome to freely roam and enjoy the home just like our own resident dog, Benji does. If your dog is crate-trained and you prefer that their normal crate routine be maintained, we're happy to accommodate that as well. 🐾Room to explore: My home sits on two acres with a beautiful pond, and walking trails offering plenty of interesting sights and smells for supervised outdoor adventures and potty breaks. 🌳Right on the Heritage Trail: I am fortunate to be located directly along the Heritage Trail, making it easy to incorporate leashed walks, fresh air, exercise, and plenty of sniffing into our guests' stays. 🐶 All shapes, sizes & personalities welcome: From little pups to gentle giants, energetic personalities to professional couch loungers, we understand that every dog is different. I do take the time to learn your dog's routine, personality, preferences, and comfort level. 📸 You'll receive photos and updates throughout your dog's stay, so you can see how they're doing and enjoy your time away with peace of mind. 🚗 Transportation is also available for an additional fee, depending on location, and I am happy to accommodate extended stays of 7+ nights. My goal is simple: provide a warm, comfortable place where your dog can enjoy their own little vacation while you're enjoying yours. Rest assured, during your pups stay they will be only with a familiar face, Benji the house resident and myself :)❤️🐾 Pet care is a natural part of our everyday routine. Because I welcome a maximum of only three guest dogs at a time, I'm able to give each pup plenty of individual attention throughout the day. Our guests enjoy regular leashed walks and potty breaks, including walks along the beautiful Heritage Trail located right by our home. There is plenty of time for play, exploring, naps, cuddles, and simply relaxing with us around the house. I do my best to maintain each dog's normal feeding, sleeping, walking, and medication schedule so their stay feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I also welcome extended stays of 7+ nights and offer transportation for an additional fee when needed. My home is located on two beautiful acres with a pond and direct access to the Heritage Trail, giving your dog plenty of opportunities for supervised outdoor time, adventurous sniffs, and leashed walks. Inside, I provide a cage-free, home-style environment. Guest dogs have free roam of my home and are treated like part of the family rather than being kept in kennels. I will use a crate if an owner requests it because that is what their dog is accustomed to at home. I accept dogs of all sizes and personalities and take time to learn about each dog’s temperament, routine, habits, and individual needs before their stay. I limit boarding to a maximum of three guest dogs at a time so I can provide close supervision and personalized attention. With more than 15 years of dog-boarding and care experience, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment is always my priority. Owners also receive regular photos and updates while they’re away. I encourage clients parents to check in whenever they would like - even a facetime here and there would be nice!

“Natisha is a very rare find. If you’re wondering whether to book her or not do yourself and your fur babies a favor and just do it. We are two medical professionals and our schedules suddenly overlapped in a way that our bully girl needed someone to take care of her twice a week in the middle of the day. Natisha to the rescue! So responsive, so responsible, so punctual, so loving and caring to our girl! Now we’ve permanently retained her twice a week. Five stars isn’t enough stars for Natisha’s service.”

“Tiffany took great care of my dog. The photos she sent during my time away were comforting, in that I could see that the dog was both healthy and having a good time. I was a little worried because I haven't had her too long and she's a rescue, so I didn't want her to feel displaced again. However, she settled right in at Tiffany's and settled back in at home, easily, which shows that she was not overly anxious about having been dropped there, thanks to the wonderful care she was provided.”

“We highly recommend Natacha and Micky. They took such great care of our puppy and we felt completely at ease knowing she was in great hands. Thank you both once again! 😃”

“We only used Arsenii once so far but will definitely be going back. Oscar has a bit of separation anxiety but Arsenii's place provides a relaxed vibe and Oscar made himself right at home.”

“Our dog has stated with Richard and Karen 3 times now and all have been good experiences. They are responsive, send photos, and clearly know how to handle dogs. They are also extremely reliable and were available this time on short notice.”

“First of all, I was super nervous to leave my precious Teddy with someone we didn't know (and the first time he'd have been left with someone we didn't know) & Rebecca was fantastic! Kept me in the loop with how teddy was doing, got him calmed down cause he was nervous too/ sent me photos of my lil guy throughout his stay with them... I couldn't say enough good things about our experience! Teddy seemed to love them too and that's what matters to me. I'll definitely be wanting Rebecca to watch him on our future summer adventures where pups aren't allowed. THANKS SO MUCH!”

“First time using Rover and couldn’t be happier. Andrea keep us updated through out the trip and when we picked him up he couldnt seem happier. Highly suggest you book with Andrea for your dog sitting needs.”
