“We used Morgan, and actually Rover.com, for the first time. My husband dropped off Laska (our hound mix rescue dog), and noticed that she seemed happy to go with Morgan. For us, this is a big deal because she's been through a lot. When we used the kennel Laska would fight us going in, and would come home stressed out and completely out of it. This was not the case after picking up Laska from Morgan's. Laska was clean, happy, and not stressed out! This was a first for her! Laska did have some separation anxiety, so she chewed her bed up. That was our fault because we forgot to tell Morgan about the routine that we have when we leave the house. As a result, we thought Morgan would tell us that she wouldn't watch Laska again, but to our delight, Morgan said she will take her in the future.”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I have multiple years experience caring for dogs, cats, pocketpets, rabbits, fish, parakeets, reptiles and chickens. I also have experience providing care in a rabbit/cat/small animal rescue and in stables so I am very well rounded when it comes to all manner of pet care. I am comfortable walking, feeding, playing, etc. Currently my schedule is generally Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a bit of leeway here and there. I can do walks and drop ins on evenings and weekends. Knowing what your pet needs in advance makes it easier for me to set my upcoming schedule to accommodate them. And as an added bonus when it comes to working from home: House sitting is a breeze! I am able to give tons of attention during the work day and use my breaks to take pups out for walks and play time. For my own pets I have two cats and guinea pigs. The guinea pigs have a large cage in my spare room/office and there is plenty of room to board other pocket pets if need be. For other people's pets I will absolutely treat them with the same care and attention as my own. I understand that each pet and family is different so I will use your guidance and details to know exactly what your pet needs to make them happy and comfortable!
About: I have more than 10 years of experience volunteering for animal shelters and working with dogs! I’ve worked as a kennel assistant and bather/groomer with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds, including puppies, seniors and disabled dogs. I also have experience in overnight pet sitting as well as drop-ins, caring for cats and dogs alike of relatives and family friends. “We used Morgan, and actually Rover.com, for the first time. My husband dropped off Laska (our hound mix rescue dog), and noticed that she seemed happy to go with Morgan. For us, this is a big deal because she's been through a lot. When we used the kennel Laska would fight us going in, and would come home stressed out and completely out of it. This was not the case after picking up Laska from Morgan's. Laska was clean, happy, and not stressed out! This was a first for her! Laska did have some separation anxiety, so she chewed her bed up. That was our fault because we forgot to tell Morgan about the routine that we have when we leave the house. As a result, we thought Morgan would tell us that she wouldn't watch Laska again, but to our delight, Morgan said she will take her in the future.”

I will use a crate if an owner requests it because that is what their dog is accustomed to at home. I accept dogs of all sizes and personalities and take time to learn about each dog’s temperament, routine, habits, and individual needs before their stay. I limit boarding to a maximum of three guest dogs at a time so I can provide close supervision and personalized attention. With more than 15 years of dog-boarding and care experience, creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment is always my priority.
