“I am so satisfied with Alba’s dog sitting for my two dogs this past weekend! I have an almost four year old and a fourteen year old dog, and Alba cared for both of their different needs excellently. I received frequent updates without having to ask, and was able to meet her and visit her home before agreeing to let my dogs stay there. I felt at ease once I met her, and could see her love for dogs. She has a fenced in yard that even the smallest of dogs couldn’t escape through, and she lives in a walkable neighborhood with sidewalks. Right away, my two boys felt at home during our pre-visit. “Yessenia was absolutely lovely to work with. She answered any questions we had as first time Rover customers in order to put us at ease. We could see from the first interaction that she would be kind to our dog, as she immediately got down and gave her hand to the dog to sniff and then pet her. She has a daughter with a sweet and gentle personality, who kindly shared her own blanket with the dog to make the dog feel more comfortable. Yessenia‘s husband was friendly and pleasant as well. Yessenia sent us multiple pictures and updates over the weekend while she watched the dog. Though we brought some supplies, she was also prepared with her own if necessary. Furthermore, since Yesenia had already experienced life with a senior dog, she offered us some suggestions that might help with our pup. Our Rusty had never been cared for by a stranger up to this point. It was hard for us to leave her. That said, we would not only highly recommend Yessenia and her family to other dog owners, we will definitely reach out to Yessenia again if we need someone to board the dog. Yes, she sent me plenty of pictures every day, including before and after pictures of their plates, litter boxes, She let me know every detail about their wellbeing even sent me the pictures of throw ups, if she found one. When I was back, I found the house clean and in order. She even took all the garbage out with her. Well, I couldn’t ask anything more from her. I feel very comfortable leaving my cats with her again.”

I triple check that all doors to your home are locked while I take your dog(s) out for a walk and after I leave. I am comfortable using any security systems you might have to ensure that your home is completely secure. If you confine your dog to a space for their safety while you are not home, (crate, room, playpen, etc.), I will also triple check that they are secured in that space before I leave. About: I've had dogs for my entire life since I was a child. Bred Australian shepherds, so comfortable with puppies. My aussie had 11 pups. Such a wonderful time, bottle feeding. Have gone to many dog training classes. The dogs are part of the family while here. Not caged unless you want them crated when I'm not home. When they are outside I stay with them entire time, not left in back yard without me there to supervise. Simply adore dogs and all their own personalities. I take the time to spend individual and special time with the dog everyday while staying with me. Have my own dog, An Australian shepherd named Jilli, she simply loves having dog friends over so she can play and sharing her dog toys. Her favorite thing is playing catch in the backyard with a dog friend.

We were staying out on Long Island, and had event tickets each day in the city, so we needed flexible doggie day care hours to accommodate our needs. We felt so very blessed to find Sarah! She welcomed Violet into her home and treated her like family. She is very well equipped to care for any pets and has plenty of equipment and facilities thoughtfully laid out in her home and yard. She has thought of everything her guests could possible need! She kept us very well informed throughout the visit so I didn’t have to worry and wonder about our baby one bit. She obviously loves animals and treated our sweet girl like her very own. Violet was so happy to get there each day and loved playing with all the people and pets in Sarah’s household. I have only ever used day care services on Rover and really couldn’t imagine boarding our fur baby with someone other than a family member, but I wouldn’t hesitate to leave her at Sarah’s! About: I have cared for animals ever since I was a little girl, have always had a dog in the house and would walk our neighbors dogs for fun every day. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, guinea pigs, lizards etc. I am currently at stay at home mom for my 2 young daughters. We also have double gates for extra safety in the yard. About: Hey there! I am new to sitting, but always willing to learn and gain experience :) Happy to take on any type of dog or cat (I have both). My cat is an escape artist, and my dog is insane. I can handle it all. I am free all summer for pet care! There is a short stretch of time in August where i will be away, but other than that, I am excited to meet new pet friends :) I am well versed in crating dogs, as well as keeping an eye on mischievous animals. If there is need during the week I’m usually away from home for 10 hours during the day including my commute time to and from work. We will walk and feed them before we leave in the morning and as soon as either of us gets home will do the same and then again before bedtime. In our home, pets are cared for in a calm, safe environment. We live on the second floor of a house in a suburban neighborhood with sidewalks, which allows for safe, structured walks. While we don’t have direct yard access, we make sure dogs get regular walks, exercise, and attention. I also have a senior cat who is naturally shy and takes time to warm up, so I’m very understanding of pets who may be anxious or need a slower, more gentle approach. About: I have been very passionate about animals and the environment since I was 3 years old! I grew up around so many animals and it encouraged me to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. About: I grew up in a house full of pets and have volunteered at various pet rescues. Now, 51 years later, through every chapter of my life, milestones, joys, and losses, there has always been a pet by my side. I can’t imagine a home without the sound of paws, the comfort of companionship, or the simple, grounding presence of an animal. I work full time from home and am happy to be flexible to any schedule. This works particularly well for pets that are used to a routine. My pets include a Labrador Retriever named "Jax" who is 6 years old. Jax likes to run about in our fenced yard. I also have 3 cats named "Beau", "Shadow" and "Oliver" who remain indoor. All of my babies are rescues.
