I’ve worked with cats at a day care that would board and currently work with cats that come from long flights or need to be out on to a plane. About: The first dog that I fell in love with was Charlie, my best friend’s beagle. I cared for him for weeks at a time, and that’s when I realized how much I enjoy looking after dogs. Since then, I’ve had the chance to care for several pets, both on and off the books, and each experience has made me love it even more. Although I’ve never owned a dog myself, I have a deep respect and appreciation for them. I understand the dedication, planning, and responsibility that goes into making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and understood. As much as we wish we could bring our pets everywhere, sometimes the best choice is leaving them in a place where they feel at home. I am currently unemployed and I live with my parents (who also love dogs), so there’s almost always someone home. I was working at Central Park for these last few months, but now that the season is over I can dedicate myself to working my dream job… along with finding a career that goes with my degree. I’ve cared for dogs both in my own home and in clients’ homes. Our quiet neighborhood has plenty of small parks and green spaces for quick walks or a good 30–35 minute wander. I also have a ground-floor apartment with a fenced backyard where dogs can roam, zoom, or take care of their business when a full walk isn’t ideal. When I’m in a client’s home, I follow whatever routine works best for their dog. I can stay overnight or visit in the mornings and evenings for walks, feeding, playtime, and light grooming. My priority is keeping each dog comfortable by sticking to the routine they know.

About: I've cared for both dogs and cats my whole life-- I've never lived without a pet! I also have experience as a volunteer caretaker through my local animal shelter, and a deep passion for animal welfare and happiness. I work part-time and am a part-time student, so please check my calendar for availability. I have class from 4-9pm Tuesday & Wednesday and my work schedule is typically the day shift on Monday and Thursday. Again, if there are any deviances, I will mark them on the calendar! I'm happy to let your pet set the pace-- if they're a cuddle bug, I'll give them snuggles, and if they need some time to warm up, I'll sit quietly while they get used to me. If your puppy feels the need for speed, I'll take him on a sprightly jog, but if your senior prefers to take the scenic route, we can stop and sniff every tree. About: I’ve had animals my whole life and have extensive experience fostering both cats and dogs! More than anything, I love to meet new animals and put my whole heart into giving them the care they deserve. I have two lovely kitties of my own who I love so, so, so, much (I will tell you all about them if given the chance). In my foster experience, I have given loving care and found forever homes for all of the following: -Disabled Pets -Elderly Pets -Kittens and Puppies FULL of energy -Former Strays -Pets Requiring Attentive Medical Care I promise you, in any situation with an animal, I am more than willing and equipped to provide the best possible care. Additionally, I know what it’s like to trust your own pet with a stranger through Rover as I’ve done it many times. I know it can be nerve-wracking and anxiety-inducing just imagining your furry family member in the hands of someone else, so I always make sure communication and trust with you and your lovely pet are the number 1 priority. So please, allow me to allow you to take a (somewhat) easier sigh of relief that even if you can’t be there with your pet, they are in the best possible care! I work full-time until 5PM every weekday, so I am available for walks and care after 5PM M-F and boarding on the weekend. I have all the necessary materials and supplies for both cats and dogs (bowls, harnesses, leashes, adjustable crates and carriers, grooming equipment, etc), all the windows have screens, and I live near several parks and green areas. I have two adorable lovely kitties who are friendly but I also have a separate unused bedroom that can be used as needed.
