About: Like many others, I am a dog lover and was raised taking care of family dogs. Unlike others, that passion led to training and classes, competing in dog sports, and now, competing in dog shows. I have experience with many breeds of all sizes, senior pet care, reactive dog care and training. I would love to help you with your pet care needs! I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate most dogs’ needs. I currently have open availability for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop in visits. Dogs are treated like one of my own! I take your dog out for leashed potty breaks several times a day, according to their needs. While I am working, your dog can settle on the couch or one of the many dog beds, or relax and play with my dogs (a Golden Retriever and a Foxhound). If your dog likes the crate, I have an extra for them. When I run errands, your dog will be crated or gated in a separate room from my dogs for safety. I live on 4 acres next and next to a cemetery, so I can take your dog for relaxing walks in a peaceful environment.
“Kasia went above and beyond caring for our dog Penny. When she wouldn’t eat, Kasia thoughtfully prepared rice and egg to make sure she was happy and healthy. She was so attentive, gentle, and loving, our pup was truly in the best hands. Her boyfriend was also wonderful and patient, and I received beautiful daily photos that gave me so much peace of mind.”

“We were so pleased with Elizabeth’s care for our dog. He’s older and uncomfortable around other dogs so the fact Elizabeth only keeps one dog at a time is perfect! From the pictures she sent we could tell he was very relaxed and happy. Will definitely use her again.”

I will hire Richard again in the future when we need someone to look after our cat.”

About: I am a reliable and caring pet sitter with over 13 years of experience caring for animals, including cats since childhood. Now 19, I have grown up around and cared for cats of all personalities, from shy and independent to playful and affectionate. I understand feline behavior, body language, and routines, and I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment. I treat every cat as if they were my own and make sure they feel secure, cared for, and loved while you’re away.

About: My wife introduced me to our first cats over 30 years ago. I grew up not being a cat person but I was quickly converted! We have had 4 cats over the past 30+ years. They were part of the family and that is how we treated them. Our 2 cats we have now are 19 and 17 so rest assured that older cats will be well taken care of.
About: I've been around animals my entire life. I had 2 dogs and a cockatiel growing up that I helped care for. I have personally owned dogs, rats, fish, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I also used to foster small animals for a local rescue and have found fantastic homes for over 50 small animals. I work a few hours a day from home so I have plenty of time to interact and take care of your pets & fur babies. I'm available most days and nights. I am self-employed and work from home so I can take care of your pets needs at any time of the day since my schedule is flexible. I personally have 2 dogs, a rabbit, chickens and ducks at my home so there are plenty of things to help keep your pets occupied and happy. I also used to foster small animals for a rescue I helped out with. My yard is unfenced, but I live on a quiet street and have an open area across from my home to play fetch or throw a frisbee with your dogs and mine. In regards to caring for pets in your own home I follow any directions you give me for food/treat schedules, how often they need to go outside, things your pets can and cannot do, etc.
About: I have been pet sitting since I was a teenager. I can take care of cats or dogs and will love them like they are my own! Animals are my passion in life and I love to spend my free time taking care of them. I work Monday-Thursday but am available after 5:00PM on those days and any time Fridays and Saturdays. I currently have two cats of my own who I love to spend my time with as well. I am experienced in safely harnessing, walking and crating dogs. I also have owned animals my whole life and am aware of their boundaries and the fact that all animals are different.
About: **More then happy to negotiate prices** I have taken care of dogs, cats, and some barn animals since 2016 (or before that!). I have worked in the veterinary field since 2021; receptionist, boarding team, assistant, and manager. I am certified to do therapy exercises with dogs and similar pets. I have experience with medically complex/special needs pets. One of my current dogs are dog-selective and I have had fear-free training, which makes me comfortable with animals who need behavioral accommodations. I am comfortable medicating pets (oral, topical, and injectable). I do work full time, but when ever I am not at work and I am able to take care of more animals I will! As long as our schedules match I can care for your pet. I do not have the ability to care for pets in my house. But in your home I can follow any rules/schedules to make sure your pet is comfortable, medically taken care of, and happy! I am comfortable using the following tools: crates, harness, gentle leaders, prong collars, training collars, and different procedures required for medication administration.
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)
About: Pets always seem to gravitate towards me. I make friends easily with the skittish ones, and I seem to communicate with all of them well. I'm currently in between jobs as a dog groomer, so I'm available a lot of the time! Dog grooming is fun, especially when I get to have some puppy kisses in between! My personal dogs don't really get along with other dogs, but they're the most loving things in the world! I'd do anything for my dogs
About: Megan- lover of all things with a beating heart; avid nature enthusiast. Have cared for pets personally and privately since I was 10. Clients relied on me for potty breaks and basic daily care. I have cat-sit as well as horse-sit. Making sure the pets are happy at all times and being engaged in their surroundings is a goal for me. Have trained several of my own dogs - I have 3 - and several dogs in the family & friends. I understand levels of obedience and train ability differ from animal to animal and have the patience to work among your animals needs. Have worked at doggie daycare and a dog kennel extensively in my career. Have administered plenty of dog medications. Bryanna - kind hearted, nurturing individual. Have been enjoying the company of my dogs and others’ pets since about 2010. Have dog-sat & cared for some wild pets, even chickens and snakes! Brought a tiny blind kitten back to life. Had roughly 2 years of basic grooming experience. Nail trimming/dremel, ear cleaning, brushing, bathing. Went on to work at a dog kennel, relocated to Buffalo, and worked at another dog kennel (the same one as Megan!) and learned even more about body language and behavior. Looking forward to meeting the sweet pets! We usually take our 3 dogs out for socialization purposes at least twice a day including walking, playing, training, public stimulation. We have a very open schedule and can almost always assist whenever a client needs. We live closely to multiple public parks, Lake Ontario, Canalside, etc. Our 3 dogs enjoy everywhere we have taken them and we hope that your pets will enjoy these places too. We do offer pet sitting at your home, we would request that we have a way to enter the home and if any products are specific to YOUR PET that they are provided for our use. (Example prescription food, medications, enrichment toys) The house sitting details will be thoroughly worked through with the homeowner beforehand.

About: Our family loves animals. It’s evident when you drive up to our house and see the goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks, cats and dogs. We have lots of experience with lots of animals, at all stages of life and with administering medications. Now that the kids are all in school. I have extra time to spend with my 4 legged babies and yours. We enjoy hiking, long and/or short walks around Canandaigua. I am a responsible and respectful professional. I will take care of your pet and home as if it were my own. I want to earn your trust and loyalty.
“Kate is very kind and easy to communicate with. She took great care of my Bella and always asked important questions. I know Bella had so much fun — her daughter played with her, and I’m so happy that my pet had a wonderful time and was well cared for by Kate and her family.”

“Murphy had his first stay with Garrison today as a 14 week old puppy!! Thank you for the peace of mind!t He was cared for and played the whole time. I got pictures and updates from Garrison which i loved! We will definitely be booking again. Thank you!”

About: I have always had dogs and cats as a part of my family and I also spent a lot of time cat sitting for friends and family. My family fostered puppies and dogs for several years through a local organization! I am in school studying animal behavior and have done an internship at a cat shelter giving enrichment and behavior training to the particularly shy cats. I work part time, only 3-5 hours a day at a shop a few minutes from my house. Other than work and quick errands from time to time I’m home full time otherwise! I have a huge backyard that is not fenced in, however your pet would have full on leash supervised access to the yard! I have an older cat who gets along very well with other animals.
About: Our pets are family, and it can be scary sometimes when you don't know who is caring for them while you're gone. Under my care, I treat every fur baby like they were my fur baby. I grew up living with dogs, a Bichon Frise and a Pit Bull, which taught me how to communicate and care for dogs of all sizes and dogs breeds with separation anxiety. I'm pretty active and am currently training for the NYC 2022 Marathon, so I love to run/walk with my dog Casper. About a year ago, Casper and I moved in with my partner Victor and his 2 cats, Jewel & Scarlett, in Rushville, New York. Initially, we were nervous about introducing them so we started slow by keeping them in separate rooms with a gate. Once they became more comfortable and curious about each other (more on the cats end), we took the gate down after a couple days. It was a seamless living transition if there ever was one. Now all 3 love hanging out on the play mat together with their toys or taking naps nearby each other. We're looking for more furry friends to keep them company and to nap together! Our house is quite spacious with a large open living and family room for lots of play time and nap time. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for dogs and cats. Our house has a huge front & backyard (not fenced) to run around on leash. When it snows, we love making dog trails around our property because what dog doesn't love to run in the snow! And I'm very experienced in putting on dog boots if needed. Lastly, we are a 15-20 minute walk to Canandaigua Lake, and live 3 minutes from Bare Hill. Currently, Victor and I are started a small business that will be launching this Spring. We work from home Monday-Friday and make our own hours so we are flexible. And I'm available on the weekends and any last minute bookings. Before any booking, I would like to set up a Meet & Greet to learn what I need to best care for your fur baby(ies) and to make sure Casper and your dog(s) get along (Doggy Day Care). The dates I'm currently unavailable are July 8-24, 2022 and Sept 1-5, 2022. My Home: spacious living and family rooms for dogs to run around, a play mat area with toys, and plenty of space to bring your dog's bed so he/she feels comfortable and at home. We have plenty of treats and running water fountain for both dogs and cats. Outside, we have a huge front and backyard, although it is not fenced, still a lot of space to run around on leash. And if your dog loves to run, he/she is welcomed to join our running pack. We're a 15-20 min walk to Canandaigua Lake, and a 3 minute drive to Bare Hill Unique Area. Your Home: I will request a Meet & Greet before booking, and would like to do an initial house visit to learn where the pet food, toys and cleaning supplies are located. Along with learning if your pet has any special needs like medication. I will be a respectful guest in your home and make sure your fur baby(ies) are loved and cared for while you are away.
“Calli was great with our dog, we dropped her off for just 6 or so hours and Calli was warm & welcoming to our slightly anxious dog. Would definitely recommend her service and will use again in the future if we ever are in the area again!”

“Dianna was AMAZING! Nothing but positive things to say about her, she took care of my baby and sent me many updates with the cutest photos and videos. I highly recommend!! Thank you Dianna so much!!”

About: I have raised and cared for my families dogs as well as my own personal pets since I was a child. From puppy days to senior life, I have experienced it all and have enjoyed every moment of it. For me, having dogs around is a must! I currently work 4 days a week at a brewery in Rochester. I am available for walks and check-ins Tuesday/Wed all day, Thursday-Friday 8am-11am. Sunday's are open and negotiable as well! I enjoy spending time outside (park, trails, yard) with the active dogs, and talked to/petting the lazy/sleepy ones while they lounge inside. I live close to some wonderful parks, and enjoy throwing a ball around or just taking a stroll.
“Alison was great with Gunner and us, as this was our first time ever using Rover. She was very patient and eased our nerves. She provided Gunner with lots of TLC and practiced his commands with him. She updated us and was always quick to respond. Would def go with her again, and would recommend.”

“This was our second visit to Jeffery’s farm and my dogs got so excited when we rounded the corner! My 2 dogs, Birdie, a pittie mix , age 2 and our new gal Pippa, a 5 month old chihuahua mix enjoyed their visit. Jefferey is a natural caregiver and I feel confident that my babies are in the best hands. Jefferey even did an ink and paw print project with my girls and presented the girls will harvest bandanas as a parting gift. Don’t hesitate to book Jefferey for a visit. You will have piece of mind and your pups will thank you!”

“I was doing a 10 mile hike at Letchworth which is too long for my puppy to hike. Emma lives very close to the hiking trailhead so dropping off my dog was very convenient. Emma and her pup were wonderful hosts. My dog seemed very happy to be there for doggy daycare. Great value for the price. I will definitely book again.”

About: I am a retired teacher who has had pets my whole life. My own children are grown and I am out of the classroom and thrive on taking care of beloved pets - my own and others. I am a hiker and enjoy having canine company when I walk. I will treat your family members with safe, loving kindness. I am involved with rescue work. Both of my dogs are rescues. My Cocker Spaniel was rescued after spending 6 years as a breeder in a puppy mill. I look at each dog I encounter as an individual with their own unique needs based on their temperament and background. This means that I am flexible when dealing with pups. I love cats but don't have one of my own because one of my dogs is reactive to them. I take care of friends' cats in their own homes. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule. I have the freedom to arrange my schedule according to the needs of the dogs in my home. I have a fenced in tard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog comfortable. My dogs are never left unattended even in the fenced in yard. I am always out with them when they are out. I am an experienced foster of dogs recently released from puppy mills. These dogs are flight risks so safety is always my first concern with any dog in my care. I use the two leash protocol when walking dogs. I will only board dogs when i do not have a foster dog.
“We were visiting the Rochester area and needed someone to watch our labs for a couple hours - Kerrie was so flexible, responsive, and overall wonderful with our two very active and enthusiastic labs. If we’re ever in the area again, I know who we’ll be contacting if we need someone to watch our pups!”

“Charlotte was incredibly responsive when trying to organize a booking and provided numerous updates for me when she was watching Bear. Her attention to detail and care is wonderful and I will absolutely be using Charlotte again for my pup! I highly recommend her services!”

“Haley and Amanda were great daycare hosts for our dog Jager! We booked a VERY last minute daycare with them and they were exceptional. Pickup and drop off were seamless, there was active communication throughout the day and photos of Jager playing with their dogs. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely book with her again. :)”

“Margaret and her husband were the most amazing and kindest people we have ever met. They were both so caring and loving to our pup. We are eternally grateful for them. Both were so respectful, listened to all the instructions, and were extremely responsible for pup introductions. They have the kindest and most well behaved dogs. Bonus; they were so kind and considerate about ensuring my small pup’s boundaries, making sure they were being met, with slow introductions, and space to decompress!!! They are without a doubt the best dog people. They care, they love, and your pup(s) would be in the best hands ever. I’d I could give 1000 stars I would :)”

“Gigi was great with Marshall! Their home is very welcoming and prepared to keep the dogs happy and safe. Great back yard too! Marshall enjoyed playing with their two King Charles’”

About: As a pet parent of 23 years I understand how much joy our fur friends bring us. Unfortunately sometimes our day to day life prevents us from giving them all the love and attention they deserve. Please allow me to become part of your pals routine. You won’t regret it. I have taken joy in walking, snuggling, feeding, and caring for my pets over the years. I enjoy being outside and walking daily and I would love new company! With your permission I can take your dogs to some of my favorite walking spots in the area. Work with me and you will see for yourself my punctuality, enthusiasm and commitment to keeping your fur baby happy and healthy. Feel free to message me anytime during the service for your pet pics, updates, and any other information. Whenever you need me give me a call! I’m currently working from home via computer so I have very flexible availability. However I am a mom so if you request a overnight stay I would have to bring her with me. Don’t hesitate to reach out anytime. At home my furry friends are kept in our fenced in yard and on the leash on walks. I would keep the same commit to your dogs.
“Kiara is AMAZING!! I wish I could move her to LA with me. The best dog sitter I’ve had on rover and I use rover very often. As a helicopter dog mom, I would absolutely recommend Kiara to everyone! It was the best experience! Thank you Kiara!”

“David is an absolutely phenomenal dog sitter! He took amazing care of my boyfriend and I’s two huskies, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. My boyfriend especially gets so so so anxious about anybody watching them, and for him to be at peace 24/7 knowing David was there should say a lot. He was incredibly responsive and professional throughout the entire process. The numerous photos he sent gave me so much relief and reassurance, knowing my boys were in good hands and having a blast. I highly recommend David to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter! His wife was also extremely sweet and didn’t mind going on walks with our crazy boys and made the cutest art of them.”

“Vicki was a great! This is the first time we've used Rover and Vicki did not disappoint. She responded within 5 mins of my request and was so accommodating. She popped over to our vacation rental and spent a good 30 minutes meeting us and our dog. She was super responsible and took great care of our pup. I would HIGHLY recommend Vicki! She was AWESOME!”

We have always seen our pets as members of the family and I hope you will allow me to see your dog in the same way. I have friends that I have stayed at their house for a couple of weeks to spend time with their dog while they were on vacation. We went for walks twice a day and had a lot of time playing together. About: During my youth I was surrounded by all sorts of animals. My dad took in cats and my mom fostered dogs. Living in the country, a few of my friends had farms with an assortment of animals. My junior and senior year of high school I moved to Tennessee and enrolled in 4-H. My family started a little farm of our own. Which included goats and chickens. I had planned to go to veterinary school. I ended up having to move back to New York. There were a few animals that stuck out to me while growing up. First my all black main coon. She was my first animal. A Rottweiler named Brutus, he ate every left shoe. My first ever coon hound mix. His name was Eli. During my middle school times I received two mastiff pit bull puppies for Christmas. I raised both of them. Once they were trained, one of them was given to my great grandfather as a companion. The other stayed with me until my father’s dog passed and he eventually took my dog. They are ever happy together. After high school I spent most of my time working. Making ends meet. From waitressing to working at a hospital as a patient care technician. May of 2025 I moved to Georgia and was expecting a little boy in August. My mother does rover and she had gifted me the information to maybe help my situation. I had a few under the table clients down in Georgia and I found that I throughly enjoyed spending time with animals. I remember why I wanted to go to veterinary school. Come August of 2025 I had my son. Fast forward to now(2026) I’m back in NY and would love to find some new fury friends. I can be very flexible. I do have a baby that would most likely come with me. He is good around animals. We have a German shepherd Akita at home and I would never allow anything to happen. Setting boundaries and keep the separation is always a priority. If that’s not a problem, I can come by any time of the day. I have reliable and consistent transportation. Regardless if I’m just stopping in or staying, I always respect and try to leave your home in a better condition that I found it. Making sure there’s a safe environment. Your fur baby is happy and loved.

My personal dogs don't really get along with other dogs, but they're the most loving things in the world! I'd do anything for my dogs
About: Hi, my name is Megan! A little about myself, I am a full time mom, wife and I have three dogs, a Boston Terrier and 2 labs. I have never met a dog that I don't love! I have a lot of experience caring for the needs of my dogs, from cutting their nails, bathing and brushing them out to their daily walks! I would love to meet you and your pets and care for them as my own. I have experience with cats, small pets (hamsters, Guinea pigs, fish ext) as well. No animal is to big or to small! If you're looking for a drop in visit, I will take your pet to the bathroom, play with them, feed them and administer medications if needed. If treats are allowed, I will spoil them with some goodies as well! For walks, they will enjoy a nice 30 min walk (if they can), treats and play time! I look forward to meeting you and your pets!
About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse (for humans)! I have cared for neighbors, friends, friends-of-friends’ pets and am very trustworthy and caring. For most days, I’ll be home all day. I am pet-sitting and occasional babysitting at the moment so I will be there for your pet! I feed, walk, play, cuddle and give lots of love to all the fur babies and will do whatever else is requested (light housekeeping, vet appointments, etc.)
About: I’ve had dogs in the family my entire life. My parents currently have 3 Lab/Australian Shepard mixes that I care for often. I’ve also dog sat for multiple friends on several occasions and loved every minute of it! I’m currently working full time at home. My apartment complex is pet friendly and has it’s own dog park that I can access. My 1200 sq ft apartment provides ample room for running space and my schedule allows for me to provide as much attention as needed to your pet! I’m happy to provide all the cuddles or ball throwing your pet may want! Just let me know what works best for you and your pet.

About: Hi! I’m a passionate animal lover with hands-on experience caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I have been on Rover for several years and am starting up my business again. I LOVE being outdoors and am always happy to take dogs on walks, to the park, or even spend time by the lake. I have a 6-year-old chihuahua mix named Ghost, who I fostered before adopting. I completely understand how to support dogs who may be a little “sassy” and just need extra patience and love...because trust me, chihuahua's have BIG personalities! Ghost also has Addison’s Disease, which has given me several years of experience managing daily medications and have been trained by my veterinarian on how to administer his monthly injections. I’m confident and comfortable caring for pets with medical or special needs. I’m also a volunteer with Happy Tails (Ontario County Humane Society), where I continue to deepen my commitment to animal care. In addition to dogs, I have a cat of my own and am happy to care for cats too, whether that’s feeding, litter box maintenance, playtime, or just providing plenty of snuggles. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority! I’m currently working from home with a flexible schedule and can work around your schedule! I’m happy to stop by whenever is convenient for you. I prefer at least a day notice in advance if possible. I will follow whatever instructions you provide. Does your pup need a walk? Does he/she need to play fetch in the backyard? Or does he/she just need cuddles? I’m happy to provide multiple levels of care because I care about your pup!

“Boo had a great stay with Kate! I loved receiving photos and videos to see how he was doing. Happy to have a place where I know he’s happy and being well cared for when I’m traveling.”

“Kim was fantastic, and my dog was so happy at her house. Kim sent lots of photos, and communicated well. I am so happy with Kim’s services, and will be returning again soon. Thank you!”

“Mariema was fantastic! She took our brand new 2 year old rescue with little helpful instructions from us and kept her busy, having fun and getting all that energy depleted each day. We got daily pictures and insights into her behavior. Would highly recommend and will be asking Mariema to keep this whirlwind again for us!”

“This is the first time Sadie has been away from us. She seemed to be happy. Sadie is very social and was exhausted I think From all the playing she got to do with the other dogs there. I will Use garrison again”

“Samantha was absolutely wonderful. We were very nervous about leaving our senior dog and very soon in to taking our little dog in we were good. Samantha really did an excellent job making sure he ate and giving him his medicine. We will definitely recommend Samantha to take care of your dog. We will be using Samantha again.”

“Brittani provided wonderful care to our energetic doodle when we recently passed through town. She sent photos and it was clear that our dog felt very comfortable in her home. Thank you, Brittani!”

“Dianna and Matthew were excellent hosts for Blue. Dianna goes above and beyond to ensure you have all the peace of mind you need when leaving your dog. It was easily my best experience with Rover yet and I won’t hesitate to book with them again. Thank you!”

“Jeffery made ny two rescue pups feel right at home on his lovely farm. Jeffery even watched my 5 month old pup who is still potty training. My girls came home tired and loved. We will definitely book Jeffery again!”

“I recently adopted a bunny and we were going away on vacation for a few days… we needed someone who was able to watch my her while we were gone. We had a very nice meet and greet with Julia and she was very flexible with where my rabbit would stay, as well as how much space she could roam around in. She offered a whole room, that would be gated at the door, for my bunny. Since the meet and greet went so well, we booked her for the days we would be traveling. She made sure there was a carpet for my bun’s feet so she wouldn’t be on the hardwood floor. She put baby plugs in the outlets so my bunny couldn’t get to them. I felt very comfortable leaving my bunny with Julia and her family, they were all very kind. They even put a camera in the room so when they weren’t with my bunny, they could always keep an eye on her. My bunny seemed very comfortable and happy with the situation and adjusted very well because of Julia’s hospitality. Julia offered everything she could to make sure my bunny had an amazing stay. We will definitely be booking Julia again!!”

“He did an amazing job! Sent pictures every day, took my very energetic dog on long walks, she came back such a calm dog. Accepted my late request and was a life saver!”

“Debra agreed to watch our dogs last minute on her birthday (which I didn't know at the time.) She's very warm and welcoming and the dogs were well cared for. Thanks so much Debra!!”

“Amy was lovely to work with and was very accommodating of our and our dog's needs. Her offer to pick up and return our dog took a stress off of a busy travel schedule. We would definitely recommend her!”

“Luna absolutely loved her stay with Kate (she told me so). She went on plenty of walks and had tons of play time. She swam, experienced fireworks for the first and made new friends. I received daily updates from her (including adorable photos). She really handle my high energy child with grace and I will definitely be booking again!”

“I am so thankful I found Samantha to watch my high energy pup when my family went on vacation recently. She and her husband were so good with my guy. She was also very responsive to my constant checking in and sent tons of pictures and videos. I would 100% recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur babies. She was a true Godsend.”
