I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. About: I have had two cats all of my life, while also pet sitting my friends’ dogs when they went out of town. I am very familiar with both cats and dogs and I am happy to hang out with your pet when you cannot be there for them. I am taking a gap year from school so my schedule is fairly flexible. As long as there are set times that are clear I can make it work. Depending on whether you have cats or dogs will change the way I care for your pet in your home. With dogs, there will be more going in and out with walks and with cats I will stay in the home to make sure everything is up to your standards.

I like to remain pretty strict to whatever routine the animal may already have set to avoid disrupting their flow. While I do offer in-home boarding, I ask for an in person meet with my dog and cat prior to boarding just to ensure compatibility. I have a dog named Cheese and a cat named LeeLee who are both rather to themselves and pay one another no mind. If providing boarding your animals will be treated like one of my own.

About: Starting from a young age I knew I needed to be a pet care provider. Starting in high school I worked at several barns providing care for various livestock and companion animal species alike. While I love our livestock, I find more fulfillment in helping our household pets. I’m currently working on an animal care and behavior degree, and work at an animal hospital. I have experience in giving oral medications (to both dogs and cats) as well as subcutaneous fluids.
