About: I have had pets most of my life. I quit my job and started a non-profit, St. Lewis Foundation, which didnt work out, so all the animals in my care became my pets. They were mostly senior and unwanted animals, which is where my heart is. I am unemployed right now, looking for remote work . So I am home all day. I have the time to let your pup out as many times as he/she wants. If they are a little dog I will be right by their side. I am up 6a - 9p. I have 3 senior cats that sleep up high most of the day, so your pup needs to be okay with cats. All pups sleep with me in my king size bed (if they want to). I have a dog bed next to me in my office or a couch in front of a large front window. I have locked screen security doors in case your pup likes to sniff the air. Central AC (I like it cool) and heating. I have many balls and treats (if allowed) and would love to throw the ball a bit. Back yard is not huge but sufficient. All my dogs have passed and I am missing a dog so much but cant commit right now. So let me love on your pup!

About: Do you ever look at your dog and think how did I get so lucky...Pups to many our like children they get all the love you have to give...Like you the time I am with them I will love and adore them...I've almost always had a dog...My beagle Shelby 15 1/2 passed away on December 20, 2022 and Dante passed away July 4th 2020, I don't have the heart to delete them he was 11 and had been with me the past 4 years since I saved him from the NYC kill shelter on his last day...I trap cats have them fixed and find them homes, some stay (10)....I am active on house sitting sites and travel for sits whenever I have free time from work (photographer)...For years I have taken care of friends cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats and Rizzo the rat... I wash my dogs as needed or every two weeks. I brush their teeth, fur, and clip their nails weekly as well. About: I’ve been pet sitting alone for about 8 years now! Friends, neighbors, and other folks have relied on me to feed and walk their pets as well as house sit. I’ve worked with cats, dogs, almost all domestic farm species, amphibians, reptiles, and fish. I’ve just graduated UVM with an Animal Science degree, where I’ve taken helpful classes such as Intro To Exotic Pet Care class and Canine Behavior where I trained local shelter dogs. Through my studies, I’ve learned about nutrition, anatomy, welfare, husbandry, and diseases/ailments for many species. I’ve worked with a lot of senior animals who have a variety of backgrounds at a farm sanctuary, so I’m comfortable working with pets with special needs. I’ve also been working as an ICH Tech at an equine clinic so I am comfortable with medications such as injections as well. I love talking about my experience and am happy to answer any questions people may have! I love going for walks and hiking! The outdoors are so beautiful and even more lovely when you get to share them with a pet. Early morning walks are my personal favorite. Pet visits also work well in my schedule. I don't mind stopping by to let a pet out, feed, clean, and provide enrichment. I love reading and am happy to hang out with pets outside while I do so. Clear communication and meeting the needs of the client are the most important pieces to pet care to me. I like to take notes about expectations and routines, such as feeding or play time, that way I can provide pets with the most consistency and familiarity I can. I like to update folks about their pets by sending photos and messages. And I keep my phone nearby with notifications on throughout my time so that I am available if folks have any questions, concerns, or are just missing their pet and would like a picture!
About: I was raised around animals as a child and even lived on a dairy farm for a few years. As an adult, I have always loved animals. I'm currently working from home with a very flexible schedule, so I am available to take care of your pet most of the time that you might need. I am very comfortable around animals. I always have my cell phone on me just in case and I promise to make sure your fur babies are safe and happy. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I can take care of your pets during the day. I walk or use public transportation so the closer the better! When I get to your home I will complete the list of tasks (food, water, kitty litter, etc.) Then spend the remaining time petting/playing with the fur babies and/or walking your dog.
About: I’ve cared for family and friend’s pets for over 20 years. I’ve been a foster mom and I have 5 dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently working part time so I am able to spend plenty of time playing and walking with your fur baby as needed during the week and sometimes on weekends. About: Starting from a young age I knew I needed to be a pet care provider. Starting in high school I worked at several barns providing care for various livestock and companion animal species alike. While I love our livestock, I find more fulfillment in helping our household pets. I’m currently working on an animal care and behavior degree, and work at an animal hospital. I do not allow pets to stay in their crates for long periods. Instead, we spend time outside playing and engaging in daily training exercises with each pet. Each animal is treated like they’re at home, with the option to have their own food and treats, as well as those I provide. Pets are allowed on the couch and can roam freely throughout the house. We do have a designated space for one of my pets due to her tendency to cause destruction if not monitored, but this decision is ultimately based on the needs of each individual pet.
