About: I mostly have experience with medium to larger dogs. I love going on walks so I will take pets along for the journey. I grew up with bulldogs and I’ve personally owned German Shepards and Huskies. I am currently in between jobs and preparing for a certification test for signed language interpreting. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

About: Since the age of 6 I have taken care of many animals such as dogs, cats, ferrets, chickens, and goats. I also enjoy hiking and tons of exercise. I joined the app in hopes of gaining a friend to enjoy the scenery with. Due to having many different classes at different times of the day I get many breaks. Within these breaks I usually take walks on my own to decompress from school. A friend told me she used Rover as well and I thought might as well have a furry friend join me on my walks and enjoy the sunshine too. I have pet sat for neighbors and friends for many years and feel I am very respectful of their homes. While working at a clients home I feel communication is key to build trust and that their house should be the same when I leave as when I entered prior to sitting.
About: I’ve taken care of my senior dog for four years before she passed away. This includes feeding, bathing, brushing, meeting her potty needs and walking. I also pet sit for two dogs when their owner is out of town. I work for a restaurant during the morning or afternoon shift for roughly 6 hours. I can work in between those times and I only have one shift a day. (Some days are completely open!) I am very good about respecting spaces and following directions. I usually walk dogs twice a day around the neighborhood; however, I will follow whatever directions are given. I love giving attention to pets, especially dogs that need some extra care. “Maellen is the warmest, caring, and most attentive dog sitter we've ever had. She sent us daily updates with pictures and was very responsive anytime we had a question. We could tell our Toby was happy, safe and comfortable in Maellen's home. Not once did we worry about Toby's well being, safety or comfort and we were able to enjoy our time out of town. Toby got his daily walks, plenty of time with Maellen and we could tell that she took great care of Toby. We are looking forward to having Maellen watch Toby again. In fact, we have confirmed another booking with Maellen later in the year.”

Leaving our doggos with someone new is always a bit stressful, but she instantly won them (& us) over & treated our dogs like her own. Throughout the stay (overnight plus additional hours), Marlena was incredibly sincere & honest with us about how our dogs were doing. She provided detailed updates, photos & videos, we so appreciated her open communication. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such a safe, capable, & loving hands. “Onrae did a great job watching Daisy for me. She was a recent rescue, who was a stray and still getting acclimated to her new life. I had to go out of town for a few days and was concerned about what I was going to do. Onrae was easy to communicate with from the start with the meet and great, sent photos and videos daily. She had a great time and came back just as happy as I left her. I would definitely use him again”

“We were very reluctant to leave our newish rescue pup while we went out of town until we heard about Rover from a family member. We decided to check it out and did a lot of research before finding Peter and Mia. We met him for a courtesy meet & greet and things went way better than we expected! We left our pup knowing she would be in great hands and we were right! Peter and Mia are very knowledgeable and took such great care of our Cha Cha. She loves hiking so they took her on nature adventures everyday and Mia helped her adjust to her new scenery, quickly. Peter sent us the most gorgeous pictures of our Cha Cha and it helped ease our nerves about leaving our precious girl for 5 days. We literally can’t thank Peter and Mia enough for giving our pup such a great experience! We will tell everyone we know about how wonderful Peter and Mia are and we will continue to use him in the future.”
