We were in ABQ for the Balloon Fiesta and realized that I had left the dog's bag with their food and food bowls in it at home when I went to drop off the pups. She had spare food for them to eat and even a spare leash to take Penny and Baxter for a walk, because I forgot that, too! First time ever I have done that, but Anne is prepared for every catastrophe a pet owner could have, with multiple leashes, bowls, and yes, even food available for pets. He house is like a luxury pet resort. Makes me wish I was a dog so I could have stayed with her!”

About: I have been around dogs since birth, and began house sitting in others houses about 4 years ago. I have owned and dog sat large dog breeds, small breeds, and everything in between. I have raised my own puppies and taken care of them until they are also seniors. I understand how important it is to have a reliable sitter and want to give your fur baby the best possible care! I am a full time college student but only attend in person class for a couple hours, two days out of the week in the middle of the day. I do participate in some outdoor activities some nights of the week for small increments of time. Other than that I will spend all of my time with your animal! I only go to clients home, but I am completely comfortable staying over night. I will do anything you ask for your fur baby, and may add a couple of treats throughout the day:) ! I am also comfortable walking/running your dog, and even taking them out in public if you are comfortable.

“Michael watched our fur baby for 13 days. She is approx. 14 yrs old, and we were worried about leaving her for such a long period of time. She does not get along with other animals and as the only pet Michael watched he was able to provide her with individual attention. He sent photos daily, which we greatly appreciated. “Wendy was great. She sent me pics of him, gave me updates of the situation, and asked if there was anything else she could do to keep Almond comfortable. Wendy let me know immediately that Almond started howling in the middle of the night. I wasn't sure what was going on since he never did that at home. My initial thought was he was missing me and home. And because of his age, I believe he got disoriented and lost and couldn't identify where he was at. Wendy did follow the instructions I left and asked if there was anything more she could do. I appreciate Wendy giving Almond the extra care he needed. Thanks again..”
