About: I've had pets my entire life and have cared for puppies as young as 5 weeks old and kittens as young as 3 weeks old. I've also cared for older dogs who have needed help getting outside to use the bathroom. I now have 3 dogs of my own, all trained by me in basic obedience and loose leash walking manners. I have administered pills and syringe medications to multiple dogs(never cats, but I wouldn't be opposed, if you needed it done). I've also had 10+ hamsters (AT ONE TIME), 5 bunnies, a few guinea pigs, 2 ferrets, a chinchilla. I have also cared for reptiles; fed my friends' snake while they were on a month long honeymoon, my sister's leopard gecko, and my own bearded dragon. I have a very flexible schedule and work my other side jobs around my Rover schedule. My schedule is usually pretty open before 11am and after 2pm. I follow your instructions to a T, be it feedings, walks, certain play regiments. I give dogs plenty of time to go potty during drop-ins. About: I’ve grown up with 5-6 dogs always in the household. My mom is a licensed dog breeder, who also shows dogs and has for years as well as myself (2 years of dog showing experience myself, my mom over 20+) . We have shown dogs, groomed them, trained them behaviorally. I have dealt with ranges of dogs as far as puppies, chihuahuas to whippets, Aussies, German sherperds, Dobermans, and even Irish wolfhounds which is the breed my mom has always had since I can remember. We have also fostered dogs of mixed breeds, and trained dogs behaviorally or for dog shows, for clients. I have quite the experience in different kinds of dogs and the type of personalities they may have and am always up for a challenge. I do own two shy but friendly cats, but my apartment has enough space that they can be put in a separate room for a portion of the day while your kiddo and I hang out! We will probably just sit together on my couch while I read or watch TV together, nothing too loud that would cause any stress.

About: I have always had animals in my home growing up. Currently I own 4 cats but have had small rodents such as hamsters and guinea pigs as well. I worked in pet care for Petsmart and worked there for 2 and a half years before beginning my teaching career. As someone who has had rodents and taken care of reptiles at Petsmart, don’t hesitate to contact me if you have exotics! I have taken care of and watched my parents animals which consisted of 6 cats, one had to have insulin twice a day. For walks, I try to spend as much time walking your dog as possible during the booking. I am super respectful of your home and am not nosey AT ALL, I hardly even know where people’s bathrooms are.

“Kelli & Jacob were absolutely wonderful. They took excellent care of Mo, our Mini Schnauzer, for an entire week while our family travelled. This was our first time using Rover and Mo’s first time being boarded. Kelli & Jacob quickly quelled any initial anxieties. They really took time to understand Mo, his habits, preferences, house boundaries, etc. so they could make him feel at home. Communication was excellent before, during, and after. We also received regular updates throughout the week with photos ❤️ We will definitely be in touch for future trips!”

“We contacted Alex at the last minute to board our dog, Finn. She is amazing!! Her response time was fast, we were able to schedule a meet and greet that same day and she took excellent care of Finn during his stay. She has 2 well behaved dogs that loved up on Finn. He did so well with Alex and we were at ease for our very special trip. She is organized and handles many dogs at a time with confidence and skill. She is good at communicating so we knew how Finn was doing. I highly recommend Alex! We will use her in the future for sure!”

“Ashley and family were great! If I could give her 10 stars I would. We planned a weekend in Rocky Mount and booked boarding for our dog at a local boarding place. We dropped her off and before we left they let us know she was too anxious and would not be able to tolerate the whole weekend there. We tried one other boarding facility and they had a similar set up so I knew she wouldn't be able to stay there either. I found Ashley on rover and messaged her about booking for the weekend last minute. Our dog is very anxious around other dogs which becomes aggression because she gets so worked up. Ashley was able to keep her for the weekend and keep her separated from their other dogs in the home. I was very relieved to know she was safe and taken care and that the other dogs in the home were safe too. When we arrive Harley went right in with them and was happy when we picked her up! They were very understanding and accommodated us so we did not have to cancel our trip last minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I will definitely be booking with Ashley any time we are in the area.”

“I cannot recommend Emily enough!! Our dog Gimli can be nervous about new experiences and I was amazed at how quickly he felt at home with Emily. She really went the extra mile at helping him to adjust in her home and with her pets, and he really thrived there. She is also a fantastic communicator and regularly shared detailed updates and photos that put our minds at ease. When we picked him up after his 8 day stay with her I’m not sure he wanted to leave!”
