About: I’m originally from Michigan, I love to travel and take adventures. Just graduated with a Bachelors In Science in Radiation Therapy and am looking for a break from studying for my ARRT boards. About: After loosing our family dog, Sophie, who was 15, I decided to pursue pet care in place of getting another dog. I love the opportunity to provide excellent pet care and have met some wonderful families through Rover! I have a lot of availability to care for your pet. I am a patient person with a relaxed personality and will remain flexible to meet your family's needs for pet care. While I do not have a fenced in back yard, we live on a dead end road with no thru traffic. I provide walks 4-5 times a day and will make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, love and attention! We have older children who will play with your pet to keep them company, or can leave them alone if they prefer a more independent environment. We will treat your pets as we would our own! Our children are in school during the day, so I can give your pets a loving and relaxed environment with lots of exercise as I love to provide multiple walks daily! I am flexible to provide what each pet needs! We have plenty of room in our home for your pet to make itself at home!

About: I've taken care of everything from snakes to guinea pigs to dogs to horses. Amphibians as well. I have worked in boarding for over 4 years, and I have been a vet assistant for one. I started off volunteering at the Charlotte Nature Museum when I was 15. I have interned at Carolina Raptor Center. I love all animals in any shape or size. I am also certified in Knowing Dogs 101 and 201, which covers recognizing individual and pack behavior. (ex. when your dog is in a doggy daycare and is playing with other pups.) I have two furbabies of my own, a guinea pig named Tatiana, and a spoiled rotten but adorable mutt named Sora. I promise hou that I will love your pets too! I have an open schedule for looking after your pet. I am more than happy to do morning and mid-day walks, visits, and feedings. I am unable to do late-night visits at this time. (After 8pm) I hold myself to a very high standard for looking after your pet. I will treat your pet and your home with the utmost respect. If they are on meds, then I will make sure that they get them on time and I can also give insulin if a pet is a diabetic.

About: I have taken care of friends and neighbors dogs starting 20 years ago. We had dogs as I was growing up. I can provide play and enrichment for the energetic ones and laptime for the low-key ones. If they need meds or a special diet, I can make sure they stay on schedule and on plan. They will be safe and cared for while you are away. I work remotely with a pretty flexible daily schedule. Pet visits are scheduled within my day. While I am with your Pet they will have my full attention. Caring for your pet in your home is a big responsibility and I take it seriously, but it is also where your pet is most secure and comfortable. It is where their bed and their toys are and where they expect you to return. Keeping them safe and happy is my biggest priority.

The comfort of a home versus s kennel is priceless to s pet and owner. I boarded my dog only one time and realized I could never do that to her again. My next door neighbor and I began switch off care for our animals during vacations and my other friends heard and wanted my help with their four legged loved ones. I I have boarded several at my home for a week at a time and was able to give owners piece of mind. I also dog sit/ house sit as needed due to the ages of the pets. My routine revolves around making sure my dog is walked, fed, and given plenty of attention throughout the day. Feel free to message me about availability! I typically am available whenever you need!! I have a very friendly and energetic Husky in my home who loves staying active. We go on walks around the neighborhood about every 2 hours for potty breaks, as well as mental and physical stimulation. We also occasionally enjoy car rides to the dog park for extra fun and exercise. Since my yard is unfenced, I have a secure outdoor lead available. If your dog enjoys spending time outside like mine, I’d be happy to accommodate that upon request. For safety and comfort, I also have a crate available and can crate your dog or mine as needed.
