I have just recently moved to the Twin Cities from a small farm in Illinois. I am retired and have free time nearly every day. I have been taking my pup Hugo for long walks every day as Hugo and I explore all the wonderful outdoor spaces. Just purchased a home in West Saint Paul with a fenced yard for my pup Hugo. In addition, I go for a one hour plus walk most days with Hugo. I love to be active and love dogs and cats. The cats are still adapting to being inside as they transition from farm living to urban life.

About: I’ve cared for dogs since my teenage years, from puppies to seniors. Lately, I’ve fostered and adopted senior rescues. I consider dogs some of the most special creatures on Earth. I work full-time from home and love having dog-walking breaks throughout the day. I can sit in your home (as long as there’s wi-fi so I can log into work) or mine. My 15-year old Chihuahua mix passed away recently, so I currently do not have an animal companion in my home, though that doesn’t last very long with me! I do not have a fenced-in yard; however, there is a walking path across the front street of my home and a city park across the street in the back.
About: I am experienced with senior, special needs, and medically complex dogs. My husband and I also foster through various local rescues! I have had my own dogs (and cats, chickens, bunnies, etc!) my whole life. We both work from home and will be with your fur baby 24/7 during their stay. My husband and I both work from home. We are both home and able to provide 24/7 care for the animals we board! Our large, fully fenced yard provides lots of space to run and play on nice days. I have a very large fenced yard with two dog pools for hot summer days. My home offers multiple rooms and, due to the fact that we often foster, we have several kennels and other “safe space” areas if your fur baby feels safer hanging out or sleeping separately from the rest of the pack. Although, we are a household that encourages pets to curl up on the furniture! We have 2 dogs of our own- a collie/Aussie mix and husky. Both are friendly, up to date on vaccines, and love other dogs! Lastly, we are a cat friendly home but do have separate spaces available if separation from them is best.

I am open to stopping in daily and caring for you pets in your home as I dont have much space while I am currently living in the city with roommates and multiple pets in our household. If your pet has a favorite park, or yard to play in, I would be happy to engage in their favorite activities hwith them in those places.
