About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.

“Xan was amazing! I was in the area camping with my dogs and wanted to take a kayak tour. I didn't think that the dogs would do great for that, and luckily Can was able to watch my guys. About: I have had my own dogs (and cats, chickens, bunnies, etc!) my whole life. I have also been relied on by friends, family, and neighbors for years to care for their fur babies while traveling. My husband and I also foster dogs through various local rescues! I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule. Usually, we are both home and able to provide 24/7 care for the animals we board! I have a very large fenced yard with two dog pools for hot summer days. Our chickens stay in a separate enclosed area. My home offers multiple rooms and, due to the fact that we often foster, we have several kennels and other “safe space” areas if your fur baby feels safer hanging out or sleeping separately from the rest of the pack. Although, we are a household that encourages pets to curl up on the furniture! We have 3 dogs- a collie/Aussie mix, yellow lab, and husky. All are friendly, up to date on vaccines, and love other dogs! Lastly, we are a cat friendly home but do have separate spaces available if separation from them is best.
“Takenya is so sweet with our girl. Lilah has never stayed without a family member or trusted friend before so we were nervous. Lilah had so much fun. We got such cute videos of her time there. Our dog came home & happy & tired. She took a big nap. We already booked Takenya again!”

About: As a teacher, I know each dog is unique and individual. I’m a cautious and observant pet sitter who strives to do what’s best for your pet. I prefer written directions as I know each dog has unique needs and do my best to follow them. I’ve been lucky to grow up with a cairn terrier, to have been a pet sitter for my sister’s pets for five years before I joined Rover, and I’m the mama of an adorable Labrador Husky. Looking forward to meeting your pack! I’m an online teacher (home full time) who teaches part time summer school as well. I have time during my prep time, after classes and on the weekends to play with your dog and give walks. If your dog allows, I will walk them when I walk my dog, which is 3x a day. I will check on the safety and well being of your pet. I will replenish food and water is always available. If they need some play time, I will also do that. Want them to feel safe.

“Remy is great with my dog! She is communicative and thorough. I know my dog is in great care with her. She is also a great photographer and sends the best pictures! I highly recommended Remy!”

About: Hi, I’m Caitlyn, you can also call me Wren! I have experience caring for several family dogs, one of which was a senior and had lots of mobility issues and pain, so I got comfortable helping her get around safely and giving her medicine. I have also watched many dogs of various sizes & needs for neighbors and friends. I love taking dogs on walks (if they are able), and am happy to match whatever their energy level is! I have a fairly flexible schedule, working part time and attending a few college courses, so I have plenty of availability to spend time with your fur babies! I understand the level of trust placed in me when going into other peoples’ homes to care for their pets, so I am conscious to always leave the space as I found it and go over with clients the spaces and items I should and should not interact with. I am happy to provide extra services like grabbing mail & watering plants if you would like, just let me know!

About: Caring for animals has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with pets and owned several of my own as an adult, so I know firsthand what it means to love an animal like family and what owners need when they hand them off to someone else. I'm comfortable with the full range of needs: puppies, senior pets, animals with medical conditions or special diets, and multiple pets at once. I've administered daily medications, followed strict feeding routines, and handled it all without missing a beat. Because I don't currently have pets of my own, I bring a lot of enthusiasm to every sit. Honestly, I miss having animals around and your pets get the full benefit of that. I take this seriously enough that clients have flown me across the country to care for their animals, which I think says more than anything else I could write in a bio. If you're looking for someone who will love your pets like their own and give you genuine peace of mind while you're away, I'd love to meet both you and them. Pet care isn't something I squeeze into my day. It is my day. I'm fully available and not juggling a rigid 9-to-5, which means your pets get consistent attention and care throughout the day rather than just morning and evening check-ins. Walks, feeding times, medications, cuddles, everything happens on their schedule, not mine. Whether you need someone for a quick drop-in or an extended house sit, I'm flexible and can make it work. I primarily care for pets in their own home because I believe animals are happiest in a familiar environment. Uprooting them from their space adds unnecessary stress, and keeping them in their element means they stay calmer, eat better, and settle in faster. When I'm in your home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I stick to your pet's existing routine as closely as possible, follow all instructions to the letter, and keep everything clean and tidy throughout my stay. I send regular photo updates so you always know how things are going without having to ask. My goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy pet and a home that looks exactly as you left it. The trust you place in me when you hand over your keys and your animals is something I take seriously, and I make sure you feel that from day one.

“Carrie sent pictures and updates each day for walks and playtime and was very responsive. The dog was glad to have some company while we were away!”

About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and have been around many different animals over the years. I started out pet sitting for friends of family members, and families in my local community in my spare time. I have also taken care of a few senior pets over the years by making sure they get their right medications and foods throughout my stay. I also help take care of farm animals, outdoor bird feeders, along with indoor and outdoor plant watering and care. I currently have two cats, Scooter and Goose and they are my world. I am currently working about 20-25 hours a week. My current job is very flexible with hours and time that would allow me to stop in a care for your pets. I am available to do a few days, with the possibility of extending that period of time. I would be able to stop in and care for your pets before I head to work for the day (roughly 4 to 8 hours regularly, but can be flexible) and again after I am done with work for the day before engaging in any activities or turning in for the evening. I am open to stopping in daily and caring for you pets in your home as I dont have much space while I am currently living in the city with roommates and multiple pets in our household. If your pet has a favorite park, or yard to play in, I would be happy to engage in their favorite activities hwith them in those places.
“Donna was awesome. Have two sweet but strong dogs and she took great care of them on their walks. We were staying at a hotel locally and needed our dogs walked mid day. Highly recommend her!”

“Sy has been a lifesaver helping me with Lilly during the week!! She was super quick to respond to my initial request, which I was so grateful for because I needed services suddenly. And to top it all off, Lilly loves her so I feel like she’s in great hands whenever I’m gone! She goes above and beyond, even helping me with her medication when I asked. And she seems to really care about Lilly’s wellbeing, like she’s her own. Definitely recommend!!”

“Nichole & Jacob took great care of our dog. They were very responsive with communication both before and during his boarding. I will definitely be using them for future boarding needs.”

About: Our beloved dog passed away earlier this year. Our family would love to take care of your furry friend in our home before we get another dog in the future. We are mostly away from home during the weekdays and home on the weekends, so your dog would need to be OK being home alone for 8-10 hours if it’s during the week. We have a fully fenced backyard and very walkable neighborhood. Multi-story home with wood, tile and carpeted floors. We have many dog toys and two kids who will love to play with your pet!
“Miriam is great! She’s been watching our dogs for a while now and they always look forward doggy daycare with her. We forgot to pack 1 day of food for our dogs and Miriam made sure they didn’t go hungry. She’s super responsive and attentive to our needs. Would totally recommend Miriam for any rover needs.”

“Amanda, Leif and her boys are the nicest family and they were just terrific with Rosie! These are experienced folks who provide exceptional communication and care. The care and love is genuine - you can tell they really love Rosie. Will absolutely use again and highly recommend!”

“Reggie, Wally and Bohdi can be a handful for less skilled sitters. Mckenzie was awesome and handled them with ease. She sent lots of pictures and great communication. Thanks so much for taking care of them during my hospital stay. We would book again.”
