“We had a fantastic experience with our sitter! She was incredibly communicative throughout the entire stay, sending regular updates and adorable pictures of our dogs that really put our minds at ease. Our pups were clearly happy and well cared for, and they loved playing in her spacious, fenced-in backyard with other friendly dogs. I felt completely comfortable leaving our dogs in her care, and it’s clear she genuinely loves what she does. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 17, and I am passionate about them. I’ve cared for cats of all personalities, from shy and skittish to cuddly lap cats, and even those with special diets or medication needs. I know how to read feline body language, keep litter boxes clean, follow routines, and most importantly, create a calm, stress-free environment while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just quiet companionship, I adjust to each cat’s comfort level so they feel safe and cared for in their own space.
About: I am new to Rover, but I have many years of experience in taking care of animals. In addition to living with cats and dogs for most of my life, I have also volunteered as a dog walker at the humane society. In addition to pets, I also volunteered at the Wildlife Science Center with feeding animals such as foxes, raccoons, bobcats, a lynx, and skunks, and I had the opportunity to care for wolf pups at the International Wolf Center. I am recently retired, so my schedule is flexible. I am available during the day and most evenings and am able to work around your schedule. I currently have two cats and previously had dogs, so I understand the importance of keeping them on a regular schedule. Being around animals gives me joy, so I look forward to spending quality time with your pet. I follow your instructions and make sure to follow your pet’s lead when interacting with them. I send you pictures, so you can see how your pet is doing when you are away. I can also check mail and water plants if needed.
“Katie was great, she came through on a somewhat last minute request when my prior sitter was no longer available, and made it work! I came home to a pretty mellow kitty and had the ease of knowing she was getting some love while I was away. No complaints!!”

“Alli was absolutely amazing! She was very responsive and did a fantastic job taking care of our cats while we were away. I would wholeheartedly recommend her and would be honored to have her as our rover again! :)”

“Andrea was phenomenal! It is evident that caring for pets is her area of expertise. I was apprehensive about hiring someone to watch our cat but Andrea put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying. We received daily updates of texts and pictures which we looked forward to seeing at the end of the day. I look forward to having Andrea take care of our cat in the future and would highly recommend her to others.”

“Paige is amazing and Sasha comes out of her hiding place to greet her. We come home to a house that does not smell of a litter box left unattended, there’s food in her bowl and available water. Sasha seems mildly happy to see us as well!”

About: I grew up in California on a cattle ranch. I've been caring for all types of animals since I was young. I absolutely love pets and promise to treat yours like my own. I currently lost my 15 year old coonhound, Nelson and want to spend time with your companions to fill the void Nelson left behind. I love to stay active and miss my walking companion. My neighbors and friends like to rely on me for help with their pet needs including weekend stays, morning and evening walks and making sure everyone stays on schedule with feedings. Since growing up on a ranch I have been conditioned to administer medications including shots to our animals. If you have a pet that is in need of attentive care while you are away, I am more than comfortable doing so. Friday -Sundays are free. My work hours are Monday- Thursday, 8am - 5pm. Weekends are best for round the clock care. I am used to waking up at 5 am to get a long walk in prior to work and coming home to immediately repeat that long walk. I prefer to stay in your home to care for your pets. I believe that when pet parents are away it is crucial to keep the pets in their same routine to reduce stress and anxiety. I love sticking to a schedule and routine.
“Jenna was great! She was easy to plan with, easy going about the instructions for my cats, and was very nice to chat with. My cats were a little naughty (just making messes and being cats) and she handled that all really well.”

About: I great up in a household of mainly dogs. I adopted my first cat 8 years ago and instantly became a cat person. I am known by family and friends as the person who befriends cats anywhere I go. My cat obsession has gone so far as to invade my home decore and clothing

We have a flexible schedule since our daughter does online school but more availability in later afternoon or evening for longer assignments . We also have weekend availability. About: Lifelong animal lover and pet owner. Now that I’m retired, it’s time to turn my passion into a service for other pet owners. Your dog deserves a wonderful boarding experience. Low stress, quiet home, play/exercise, and lots of affection. Nothing but the best for Fluffy! Recently retired and ready to provide overnight boarding for small to medium-sized dogs. I have the time and desire to provide excellent care for your dog. Fluffy will receive lots of attention and affection. Your dog will be in a safe and quiet home environment. Access to small grass yard (no pesticides) under my supervision. Special care requests, feeding schedules, etc. can be accommodated. I have been caring for animals (pets) my entire life. Their wellbeing has always been a priority for me.
About: I have had my own dogs (and cats, chickens, bunnies, etc!) my whole life. I have also been relied on by friends, family, and neighbors for years to care for their fur babies while traveling. My husband and I also foster dogs through various local rescues! I work from home and my partner has a flexible schedule. Usually, we are both home and able to provide 24/7 care for the animals we board! I have a very large fenced yard with two dog pools for hot summer days. Our chickens stay in a separate enclosed area. My home offers multiple rooms and, due to the fact that we often foster, we have several kennels and other “safe space” areas if your fur baby feels safer hanging out or sleeping separately from the rest of the pack. Although, we are a household that encourages pets to curl up on the furniture! We have 3 dogs- a collie/Aussie mix, yellow lab, and husky. All are friendly, up to date on vaccines, and love other dogs! Lastly, we are a cat friendly home but do have separate spaces available if separation from them is best.
About: 🐶 Over the years, my wife Diane and I have cared for many pups—ours, family’s, and friends’. We both melt at nearly every dog we meet. We raised two beloved Miniature Schnauzers who became diabetic and blind in their senior years, so we’re very familiar with special needs, administering medications, and tailoring care to individual temperaments. We've also socialized young rescue pups, many with special needs, and are always attentive to a dog's unique comfort zone. Whether it’s sticking to a strict feeding schedule, giving meds, or just making a pup feel safe, we handle it with care and compassion. We also love capturing moments—expect plenty of photos and videos to keep you in the loop while you’re away. 👋 We’re a dog-loving couple who treat every pup like extended family. Diane is semi-retired and the primary caregiver during the day, which gives us a lot of flexibility. I work full-time, but I’m involved mornings, evenings, and weekends, so we share the care based on what each dog needs. When we commit to a pup, we coordinate as a team to make sure their routine is consistent and they’re getting all the love, play, and attention they need. Whether it’s a walk-heavy schedule or a snuggle-on-the-couch situation, we adjust with ease. 🏡 We live in a first-floor, multi-level condo in St. Paul’s historic Hill District, complete with a fenced-in backyard for safe and easy outside time. Indoors, it’s calm and cozy—ideal for dogs who like a peaceful home base. We've kennel-trained our own dogs and usually set up a small kennel under the bedside table, offering a quiet den-like space many pups naturally gravitate to. Whether your dog is staying with us or we’re caring for them in your home, our focus is always on keeping them safe, comfortable, and stress-free. We do our best to maintain their routine and bring them comfort while you’re away.

I also love smaller, older or less active dogs, I have an 12 year old puggle, Fritzie, who I have had since he was a puppy, playing tug, going for walks and short play times is all in our daily routine. I would be happy to spend time with your furry companion giving them lots of love, attention and meetings all of their needs! I am currently back to work. Due to recently relocating I am unable to board pets at my current home, but at looking forward to being able to do so very soon! About: I was an active Rover sitter from 2017-2022 before going on an extended leave. My partner and I have decided to lightly reopen (0-2 stays per month) our home for dogsitting clients because I miss it. If folks are interested in a housesitter and live closer to Edina, my partner Ryan is available for housesitting. He can only housesit for clients with dogs who can handle a standard work day alone. I have a broad experience with many different types of dogs. Since I was young, my family always took in strays and rehomes and it's something that I have continued with as I grew up. I have experience both owning and watching small dogs, large dogs, high energy (border collies and heelers), low energy, high work drive (malinios), anxious, reactive, confident, and multiple dogs. I also have experience managing multiple dog households in which one dog was dog aggressive/reactive. I state this since I know what it's like to try and get a sitter for the "problem child" of the household. I believe dogs are happier when they have a job and love working to find out what dogs enjoy doing! Some dogs enjoy using their nose, others enjoy climbing and jumping on things, some dogs like trick training and some dogs enjoy chasing the ball! But at the end of the night, all dogs like some cuddles and sleep. I currently have multiple dogs that are active in various dog sports, dog training, and walking (slowly getting back into running after an injury). I do not have a fully fenced yard but I also don't ever use my yard as a way of exercise, the yard is purely to go potty or to lay down in while I work outside. Your dog will always be on leash when going potty even if it's below freezing. I am a big believer that there's rarely bad weather just bad gear, your dog will get outside most days with me or at the very least some one-on-one time to play, train, or mental/physical exercise every day. Ryan has experience with anxious and high energy dogs but prefers dogs who enjoy cuddling and long meandering walks. Currently, I am available all day to care for Rover clients. I do have training commitments for Search and Rescue on Saturday mornings but your dog will be exercised either by Ryan during that time or exercised by me afterwards. Clients have their own separate room (my home office) for bedtime and when dogs need to be separated (calm time, feeding, needing to be left, etc). I do not require crating but strongly prefer to take on clients who crate their pups due to poor experiences of client dog’s shredding door frames. If your dog isn’t crate trained, we may have a conversation beforehand about a plan of action if your dog does destroy things when left alone.

“Andrea is so reliable, trustworthy and loving towards our dogs! We have one with some quirky behavior, and she always knows how to handle her. We use Andrea as often as we can because our dogs love her!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life. Having companions of various dog breeds and cats. As well as lizards and Guinea pigs. I also have fostered many different cats and dogs through the Humane Society for North Texas for the past 5 years and have done pet sitting for friends and family. I work full time so but will always do my best to take time to care for and spend time with the fur babies throughout the day and adjust my schedules best I can. Whether stopping in before or after work. Or even-spending the whole days or weekends. I can definitely be flexible to meet the pets and families needs. My home has a fenced in yard and I would definitely be aware of any fencing at a clients home as well. Or any special cage/pet area they have. I love going for walks and getting outside and playing. My personal animals definitely have a routine, feeding and walk schedule to I would be attentive to whatever routine a client has for their pet.
About: I grew up on a dairy farm, and have been around many different animals over the years. I started out pet sitting for friends of family members, and families in my local community in my spare time. I have also taken care of a few senior pets over the years by making sure they get their right medications and foods throughout my stay. I also help take care of farm animals, outdoor bird feeders, along with indoor and outdoor plant watering and care. I currently have two cats, Scooter and Goose and they are my world. I am currently working about 20-25 hours a week. My current job is very flexible with hours and time that would allow me to stop in a care for your pets. I am available to do a few days, with the possibility of extending that period of time. I would be able to stop in and care for your pets before I head to work for the day (roughly 4 to 8 hours regularly, but can be flexible) and again after I am done with work for the day before engaging in any activities or turning in for the evening. I am open to stopping in daily and caring for you pets in your home as I dont have much space while I am currently living in the city with roommates and multiple pets in our household. If your pet has a favorite park, or yard to play in, I would be happy to engage in their favorite activities hwith them in those places.

I am currently available for Drop ins and Walks. I try to spend a bare minimum of 15 minutes with any drop in to make sure they get all the attention that they need. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I understand that all Walks aren't created equal. My Walks always vary based off of the needs of the dog. I am also an avid cat lover. I am more than happy to stop by and feed, clean the litter box, and snuggle/play with your feline friends. Currently I work full time on the West side of the cities, but I have Sundays and Mondays off to help with your animal needs. My hope is to expand my availability over time. My current weekend lines up with some weekdays. I spend most of those days out and about, so I'd love to check in on some cute animal while I am at it! Slow and steady is always best. I am a believer in letting animals come to you. I have experience with a kennel trained and unkennel trained dogs. As the owner of a 15 lb dog and a 80 lb dog, I am experienced in walking all sizes of dogs.
About: I’ve had dogs in my house since I was a baby. I groom and brush my dog’s teeth weekly. I love dogs and I will always give a home to one. I’ve had cats less than I’ve had dogs, I’ve always loved cats but wasn’t able to get one till now. His name is Piza and he has cerebella hypoplasia which is a brain condition which limits his coordination. If you have a pet with special needs that needs care, I’ve got you covered! I’m very familiar with cats having their own routines and schedules, so don’t be afraid to share all of your cats dislikes, likes and habits! I am someone who is able to match energy with your pets. If your pet is mellow, so can I! If your pet is hyper, so can I! I also have experience with farm animals. My family has a family farm and recently I’ve been taking care of a paralyzed goat which you can see in the last two photos! I’m a high school graduate and have a lot of free time this summer. I spend a lot of time with my dog in the summer at the dog park as well. I am a very clean person, I don’t leave out messes and always clean up after myself. “Leave it better than you found it”. .

Would definitely recommend Robert and plan on using him again in the future.”

“I have used Jenny and Mark twice now in the last month. Bost experiences have been easy and comfortable. I know they are taking good care of my dog and will continue to use them in the future.”

“Friendly, good pictures and updates! Our dog Ripley can just be nervous and scared but I was happy to see another puppy for her to play with. She seems to trust easier when another dog are around and relaxes quickly.”

“Anna provided really great care for Sloane! She sent me daily updates and Sloan always looked very happy and tired and all of her photos. Anna also has a really great backyard where pups can run around and I know that Sloane really appreciated the opportunity to explore! We will definitely be rebooking at some point!”

“We have two high energy Standard Poodles - a 2 and a 1 year old - who stayed with Lisa for two nights. We booked this at the last minute because our original provider had to cancel. Lisa was great with our dogs even though they’d never met her before. She knows how to connect & establish a relationship - even with our timid one year old. Lisa communicates clearly about arrangements and sent us photos and videos too. We’ll happily use her again!”

“Trudy takes excellent care of my dog and keeps me posted on how her stay is going. My dog enjoys staying with Trudy and her family. They take her on walks and treat her like a member of the family.”

“Kyle took such good care of my baby Reba! Kyle had high communication with me regarding an ear infection that my pup was struggling with and even took her to the vet when she needed to be seen. My pup was at Kyle’s for over a week and had the happiest demeanor when I picked her up. It was clear to me that she was treated well and had a good time. I’ll definitely use Kyle again for Reba’s care.”

“Kristina took great care of our one-year-old doodle, Molly. Sent lots of videos to reassure us Molly was getting lots of love and attention, as it was our first time being away from her. Kristina has a beautiful property and home for pets to enjoy.”

“Julie & Chad took wonderful care of our Lancelot this weekend! He was so happy when we picked him up, and we could tell he really enjoyed his stay! They communicated and sent photos during the weekend, which we so appreciated!”

“Robert sent photos and videos everyday. He really picked up on our dog's personalities. We will definitely use him again and recommend him to others. The dogs had a great time!”
