From May 12–17, we received nonstop updates, photos, videos, and hilarious messages that made it obvious he was being treated like part of their family. Every single day we could see how relaxed, loved, entertained, and completely at home he was. What impressed us most was how personal and attentive Angie was. She paid attention to Stark’s personality, routines, favorite activities, and even his moods. By the end of the stay he had apparently become a “country dog,” joined family movie night, made himself at home with the other pups, and spent his days running around outside living his absolute best life. The communication was exceptional. We never once had to wonder how he was doing because Angie constantly kept us updated with thoughtful check ins and genuinely funny commentary. You can tell she truly loves dogs and enjoys caring for them, which makes a massive difference. She even bathed and dried him before pickup after all of his outdoor adventures. About: 👋 I’ve had dogs and taken care of them since I was a child. I’ve owned an Airedale terrier, a pug, a Russian terrier, and my family currently has a Japanese spitz and a toy terrier. I have lots of experience - I have adopted a doggie from a shelter before, and I’ve also raised my two pups from 3 months old until they passed a few months ago at ages 14 and 16. Prior to registering on Rover I’ve boarded dogs - I looked after a friend’s pug for a week, a family friend’s elderly golden retriever, and fostered a stray my sister and I rescued from the street before someone adopted her. I’ve taken road trips with multiple pets, and flown across the country with 3 of my dogs, I’ve taken them to all sorts of vet appointments, and been with them through all stages of their lives. ♥️ I’m on this platform looking for company to heal from losing my furry friends - the pain of it shook me to my core, I loved them so much, they were my family members (you know how it is). Being around dogs brings me peace and joy. I am a performing artist and I travel a lot for concerts, so having my own pet is unfortunately not feasible at the moment, hence I decided that taking care of someone else’s furry babies while I’m home between performances is the second best thing:) You can rest assured that I’ll take great pleasure in looking after them and having them in my home. 🏡 I work from home during the day and I am home from evening until morning, too. I do however step out for errands and appointments. Your dog will be with me most of the time while staying in my home, walked 2-3 times and fed on schedule, but should be comfortable being on its own for 2-3 hours max, if I have things to do. ❗️If your pup has severe separation anxiety and is unable to be alone at all, I can accommodate that with enough notice and for 2x my normal nightly rate. 🐶 I’ve always let my dogs run free around the house and made a safe space for them where they liked, but I did crate my rescue doggie when he first arrived to slowly acclimate him to the new place. Whatever you prefer for your dog is fine by me and I’m happy to accommodate. I don’t have a yard, but I have plenty of green areas nearby where I’d walk your furry pal. I keep my dogs on leash at all times. I steer clear of other dogs by default when I’m walking your dog, so whether they’re leash reactive or not, I err on the side of caution 100% of the time. 🐕 I like training doggies and playing with them to give them some mental stimulation, but if they prefer to chill and not be bothered I’m cool with that as well ❗️I’m not looking to scale this as a business and not looking for a potentially unsafe situation, so I’m always only caring for 1 dog at a time, unless both dogs are from the same owner and are part of the same booking.
About: I am an animal lover to my core! I've had dogs my whole life, and have been proudly owned by Labs, French Bulldogs, and currently a pair of Chihuahuas. I have also cared for cats as long-term fosters! I volunteer with the French Bulldog Rescue Network, and have attended obedience classes at Capital Dog Training with several of my dogs. About: I’ve had a dog for 12 years and family and friends have trusted me to take care of their dogs and give them the proper care. “Angie and her family gave Stark one of the happiest weeks he has ever had with any sitter. From May 12–17, we received nonstop updates, photos, videos, and hilarious messages that made it obvious he was being treated like part of their family. Every single day we could see how relaxed, loved, entertained, and completely at home he was. What impressed us most was how personal and attentive Angie was. She paid attention to Stark’s personality, routines, favorite activities, and even his moods. By the end of the stay he had apparently become a “country dog,” joined family movie night, made himself at home with the other pups, and spent his days running around outside living his absolute best life. The communication was exceptional. We never once had to wonder how he was doing because Angie constantly kept us updated with thoughtful check ins and genuinely funny commentary. You can tell she truly loves dogs and enjoys caring for them, which makes a massive difference. She even bathed and dried him before pickup after all of his outdoor adventures. That level of care and consideration says everything. Finding someone trustworthy is important. Finding someone who loves your dog like their own is rare. Angie is that person. We are incredibly grateful to have found her and will absolutely book with her again. Highly, highly recommend.”
