About: I have grown up in a house with cats since I was an infant and quickly learned to care for them from a young age. As I grew older and entered my teen years I began volunteering to take care of shelter cats just as a little something to brighten my day, and to make sure all the shelter kitties were loved. I have always been able to quickly identify when something was wrong with my own cats, and was the reason both of my cats got the medicine needed to treat allergies/ asthma. I have had about 6 cats throughout my entire life time and each one has been loved just as much as the last!
About: I’ve had and loved pets my entire life! (I was convinced I was going to be a vet until I realized I would very likely sob every time a pet got sick.) From my black lab, Raven, to my cats Lily and Langston, to now, my long-haired chihuahua, Midge, animals are just a part of the day-to-day! Since age 12, I’ve been petsitting for friends, family, and neighbors (including overnight stays) and cared for dogs who are super energetic, playful, and independent to dogs who experience some anxiety and might need a bit more attention❤️! About: I’ve always had cats in the house and have cared for them from birth to end of life. My most recent experience is with my adopted baby, Sushi, who I adopted as a kitten. About: When I’m not teaching in the classroom I LOVE taking care of fur-babies! My journey with pets have been life long and I have been around dogs specifically since the age of 2. I have taken care of my family dog since the year of 2015 and housed many rescue dogs during the summers of 2018 and 2019. I am currently on summer break until August 28th, 2023. I have open availability and can be on call if needed. I am open to dog walking, pet sitting, and/or pet check ins. I currently live in the fort Washington area. “Ms.. Dana has been amazing since the beginning. Our meet and greet was scheduled promptly and upon arrival she had a welcome poster with our pup’s name on it. We toured her home and our pup loved it all. He played a little in her yard and home as we talked. I had many questions about her process and she was very patient answering them without hesitation, easing any concern I had. Our first time dropping our pup off, Ms. Dana was sure to send videos, pictures and messages throughout the day. I love this part because it showed our pup happy and energetic as he normally is. It was funny to me because when I thought of me pup a video or picture would pop up from her, coincidentally. When we picked him up she gave a report about how he did, which was super helpful for me. Another time we used her she had another dog there. I was curious how our pup would connect with the other one and it turned out that he did great. Each visit, I leave little instructions with his food and treats and she’s followed them without a problem. We’ve also brought a toy or two with our pups name on it and have always gotten those items back. Because things have gone so well with daycare, we’re trying out boarding with her. I’m certain things will go well as every interaction with Ms. Dana for us and for our pup has been great! I would highly recommend using ms. Dana if you need someone. She loves dogs, cares for them well, has a great space for them to play etc. We will be using her until our pup grows out of her weight range.”

This includes experience with senior dogs and medications I am currently in nursing school and have a flexible schedule! Your pup can get as much play time and outside time as they need! I’m also available for a regular walk to get your baby out of the house and a little fresh air during the work day or on the weekend when you have a busy schedule. I’d love to hang out with your pet!! I’m only in school for half days so I’m free the rest of the day to care for pets!! About: I owned a dog for most of my life. My dog sadly passed away after fifteen great years of happiness! I watch my friend's dogs when they go out of town because I'm usually always reliable and do most of my work inside my home. I am not lazy with taking dogs on walks and I care for pets like they are my own :) I am a stay at home mom to a 2 year old so I am always home to care for your loved one. We have a fenced backyard and lots of areas to walk. I can be flexible about what your pet needs. If you would prefer them in a crate at night I’d be happy to do that but usually I love having your pets roam around my townhouse and our fenced yard!

The rate is higher for cats because we do not own a cat right now and would need to get proper cat equipment specifically for your cat. All pet must be crate trained for safety. We do provide crate training services for puppies but keep in mind our dog will need to be crated during your puppy’s stay with us. For safety we always pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and will provide updates with pictures to you!

“Steven is fantastic. I had a family emergency and the person who normally walked Tully was unavailable. Contacted Steve and he came right away for a meet and greet. My dog is a rescue so he doesn’t always do well with strangers but he was so happy with Steve right away. Steve asked if he could take Tully on a short introductory walk to make sure they were a good match which made me much more comfortable. Definitely would recommend Steve! About: I've taken care of pups since my daughter brought home our first baby, Cookie. We trained her to give her paw, sit, lay, and to kiss at "kiss" command. It's the cutest thing ever. She has been the Queen of the house ever since and then came along, Cinamon which is Cookie's daughter. They are best friends! Cookie had pups a while ago and we held her paw during birth and cared for her babies until they left us to our family members. Cookie is now considered a Senior but I always find ways to accommodate her needs so she can keep being the queen! We take constant walks around our neighborhood and also hang out in the big backyard. I'm currently not working; therefore, I have plenty of times to board and do drop in visits. I leave out occasionally to do grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and/or church services. I do not have a fenced yard but we do have secured long leashes to the soil which makes them feel like they are freely roaming around. We prefer to crate overnight but if your pup cannot do training for special reasons, we can accommodate. We currently have two small pups, a Yorkie and her daughter. They can be timid at first and will bark until they come down and get over the first couple minutes. We can put our babies away in separate rooms if needed be.
About: As a pet owner myself, of an energetic poodle, I understand the importance of maintaining open communication while your pet is in the care of another person. I work 100% remotely, which allows me the flexibility to cuddle, play, and care for your pet. I have a set schedule for walks but can also accommodate as needed.
