About: I am a lifelong pet owner and animal lover with over 25 years of caregiving experience. I have had dogs almost continuously since kindergarten ranging in size from a 5 lb poodle mix (Trooper) to a 95 lb yellow lab (Nala), in addition to 3 years as a parent to 2 cats, Jules and Gemini. Jules was with us only briefly due to her advanced age when she was adopted, while Gemini is a much younger kitten who wasted no time claiming my home as her own. About: My 48 lbs mutt loves to wrestle and I love to hike. I can guarantee your dog will get exercise with us. We have a fenced in backyard and the woods with a creek behind our house. I love walking endlessly with my dog and I’m happy to take your dog along too. I’m off this summer and home all day with the pups. I walk, sleep in, camp and hike in the woods. Your dog should come. I have a fenced in yard and the woods behind our house for walks. We have dog agility equipment set up in the backyard and plenty of wildlife around.
“Abigail helped me to understand why my dog makio is so anxious and stressed out related not used to be apart from her mom. I didnt know the anxious or stress actually hurtful to her health and Abigail found some way to help to cut makio’s stress or disract her. Abigail gave makio her favorite sweet brown cow doll. “We had a wonderful experience with Josh and Andres. We came to the Silver Spring area from New York City to attend the funeral of a beloved family member, bringing with us our dog Hobbs who had never been in a doggie day care setting. We were extremely fortunate to find Josh and Andres who agreed to take care of Hobbs while we attended the funeral, even without the usual "meet and greet," given our unusual circumstances. Hobbs was greeted by Josh, who immediately put Hobbs, my husband and me, at ease. We warned Josh that Hobbs would "yodel" in distress when we left. Josh assured us that he would distract Hobbs. Off they went on a walk, no separation anxiety expressed by Hobbs. While we were at the funeral, Josh periodically texted photos of Hobbs playing with his new doggie friends to reassure us that our "fur baby" was in safe hands and enjoying himself. I would highly recommend Josh and Andres to any and everyone who wants an excellent, safe, secure and happy day care or boarding situation for their dog. I wouldn't hesitate to bring Hobbs to Josh and Andres again when we are in the Silver Spring area. And on the basis of this excellent experience, I would use "Rover" again in other locations.”

During Smokey's stay, they treated him like one of their own, and provided updates, photos and videos to let us know how he was doing. About: We might be new dog parents, but we’ve got a lot of love to give! We have a single dog home and want to watch your pup on the weekends. We are currently only looking to watch dogs on weekends right now, that may change in the future but currently only accepting Friday - Sunday sits. We have a home with a large fenced area where our 1 year old bernedoodle will play with your dog. We have treats, toys, dog beds, and crates if needed.
