“We couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our Arthur! From the start, Amy was attentive, responsible, and truly cared for our boy like her own. Arthur is adventurous and always getting into something, but she handled everything with ease and kept us updated with pictures and messages. It was clear Arthur felt comfortable and happy in her care. Highly recommend! Thank you Amy, and Mayzie!!”

“Tricia was amazing and I cannot thank her enough! We left our dog Evie with her for 4 days and she had a blast! She sent pictures and videos throughout our time away and it definitely helped ease the pain of missing our girl! When we picked her up, she was happy, excited and very well cared for and you could tell she had the best time. Tricia is the best and I will absolutely be leaving my girl with her any time we go away from now on.”

“We can't tell you how very grateful we are to have found Kristin on Rover. This was so much more than simply a safe and healthy boarding experience! She (and Mark!) engaged our Blake in daily life like he was their own. The frequent notes and photos let us know he was happy and content, not to mention thrilled to be with other dogs! He really had a great time! To say "highly recommend!" is truly an understatement. Thank you Kristin!”

“Alexis was an amazing cat sitter! My cat has severe asthma and requires a daily inhaler, and Alexis handled his care with ease. I was able to go out of town completely worry free because I knew my cat was in great hands. Alexis is friendly, professional, and clearly cares about animals :)”

“Alissa is a responsive and lovely sitter! Booked her last minute for a weekend trip and she was prompt in accepting the request and responding to any questions or updates I requested. Will definitely use her services again.”

“Charisma was amazing! Buck clearly loved her and was so comfortable the entire time. She kept me updated with daily photos, which I really appreciated, and her communication was great throughout. What stood out most was her ability to problem-solve—she handled small issues confidently and kept me informed without making anything stressful.”

“Katie went above and beyond in every aspect! She took care of my 2 kitties in my home for 2 weeks, coming over 2x a day, making sure they had all care provided plus plenty of playtime and cuddles. She responded to my booking request and messages quickly, did troubleshooting with Rover support on my behalf when I had issues with booking, sent great photos and detailed care summaries while I was away, offered to pick up necesities to make my return home easier...she even offered to drive over when my car needed a jump when I returned home to a dead battery in my car! I was very nervous leaving my kittens for 2 weeks, but she instantly made me feel at ease during our meet & greet: attentive, asked good questions, and she followed through with remembering all my verbal instructions when I forgot to leave behind a printed summary of care instructions. My kittens can have separation anxiety and haven't interacted with many new people--they instantly took to her (even the spicy one) and I loved seeing the many photos of her having a good time with them. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for pet care. Next time I'm out of town, I will absolutely be booking Katie again!”

“Alison is legitimately the best pet care provider I have EVER had. My cat fell completely in love with her. Every picture, Frannie was interacting with Alison. Keep in mind that Alison and Frannie were strangers to each other. Frannie was sitting in Alison's lap making biscuits on day one. Alison sent so many great photos and responded so quickly to all of my messages. When I got home the litter box was clean and the floor was clean. She literally vacuumed up all of the tracked litter. She was at our house caring for Frannie exactly when she said she would be, and I know this because we have a ring doorbell. I have already rebooked for our next trip.”

“Riley was awesome! We contacted her kind of last-minute, but she made time to meet us and our cat before our trip and then accommodated our drop-in needs through the week. She's responsive, trustworthy, and caring, which went a long way toward mitigating our cat's usual grumpiness when we go away. We highly recommend Riley to others in the area!”

About: I have had pets my whole life and have been trusted to care for them consistently. Having 2 of my own dogs and many reptiles/amphibians, my care for pets goes deeper than most.

“Me and my husband hired Shayla for drop in visits while we were on our honeymoon and we cannot thank her enough for the fantastic job she did looking after our cats. She dropped in twice a day for a week and provided us with not only updates but photos of each visit, we really appreciated being able to “check in” with them during our vacation and loved watching them warm up to and become friendly with her during that time. We will 100% hire her again and highly recommend her!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats(only a couple) since I was a kid. My friends, family, and nanny families knew they had someone they could trust to take care of and love their fur baby like it was mine. I have lived with a dog my entire life-all rescues(Golden Retriever, Pitty Mixes, King Charles Spaniel, Rotty Mix, Lab Mixes, Great Dane…) Our current fur baby Midnight is a senior Lab Pitty mix. I have experience caring for puppies to seniors. I am comfortable giving medication, feeding, bathing, walking, cleaning up after, and transporting your dog. I have less experience with cats, but have house sat several cats-making sure to follow their feeding schedule and cleaning out their litter box. I have a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I worked with children 6 weeks to 5 years old for over 12 years. Which means I have lots of patience, love, and understanding. I have been lucky to be able to stay home with our daughter the last five years. But I am ready to make my way back into part-time work. I believes pets are our family and I will treat yours like mine. It would be a honor to help care for and love on them. I am currently a stay at home mom. My daughter is in preschool three days a week and starting kindergarten in the fall. So I have flexibility in my schedule. At the moment I am available Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 9am-12:30pm, and flexible Thursdays and weekends. I can do drop ins, hangout time, playtime, walks, and lots of snuggles and pets. At the moment I am not able to board any dogs or cats. My sweet boy was attacked in his foster home and still learning to trust other dogs again. I am comfortable come to your house to care for your pets.
“Kaylee has just finished a week of visits to take care of my two cats. This is her second stint for me. Very happy at the attention to detail. She even left food for the squirrels! (if I forget they find the bag themselves!) Thank you Kaylee above and beyond.”

“Ace is an incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and caring sitter. We booked her to care for our two older cats and she was so communicative and kind to the little guys. One of our cats needs a subcutaneous injection daily, and she did a wonderful job delivering it - even when he was being difficult. I couldn’t recommend Ace enough, and am definitely going to book her again in the future.”

“I had a wonderful experience with Karen. She watched my 9 week old puppy and provided me with updates. Karen was also flexible. I had to change my drop-off and pick-up time during one of the days that she watched my puppy; and Karen made it work for me. I's super thankful.”
“We found ourselves in Mexico with no one to watch our dog on our return day. We could have called a few different friends to let our dog out a few times but no one could take him from 8:30am-9:30pm. We were hesitant to book someone we’d never met before but finally just did it. What an incredible experience. Received photos and videos all day. Thank you SO much for treating Porter like one of your own!”

“Keith and Ashley were both extremely kind, informative and accommodating. This was my first time using Rover so I was grateful to find someone who could talk me through the process. Their questions on his care were very thoughtful and showed Keith and Ashley truly care about the animals that will be in their home. I had no worries leaving my dog with them, and he was wagging his tail as soon as I pulled up to their house for his second visit!”

“Amazing experience! Paul was awesome with communicating and sending regular updates/pictures! She was very well taken care of while she stayed with him and his family in their home. You can tell Paul is an experienced dog professional and I felt at ease my entire vacation! He pooped my 3.5 year old girl out! When I picked her up she was excited to see me but when we got home she laid on the couch and started to snore!! Her days were filled with adventures! I wholeheartedly recommend Paul. Your dog will be in good hands :)”

“Angie was fantastic! I needed a last minute day care sitter for my dog while I had an event in the city near by, and she was able to accommodate my early morning pick ups/late night drop offs, and was even able to do it herself since I didn’t have a vehicle. I got constant updates, and my dog was super happy and excited to see angie each morning! Highly recommend!”
“We have loved working with Tricia! Very flexible, understanding, and affordable. She went the extra mile for our senior dog. Can’t wait to book the next visit for our dog!”

About: I have had pets my whole life and have been trusted to care for them consistently. Having 2 of my own dogs and many reptiles/amphibians, my care for pets goes deeper than most. I am currently working on becoming credentialed as a NP so I am no longer working a full time job, making me free almost any day. I have a fenced in yard with 2 friendly dogs but am also available to come to your home as needed! I have a home of my own as well so I know the importance of keeping the home safe and clean for our little friends.
“Anna is a wonderful doggy care taker! Our two pups were very happy and she sent lots of pictures of them cuddling and hanging out just as if they were at our own home, not somewhere new! This was our first time using doggy day care for one of our dogs who we recently rescued so we were nervous but we couldn't have found a better person to make them feel at peace. Definitely recommend and will be requesting her in the future!”

“This was my first time booking with Vassu. Vassu was wonderful with my dog, Maddie. Maddie enjoyed her large fenced in yard, including discovering her dog door. Maddie was also spoiled with walks, dog toys, and the company of Vassu's dog Ninja. Vassu shared pictures with me through out Maddie's stay. Vassu was professional and made my first time experience with the Rover App a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I will definitely use Vassu in the future. Maddie and I thank Vassu, Ninja, and her family for all the love you gave her while she stayed.”

About: Your pet is not a guest in our house, it’s a loved family member for life! We individually your pet’s care based on its preferences and habits. I am a pet lover working from home who loves the company and snuggles. My kids are crazy about dogs and love them dearly also. We live in a beautiful home with a big fenced in yard but do take the dog(s) out daily to explore in the woods and have fun!
“Russ and Jan were amazing with our dog Bailey! They sent daily pictures and updates. They were so kind to work around my work schedule and be so flexible. Every night Bailey came home she was zonked from having so much fun! Bailey looks forward to going back again!”

“Miss Megan is great! JJ loves going to visit whenever we’re in town and I feel so confident that he is safe and happy with her. She does a great job keeping him quiet and calm until I come back. Thank you, Miss Megan ♥️”

“Sarah is very attentive to my dog! She has made her very welcome and my dog has adjusted very well. I am very glad to have a safe and comfortable place to leave my dog while I am at work. Sarah is wonderful!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. My two doodles love other dogs and are non-aggressive, but if there are any issues I am happy to separate them. I used to train dogs in another life so I know how to handle and care for dogs.

“Paul has been a great asset to getting the stimulation my German shepherd was bred to need! Both of my dogs respond so well to him. They’re very Intuitive dogs that instantly pick up on someone’s nervousness or lack of confidence - but Paul comes in with a confident but clam nature that they sense immediately. Both my dogs have struggled with reactivity - but have had no issues with him.”

“Starting a regular cadence of visits with Katie was the best decision we’ve ever made for our dog! She is super reliable, flexible when schedules or weather force changes and provides the absolute best care and communication. I think our dog likes her better than us! I never worry about a single thing - she is so thoughtful and thinks of everything he might need. We really really appreciate her. She deserves all the stars, I’d recommend her to anyone.”

“Shayla has walked my dog Yogi twice now, and she has been great each time! Our meet and greet went really well, and when it rained on their walk, Shayla took the time to clean Yogi's paws and dry him off. I loved seeing the photos from their walk and playtime on the Rover Card. I look forward to using her again!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I've cared for all types of dogs from dachshunds to pitbulls; toy poodles to great danes. No dog is too excitable or too strong to handle. I am an active person and will make sure your dog gets lots of exercise. My husband and I like to make sure all pups end the day happy and tired. With a large yard on a quiet street, you pet will feel right at home here. I work from home every day aside from Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a lenient job that I can walk away from when needed. I can take the dog out at any time of day, and have a long lunch break for walks, and plenty of time in the evening for play. I've sat many pets in their own home, and have been able to learn how they behave in their own environment and adapt accordingly. Respecting people's spaces is a top priority, and I always make sure to leave a home exactly as I found it. I have a large home with plenty of outdoor space at the end of a quiet cul da sac. The back yard is secluded and very safe. We do not keep food out, and we make sure no plants that can harm animals ever enter the home. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with very few cars. Most all other dogs in the area have interacted with dogs we have babysat, and are very friendly and well trained.
About: Feeding, entertaining, and walking pets. Friends and family have trusted me in caring for their pets like my own when needed. I have had pets of all kinds growing up and have a passion for caring for dogs, cats and small animals such as guinea pigs. I currently work full time Monday through Thursday in the human services field as a case manager. My schedule is flexible and I am available every weekend. I currently have two cats who are my best friends. I have grown up around dogs and have dog sat for many years for friends and family. Walking and pop ins are the best part of my day.
About: My dog passed away at age 18 and my family decided that we are not going to get another one. Being able to care for other people's dogs will be a joy. I am not good about updating my calendar. Reach out if you need care for your pet and if I am available, I will be happy to help! I am currently semi-retired and working part-time with a lot of flexibility in days and hours. Dog walking or pop in care will work for me. I won't be able to do any frequent regular visits as my schedule changes weekly. I am used to walking dogs and having dogs that are crate trained. Whatever your routine is, I can help to be consistent in training and care.
About: Dogs have and will always be a huge part of my life. We got our first family dog when I was just 3 years old and the rest is history. My husband Jack is extremely passionate about animals as well and is my partner in all of this so you get two dog sitters for the price of one. Between the two of us your pet will get so much love, cuddles & exercise. We guarantee a level of attention and care that I feel confident your pet won’t get anywhere else; between this and Rover taking it’s fee our prices might be on the high side but they reflect our level of personalized and professional level of care. I also just want to add that our love for dogs extends to all animals so cats etc are all welcome to come hang with us :) Important Note: if you are reaching out for house sitting my husband and I only take those if we both are allowed to stay the night. We prefer to do this for safety as well as enabling the best care possible for your pet. Your pets will be my top priority & my main focus when they stay with us! I feel pretty confident that they will get more quality time, attention & lovin with me then any other pet sitter! I have a smoke free home and do not have any dogs currently living at my house so your pets will be my only focus! Also a child free home!

Everything we sent with Stella was returned and in good condition. Stella came home happy and well adjusted. It was a great play haven for Stella. We will definitely use Allison again.”

“Austin has excellent communication, very flexible with scheduling. Immediately setup a time prior to the appointment to have a meet and greet. Walter had an absolute fabulous time with Austin! Kept us up to date with how things were going, with videos, pictures, and messaging. Highly recommended Austin! 10/10 will book again!”

“Morgan was super helpful when I needed a sitter on my road trip! She was so good with Molly and helped out extra since Molly wasn’t feeling the best on my trip and eating irregularly”

“Dorothy was great - she and her family made Bruno feel very welcome and secure and kept us updated while we were away. He has a special diet and daily medication and she was great with giving that to him. Definitely will book again.”
“Patti is the absolute best! She’s very attentive and careful to give Wally the best care she can. She welcomes him like one of her own pets with lots of snuggles and walks and hanging out. I’m so glad I found her and Wally loves staying with her!”

“Best dogsitters ever! I cannot recommend them enough. Such a warm, welcoming, and caring family with a beautiful home and the perfect place for dogs. They took amazing care of our beloved pup—treating her like part of their own family. We felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in such loving hands. Truly grateful for the wonderful care they provided.”

“Katie and her family took wonderful care of our pup. We felt very comfortable leaving her in their care for the week and would definitely choose her to care for our dog again!”

“Everything went swimmingly. I had to extend the stay, which happened to work out, and Heidi was very accommodating. Walter the dog was very happy during the stay and treated Heidi with affection, knowing her for only a couple of days. Cheers.”

“Steve and his wife made us feel very comfortable about taking good care of our boys. We just moved to CT and they made us feel good about leaving our dogs with them. I needed to stop by their house a couple times before we left our dogs there and they totally accommodated and understand how I felt. I would recommend them to anyone because they truly cared for our dogs like we care for them!”
