About: I have been dog sitting since I was in middle school. Friends, family, friends of friend, and neighbors have trusted me with their furry family members. About: Have raised two labs, so can handle all age spans. Recently have done senior care for my own dog, who passed at the age of 16.5. I have dog sat for several friends and family members over the years and am comfortable with all of the things that come with it. I’m self employed with a very flexible schedule so your pups won’t be left alone for more than a couple of hours, if at all! Lots of snuggles guaranteed! (Or awkward stares from the other side of the couch exchanged if your pup is more that speed) I’ve stayed in houses with cats as well so I can do the basics with them but would definitely consider myself more experienced with dogs! Self employed working tuesday-thursday in the summer so I have lots of flexibility especially when planning ahead! Im an early riser so morning visits are no problem for me! Weekends will be a little harder but depending one need I can probably make it work! I will respect all the rules you have and not take any liberties (i.e. if they cant have a small bite of sandwich, I wont secretly give them a bite) My dog was crate trained so I’m very comfortable with that. I will prioritize your dog’s safety and comfort and am pretty good at taking signals from them. The two dogs I typically dogsit for are both large dogs that are scaredy cats and can only walk certain routes (they aren’t brothers, just an incredible coincidence lol.) I’m very comfortable advocating for your pups if they need space/can’t be around people and will remove them from stressful situations. I’ll give them plenty of attention and love if that’s what they want, but if they just want someone nearby I’ll give them their space. Pretty much every dog in my life has been a diva so I understand the fine lines they have sometimes!

I currently have a dog and a Russian tortoise, and have had pets ranging from 150lb Newfies to 5lb kittens, so I understand how different individual pets can be in their needs for safety and comfort, and I always strive to meet them where they're at. I’m experienced at administering a wide range of medications, providing special care for older or anxious pets, and reinforcing basic training routines. My background even includes caring for small animals like rodents and reptiles, so no creature is too big or too small to feel at home with me. I am available to care for pets during weekday business hours, Monday-Friday from 9-5. I can provide occasional weekend care in my home, but only for animals that are comfortable around small humans. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on creating a calm, safe, and loving environment. I follow each pet’s routine closely — from feeding and walks to playtime and cuddles — to help them feel secure and comfortable. About: I am a very flexible and understanding person. I have spent most of my life with animals. I own cats, a bunny, and a horse. I love and care for my pets, so I can assure you that I will love and care for your pet as well. I have 7 cats at home, a bunny, and I own a horse. I spend the majority of the time with animals. I play with them all the time and care for them. I make sure to feed my animals in the morning when I wake up and in the evening. We rescued him from a shelter in the south, and we have never left him with anyone because of his past issues of neglect and abuse. Kathy went above and beyond to make Bruno comfortable in her home. We were able to enjoy a much needed vacation with our two sons since we lost our oldest son to cancer two years ago. “In August, we adopted our 6-year-old rescue, Dwight, and were initially nervous about leaving him with someone new while we went on a family trip. Thankfully, we found Ann, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made! Ann cared for Dwight for 7 nights, and throughout that time, she kept us updated with daily photos, messages, and videos of Dwight cuddling, resting, and getting his walks in. Not only did Ann take amazing care of Dwight, but she also helped work on his leash manners, teaching him to walk more calmly by our side. Since we’ve been back, Dwight lights up every time she sees Ann when we go on our walks —it’s clear he adores her!
