About: I grew up on a farm, and always cared for multiple dogs at the same time. My wife and I have had, or cared for dogs almost all our adult lives. I enjoy caring for dogs and spending time walking with them, playing with them, and just being with them. I recently retired, and my wife works from home, so we’re both here all day. About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!

If your pup ever needs a quiet moment to decompress, I have a separate space for that too. I intentionally keep my guest list small so every dog gets plenty of individual attention. I also know how to read the room to make sure everyone feels comfortable and no one's overwhelmed. Your pup's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. 🌙 For stays longer than five nights, I do require a one-night trial stay beforehand. It gives your pup a chance to get comfortable in my home and helps ensure we're a great fit before a longer vacation.

About: I have been a true pet lover my entire life. Now I raise two daughters who feel the same way. There has never been an animal we did not love. I have been the one all of my friends and family always rely on to help walk, feed, bathe, and take care of their pets. I have a lot of energy so love being active and going on walks and hikes and running around with a dog. About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits…I love animals of all kinds. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. Then she adopted a puppy and I took care of him as well as trained him. I currently have 2 french bulldogs of my own. One is a hyper little puppy and the other is a calmer 5 year old. I love caring for pets whether they are my own or someone else’s. I currently work part time in home care until 2pm 4 days a week. I am available most afternoons. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I knew Molly was well cared for and happy (perhaps a bit too happy given her ambivalence to seeing me when I picked her up 🙂). I felt very comfortable leaving Molly with Jess and would certainly do so again. Jess was very responsive and sent me regular updates and pictures. I think Molly particularly enjoyed the freedom Jess allows the dogs in the house. For example, I sent Molly with her crate that she happily sleeps in at our home, but with Jess Molly just slept on the couch with the other dogs. Spoiled for sure!”
“Recently we lost one of our two dogs. We had a trip planned for only a couple weeks later and had to board our second dog alone for the first time. Gabe was an excellent choice and probably the most knowledgeable in training that we have had so far! He was communicative, responsible, and made us feel completely confident while we were gone! Definitely will be giving him a call again for our trips.”

“Thank you for looking after our dogs! Ling and Ye sent lots of photos of our two midsize labradoodles on walks and getting cuddles during their stay. And they came home calm and relaxed afterwards - a sign that they were happy while during their stay. Our dogs can get nervous around large male dogs, but their dog Brody (large labradoodle) is a gentle giant who immediately got on with our dogs, but also gave them their own space. We appreciate Ling and Ye's kindness towards our dogs!”
