We were so anxious over having to leave him with someone as he has had a tough time already in life with being born in a street in Texas, then having to stay in a shelter in a pen for almost three months to then being brought to Tennessee to a shelter where he was adopted by us. Then he had to take a long Trek to Connecticut in a semi trailer with 150 other dogs crated the whole trip where we picked him up. He is very anxious and not use to other people or animals. I must say Kyla was super great with Franklin. She did everything we had asked even down to the insane feeding ways we have. We left a long list with Kyla as if we were leaving a human child and she fulfilled each and every one and then some. She is a very caring, kind and loving animal sitter. Her house is super clean and a great environment for any pet. Her children are just the cutest and very helpful with the animals. They love animals and are very gentle with them which was so cute to see. Kyla was super great about sending daily pictures and updates to us about Franklin. She keeps things very professional and I will certainly recommend her to anyone who wants a home away from home for there pet while they vacation or work. We will definitely use her pet boarding services again.”

About: I grew up on a farm, and always cared for multiple dogs at the same time. My wife and I have had, or cared for dogs almost all our adult lives. I enjoy caring for dogs and spending time walking with them, playing with them, and just being with them. I recently retired, and my wife works from home, so we’re both here all day. I take daily walks, and spend a lot of time outdoors. I have a good-sized yard, live in a quiet neighborhood, and my property borders conservation land. About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! I have had dogs since I was a kid, 4 Newfoundlands, a Black Lab-Brittnay Spaniel mix, and I now have Charlie, a 9 yr old German Shepherd-Black Mouth Cur mix and Finn, a 1 yr old Heeler. Finn came to us as a puppy, so I have plenty of experience dealing with those puppy messes and temperaments. Most of our newfoundlands had hip problems near the end of their life, so I have no problem helping with senior dogs that need a little more care. I have also had multiple cats throughout my life and now have Luna, she is 11. Summer is here! If you need someone to check in on your dog while you take a day trip to the beach, I'm happy to stop in and spend time with your furry one. I have 2 boys that are in school, so I'd like to spend time during the day helping other pet parents. My flexible schedule gives me the ability to be available on short notice. I am willing to fit in weekend time, but just need a little heads up due to family activities. I am happy to walk and play with your pet while I visit. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I have children so I cannot work all weekend but i can be flexible and am open to them. I am open to walking your dogs in your neighborhood or wherever you prefer. I am also open to check ins and feeding dogs or cats. I will do my best to keep your routine with them if that is what you prefer. About: I have two rescue dogs of my own (one 6 years old and one 2 years old), and I love them more than anything. For both of my dogs, I have taken a big part in taking care of them and training them, especially over the summers when my parents have to go to work.
