About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

She kept me aprised of my dog Muskies daily routine, with daily written descriptions and photos and videos. She cared for my dog for 10 days and treated him as her own, following all my instructions to the letter. I have used two other sitters(not from Rover but though recommendations) and neither even came close to the care and bond that my dog received with Tomoe. She played with him, took him for walks and to the dog park where my dog could meet and play with other dogs . In addition to her care, the rest of her family were also fantastic and played with my dog until he was played out! She is highly educated in the ways of dogdom, and truly has a passion for her work as a dog sitter. About: I had 2 cats growing up and I currently take care of my mother’s bengal cat on a regular basis. I feed, groom, and maintain the litter box because my mother is unable to. About: I have have experience owning dogs from chihuahua size to vizsla size, and experience fostering/house sitting everything in between. I love dogs around here, and will be treated like family. Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.

About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’ve not lived a single day without having one or two dogs in my home. I have such a special place in my heart for dogs and no matter what kind how big, how mean, or nice it is I will make sure it is cared for and loved as much as it can be. I work part time at a nursing home in Medway, but my hours are not extremely long, and I have the flexibility to leave when needed to care for pets if they are located nearby. During the school year, I am a student at Bridgewater State University, so I will primarily be looking for pet care services in that area. My classes end no later than noon each day, which gives me plenty of availability in the afternoons and evenings, as well as in the mornings when needed before class. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like family. I love spending time with them, playing with them, and giving them plenty of attention to make sure they feel loved and not ignored. My dogs at home and I spend a lot of time on walks and hikes. I also have a fenced in backyard where they can safely run and play. I am very comfortable handling larger dogs on leash and can manage any that may pull. When I care for a pet at a client's home, I make sure they have everything they need while I am there, like fresh food and water. About: I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, rabbits…I love animals of all kinds. My mom became paralyzed and I walked and took care of her 2 senior dogs for about 8 years until they passed. I gave them oral medication, cooked their food, walked and groomed them. Then she adopted a puppy and I took care of him as well as trained him. I currently have 2 french bulldogs of my own. One is a hyper little puppy and the other is a calmer 5 year old. I love caring for pets whether they are my own or someone else’s. I currently work part time in home care until 2pm 4 days a week. I am available most afternoons. My schedule changes if a client is in the hospital and does not need care those days which gives me the flexibility to pick up more last minute walks or check ins. I have children so I cannot work all weekend but i can be flexible and am open to them. I am open to walking your dogs in your neighborhood or wherever you prefer. I am also open to check ins and feeding dogs or cats. I will do my best to keep your routine with them if that is what you prefer. I would like to know a little bit about them beforehand and any preferences or habits they have.

About: Hi! We’re Nicole & Ben, Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we genuinely love getting to know every pet’s unique personality. From growing up around animals to volunteering at a local animal shelter, we’ve had plenty of experience caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. We’d love the chance to spoil your pets with lots of attention, playtime, walks, and cuddles! We know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets with someone you trust, and we’ll treat them like they’re part of our own family while you’re away. We are young professionals with a highly flexible and hybrid work schedules. We can both work from home if needed and will have ample time to attend to your pets needs. Our home has a quiet indoor space for pets to relax, along with a first-floor patio with direct outdoor access, making it easy to get dogs outside for potty breaks and walks. We are happy to follow each pet’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime.
“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”
