It was very easy to set up a Meet & Greet, and Sammy and I both felt very comfortable playing together at a park as we got to know Tae and her doodle, Udon. After the daycare, I received a detailed report card with great pictures, and Sammy came home happy and tired. About: Ever since I can remember I’ve always had a dog to take care of. From being a child taking care of my childhood Labrador to raising a Yorkee -poodle all throughout my teenage years, I’ve always been accustomed to having a dog to care for. Since a young age I’ve felt an everlasting love to being around dogs and having them myself. More recently I’ve taken care of various puppies and elderly dogs that require special care, taking care of dogs and walking them is truly something that makes me happy. I am a full time student so my availability is always open throughout the week depending on the timing. Besides school, pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks is my main priority. Since I have taken care of countless dogs at my apartment, I am more than prepared with various toys, fences, and treats to ensure each pet receives the upmost care.

They really went the extra mile to make sure my pup was well taken care of. Banapsha was so kind to keep me updated every few hours with pictures and updates of Zeph. Zeph looked like he had a blast the entire time playing ball and tug. I'm definitely a bit of a helicopter mom when it comes to my pup and Banapsha was up to do a meet and greet beforehand so as to put me at ease since this was our first time together. She asked tons of questions and really took the time to take note of my pups quirks. I could really tell how much she absolutely loved pups and how well Zeph took to her when we met. “We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Maria and McAben! My husband and I were in Boston for work for a week and brought our three-year-old miniature dachshund, Enzo, along with us. Since we were staying in a hotel, we needed someone to care for him during the day for three consecutive days — and Maria and McAben were absolutely incredible. From the very start, they made us feel completely at ease. Leaving your dog with new people can be nerve-wracking, but we felt 100% confident and comfortable the entire time. Their apartment is welcoming and dog-friendly, and it was clear that Enzo was treated like part of the family. About: I absolutely love dogs, and while mine are at home back in California I would love to spend some time taking care of dogs in Boston. I have had dogs for my entire life and gotten to experience every aspect of caring for them. I have also gone through the process of training two guide dog puppies (basic behavior and becoming comfortable with different environments). I love to walk dogs and pet sit, with a lifetime of experience in both due to my own dogs! I am currently working remotely 9:30am-5:30pm. I can house sit during the day and walk dogs before 9:30am, during lunchtime, or after work! I am also available on weekends. About: I’ve grown up with dogs, both larger and active like my lab and smaller dogs like my chihuahua mix. I’ve dog watched before, usually two dogs at a time. I’ve had to give oral medication while pet sitting as well. I have classes from Monday through Thursday until 2pm. I can always do a walk or drop-in on those days, but I’d only be available for overnights Thursday-Saturday. I usually care with a respect to what the dog needs. Some dogs need to play, get on a lot of walks, get their energy out. Others need a companion while there family is gone and just need some cuddles. Some are a mixture of both. I make sure to respect what the client requests, the dog’s basic needs, and the dog personality for care.

About: I’ve been caring for pets and animals since as far back as I can remember! Once I got my very own pets (a dog and two cats) outside of my family home, it became a whole new world of understanding what it takes to train and care for fur babies. My sweet Aussie, Poppy, like most, is high-energy and anxious, but getting her at just 8 weeks old gave me the opportunity to dive into the world of dog behaviorism and training. She has come leaps and bounds from the over-excited, reactive pup she was, and the work that goes into helping a dog feel more calm and confident in the world means a lot to me. I've worked with dog trainers and have researched for countless hours to understand how and why dogs and cats behave the way they do to give my own the best lives possible, and I would love to take the same care with your own fur baby! I have a flexible WFH schedule on Mondays and Thursdays, as well as weekend availability, that gives me the opportunity to fit in extra walks / visits with new fur babies! I'm comfortable administering medication, crating dogs, cleaning litter boxes, etc. as needed! If it has to do with the day-to-day for cats or dogs, it's all good with me! I do appreciate detailed instructions to make sure that I take the best possible care to follow the routines you already have in place with your pets :)
