He accepted our request last minute and was incredibly understanding of my situation. From the beginning, he genuinely wanted to help, which meant so much to me. Ruben was so kind and even offered to show me his place beforehand and clearly explain how everything works while he dog sits. He communicated so well throughout Tsuki’s 3 day stay and consistently gave me updates, which gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was in good hands. One moment that really stood out to me was on the 3rd day when I realized I had forgotten to pack Tsuki’s food. I was already feeling stressed and overwhelmed, and Ruben immediately offered to feed her rice and chicken. It may seem like a small thing, but it genuinely meant so much to me in that moment and really showed me how willing he was to help and make sure Tsuki was taken care of. You can genuinely tell that Ruben cares about the dogs he watches. The way he talks about them and the way he gives updates felt so genuine. You can tell that he really takes the time to get to know each dog, pays attention to their needs, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy. It was clear to me that his care for Tsuki wasn’t just because she was staying with him it’s genuinely how he treats the dogs he dog sits for. Ruben is such a great guy with a kind heart and a really good attitude. I’m incredibly grateful for the care and support he gave Tsuki and for how reassuring he was throughout her 3 day stay. About: We are the proud owners of an adorable dog (Ace) and are adept with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Everyone in the house (Micah and I) work from home full-time, so the dogs will never be left alone. Ace is always great host and will have a lot of fun with his new furry friend 😊 Ace (a miniature poodle / Bishon mix) can mingle with any visitors but can be separated upon request. Please bring dog beds and food. We can’t wait to host your little friend! We work from home full time and plenty the time to dedicate to watching and playing with the pups! Morning walks, afternoon potty breaks, whatever the dogs needs are will be met. Fenced in backyard and large park across the street for long walks. Perfect environment for your dogs staycation! About: As experienced dog sitter, I’ve discovered that taking care of other people’s dogs has become a beloved hobby. Unfortunately, we can’t have a dog of our own right now, but that makes looking after other’s dogs all the more special. I recently moved from Amsterdam to Chicago. About: I do take up to 4 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: I grew up with cats and have taken care of them my whole life, and I am now a full-time pet sitter! I have lived with dogs and done some care for them as well. I currently have a rabbit, rats, a frog, a gecko, and a jeweled lacerta, so I'm well-versed in pet care and in balancing multiple pets' needs! I am also experienced giving meds to rats, frogs, dogs, and cats, as well as caring for rabbits. About: I have taken care of friends and clients dogs. The longest I watched a dog was 2 weeks. She is an Australian Shepherd and Boxer mix (high energy and very smart). Others breads I have taken care of are Doberman, Labradoodle, French Bulldog, Pit Bull, and Bulldog. Long walks and playtime are no biggie! Just a note, my household is just me and my boyfriend. I wake up at 6:30-7am, go on a walk, breakfast, play time, snack, nap (if needed, walk or play, relax, and dinner. I adjust to the needs of the dog, especially with physical activity. I am comfortable with high energy and low energy dogs. They will get a lot of love and encouragement the whole time. I live in a condo in a 12 story building. It is a dog friendly building with fenced in a play area. It is small but an easier way for any dog that needs to be let out. There are a couple of dog parks to walk to but can avoid and just walk if that is more comfortable for them.

He's clearly a dog lover and took Ona in as family, and his dog Hopper seemed to really enjoy having a buddy around to play with. Ona has some separation anxiety and had some issues for the first half of the trip and Cody was excellent in his communication about her issues and coordinating with me to get them taken care of.
