Another plus is there were 4-5 large dogs for Osborne to play with in Amanda's fenced in backyard so he came home happily exhausted. Amanda was extremely flexible in drop off/pick up times which was greatly appreciated as we were heading out of town for the weekend. She also carefully monitored his food so he only ate his food and didn't sneak other dog food and get an upset stomach. Highly recommend Amanda!”

I am capable of basic grooming, including nails. The Tibetan Spaniel listed on my profile is actually my daughter's dog and he is only at my home during college breaks, otherwise, they are in Ohio the rest of the year Think of your dog's stay at my house as a vacation at Grandma's. Your dog will be spoiled to the extent that YOU allow (and maybe a tennsy bit more). 😉 I mostly work from home with occasional short stints in a workplace and a very flexible schedule. I can be home at any time to ensure that dogs can potty, get playtime, etc. I never work on the weekends. I have a half acre of flat, safe, fenced in yard with grass and gardens. About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.

About: I've had dogs since the day I was born, and responsibly started taking care of them since I was around 10 years old. I've taken care of dogs from 8 weeks old to 16 years. As an adult, I've had 2 dogs and have cared for them in their crazy puppyhood to more gentle yet demanding senior care. As your dog sitter, I can provide enrichment via walks, playing, and basic tricks and skills you want me to work on with your dog. I can feed and refresh water bowls. I can help with medication if needed. I am happy to care for any of your pets' needs during a visit. I treat my all of my pets like my children and I am so excited to start caring for yours! I am a teacher currently on summer vacation. I am free to work during the week and some weekends from around 11-3 for drop in visits or walks. Once the school year starts back up, I may be available during holiday breaks and some weekends. Expect thorough reports and cute photos after a sitting or walk. As a regular user of Rover services myself, I know what I like and want from my sitters, so I will put that into my work. About: I have lived with dogs my entire life. I began playing a role in walking, and feeding/filling water for my dogs since I was 12. I have also watched my friend’s dogs before by stopping in a few times a day to feed them and give them love! I’m currently working a part-time job, most of the time I work day or night shifts so I do a lot of pet care in between my shifts or on the weekends. At home we use an electric fence for our animals but for others I accompany them outside on leashes. My cat does not do well with other cats without meeting/getting used to them over a period of time.

About: I have been the main caretaker of any animal I’ve ever had, some because I was the one who begged for it. And others because I just love animals so much that their care is only half the fun. I have experience with animals in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. My puppy experience ranges from being the one who nursing a parvo puppy back to excellent health, she is now 3 years old and thriving. I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. I also have a lot experience with teaching many tricks so don’t be surprised if your animal learns something new every time they see me! I work from home and have only two courses a day, so I have a lot of time on my hands to do a good pet care routine. My babies (my cats and hermit crabs) are on a routine or rather I am. We do feedings in the morning and have an hour of down time for everyone to “stretch” their legs before I go to class. I’m away for 3 hours before I’m back and during that time I can walk a dog if one is staying. And then I work from home so pretty much I’m at the animals beck and call whenever they need anything. I am in an apartment which lessens the risk of anything happening to your pet on my watch! Also with living in an apartment by campus we can always go for walks and meet some college students wanting some animal love!

We have a friendly 3 year old mixed breed dog we rescuced from a no kill shelter a couple years ago. She is super friendly, well trained and absolutely loves other dogs. We also have a cat who is great with dogs. Our home has a fenced in yard which allows us to play outside daily. Both of our pets are family and get daily enrichment and play.

“Jessica took care of my dog Iommi for a long weekend while I traveled out of state for my brother's wedding. It was my first time leaving Iommi and Jessica was the perfect person to leave her with. “Amanda spoiled our dog all weekend! Played catch and cuddled and let him take a nap in her lap (he's almost 100 lbs so that was above and beyond the call of duty)! Another plus is there were 4-5 large dogs for Osborne to play with in Amanda's fenced in backyard so he came home happily exhausted. Amanda was extremely flexible in drop off/pick up times which was greatly appreciated as we were heading out of town for the weekend. She also carefully monitored his food so he only ate his food and didn't sneak other dog food and get an upset stomach. Highly recommend Amanda!”
