Charles has cared for Bentley many times over the past 8 years before he started using Rover, so I already knew he was fantastic! The house is always very clean, organized and safe for pets. Charles is so very easy to work with, responds really quickly, and makes sure Bentley is safe and happy. He truly seems to love caring for dogs, and he is just a genuinely good person overall. Bentley is a senior dog now, but he doesn't have any unique needs. However, it really makes me happy to know that Charles has so much experience in dealing with aging pets. I know that one day Bentley may be on medications, develop cataracts or start losing his hearing. It is great to know that I will have a very special place for him that will truly cater to whatever needs arise. Charles has so much patience for blind dogs, especially. I know he goes the extra mile for all dogs, but especially the blind ones. What he has done to help his blind dog since he rescued her several years ago is hands-down amazing. I can tell she has blossomed in his care, and I know he does the same for all the dogs he takes into his home. I could write so much more here about Charles and the family, but for the sake of brevity, let me just say they are the BEST you can get! 5+ stars doesn't even begin to say it all. About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! We both work fully remote jobs and therefore can give your fur-baby all the attention they may need! We always aim to go out at least 4 times a day, but can adhere to your pet’s specific schedule. We offer flexible boarding availability throughout the week and weekends. For any weekend bookings, we do ask that your pet be comfortable being alone for at least a couple of hours since there may be instances where we will be out of the house running errands. While we don’t currently have any pets of our own, our pet-friendly apartment will cater to your furry friend’s comfort. We live on the Beltline making it the perfect setting for long walks or quick potty breaks. We’re more than happy to accommodate your pet’s needs, whether it is crating them or something else.

I have a large fenced in dog park at my apartment which is super convenient for frequent play time, and I respect everyone’s concerns by not allowing your pup in this space if other dogs are present. I can easily crate your pup if I am not going to be home. More than anything, I am willing to learn about the needs of both you and your pup to keep them safe during their stay and to keep you at ease.

About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. I like to keep a regular routine for them every day, including dedicated playtime and treat time. I also often buy them new toys and talk to them about my day, even though they may not fully understand.

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was little--from a pet pig, dog, and sphinx cat-- in addition to the one I have now.
