Jock's time with Zosimo and his partner looked so amazing that I was almost jealous. They went for walks in parks, played with his ball in the yard, he got to chase chipmunks and squirrels and looked so happy when I picked him up. The only fixed commitment I have is an evening class on Mondays and Wednesdays, so intakes those nights may need to happen earlier in the day, late that night, or the next morning. My cat Salem is a 2-year-old long-haired cat who started out super shy and nervous, and now she’s turned into the sweetest little purring machine who never leaves our side. About: I have had two dogs and one cat: an 11-year-old Bichon Frise, a Chihuahua who passed away at 17, and a cat who is now four and a half years old. I got my first dog when I was 11 years old, and from then on, I spent all of my allowance on my pets’ spay/neuter surgeries, routine checkups, treats, and supplements. I have an unusual amount of patience when it comes to animals, because I grew up in a family that truly loves them. I also have a lot of experience caring for very young pets under two months old, as well as experience being around large dogs. My work schedule is three days in the office and two days remote, so I have plenty of time to do the part time job during the week. When I take care of pets, I focus not only on their physical needs, but also on making sure they feel emotionally cared for. I like to keep a regular routine for them every day, including dedicated playtime and treat time. I also often buy them new toys and talk to them about my day, even though they may not fully understand.

We currently work from home on the days we offer pet care, which means your pets are never left unattended or rushed. Because of this flexibility, time is never an issue. We are able to fully focus on each pet’s needs throughout the day rather than fitting care around a busy schedule. Our day already revolves around our dog Max’s structured walk and care routine, so caring for other pets fits in naturally. This allows for multiple walks, regular potty breaks, playtime, enrichment, feeding on schedule, and plenty of attention. Our home is clean and free of clutter, providing a safe and comfortable space for pets. We have a secure, fenced balcony for fresh air and supervised time, and we share our home with a small Australian Shepherd who is friendly and well cared for. With plenty of space and constant supervision, pets can relax, play, and feel right at home.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember—cats, and a very energetic Dalmatian who definitely kept life interesting. My love for pet care started early, and I began pet sitting around age 12 for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Since then, I’ve never really stopped. I’ve either had cats or dogs in my home my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am.
