When I saw how happy and just overall well kept my dog hootie was when I came to pick him up , I knew I made the best decision on who to pick to take care of my dog. Erik too my dog hootie out for long walks everyday, which is one of my dogs favorite activities besides playing, or fetching tree branches. Overall, I can honestly say that Erik provided my dog the best care. I wish I had baby sitters for my kids when they were young that would have been as great as Erik was with my dog. My big 185 lb Boy Hootie even looked like he went to the groomer’s when I picked him up. Erik really showed me that he really has that love for animals and I’m so happy we were able to experience such great care for my mastiff. About: I’ve always loved animals and am comfortable petsitting all kinds of pets! With my volunteer experience at an animal shelter, I am also comfortable administering topical and oral medication, if necessary. I work full time, but am available to drop by in the mornings, after work in the late afternoon, and in the evenings. Can do weekends as well! I have base access so pet sitting on base is not an issue! When pet sitting, I obviously always prioritize keeping the water full and giving pets the appropriate amount of food. Making sure the environment is clean is a big one - like ensuring any accidents are cleaned up.

About: I've been taking care of animals ever since I was young, from hamsters to fish to dogs and more. I've managed both calm and trouble making animals and have experience dealing with the full age range of pets due to my personal experience as a dog owner, and from my time volunteering as a foster home for dog shelters. I'm currently working part-time, and so I have an incredibly flexible schedule. I'm available for just about hour of day for any period of time. Taking care of animals has been my weekly norm since I was a kid, so it's just what I'm used to. About: I work from home through the week and have a black Labrador retriever at home to keep your pets company! I have a fenced in backyard (although it’s small I am able to take animals out frequently through the day). I am also able to take animals on walks/runs in the day as I take mine on a 2 mile walk every day in the mornings before it gets too hot I work from home through the week and I rarely travel on the weekends. Although my job can be demanding at times, I will always have a couple of minutes to let the animals out into the yard, and I have lunch hours to walk dogs when necessary! I have to e upstairs sectioned off and I work downstairs as well so I will always have eyes on your babies. I have a larger crate in the living room and can separate my dog from your animals if needed for feedings etc. We have a spare bedroom that can be for your animal if they prefer to sleep alone and away from other dogs. I will always be able to provide photos, and can even send videos or video call if you need to lay eyes on your baby at any point!

“Dakota was absolutely amazing! Her whole family made my puppy's first time away from us so smooth. I got plenty of pictures and videos while I was gone, and I could tell he was having a great time with them and their sweet dog. I highly recommend her for your pup. I had no fear leaving Kirk with her after our meet and greet because I could tell she would make sure my pup is very well cared for and loved. Zero complaints. Dakota is awesome!”
“Erik totally exceeded my expectations in every way. When I saw how happy and just overall well kept my dog hootie was when I came to pick him up , I knew I made the best decision on who to pick to take care of my dog. Erik too my dog hootie out for long walks everyday, which is one of my dogs favorite activities besides playing, or fetching tree branches. Overall, I can honestly say that Erik provided my dog the best care. I wish I had baby sitters for my kids when they were young that would have been as great as Erik was with my dog. My big 185 lb Boy Hootie even looked like he went to the groomer’s when I picked him up. Erik really showed me that he really has that love for animals and I’m so happy we were able to experience such great care for my mastiff. I would definitely recommend Erik, especially if you have trust issues. Erik definitely knocked down that wall of “fear” I had with leaving my dog with anyone. Such a super great , respectful young man. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give Erik 10+ ⭐️ ‘s . I will definitely be utilizing his services again.”

“Alexandra and crew (people, cats and a dog) were so welcoming that our two aussies were soon happy with their doggie vacation. They had very much built-in play time with the resident dog, and bonded with humans and animals alike in ways we'd not heard of from new contacts since Misty was a puppy (seriously, the pics and descriptions indicated a level of ease, happiness and playfulness we see with them at home). At pick-up time, they were glad to have us visit, but didn't seem completely ready to leave, We cannot imagine a better experience for our pups. If we manage to come to Miramar Beach again, we will definitely try Alexandra again.”
