About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time! It is my goal to at least work part time on top of another part time job! :) I have an apartment where I can keep pets for a short amount of time; we have a nice walking area and a dog park.

You can tell she puts a lot of love and effort into making sure your pets are cared for. I never felt anxious or stressed knowing my two cats were being watched by her. Both of my cats ended up cuddling with her and absolutely loving her. And they don’t cuddle just anyone!! She sent a good amount of detailed updates with adorable photos of my cats. She even went out of her way to wash her own bedsheets and towels and she took out the trash without me even asking her to do that! About: I've had a special place in my heart for dogs since I was a kid. I was the designated puppy trainer, groomer, and bestie for our family pups growing up. I have my own sweet mini labradoodle, Lainey, who loves company! I've helped with family and friends' pets my whole life, and I'm excited to have a new schedule these days that allows me to help out pet parents on Rover. I currently study from home, so I have plenty of time for your pup! I don't have any obligations away from home, so if your pup needs a little extra attention, feel free to say so, and I'll accommodate the best I can. I have a roomy apartment and a screened-in porch. When we're not on walks or at the park, my pup loves hanging out on the porch with the fans on for some fresh air (door to the inside kept cracked open). My apartment is toddler-proofed and safe, and I'm always around to keep an eye on your pup. We have plenty of chew toys, treats, and fun to go around :)
“Crysta was AMAZING!! I had a unique request: help me get my three dogs to my wedding. Our dogs are a very big part of our lives and we knew our wedding wouldn’t be complete without them. We’ve always dreamed that at our wedding we would be surrounded by our family and friends and our dogs are the most important members of our family. Crysta made our wedding complete! She stepped in when no one else could and accepted the request without hesitation. I scheduled a meet and greet just to make sure she got to meet them first and we talked through our wedding timeline. I asked Crysta to be at our Airbnb for 4 pm, let them have a quick potty break, and take them about 15 minutes down the road to our venue, wait while we take some family photos with the pups, then bring them back to our Airbnb. Let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations TREMENDOUSLY!! She arrived out our house around 3:30, let them have a longer potty break than I asked for, and made it to my venue ONE WHOLE HOUR before the wedding started. She went above and beyond to make sure my dogs were cared for and got to and from the venue safely. I’m not from Destin, I was just in town for the wedding from Houston, but whenever I am back in town and need help with our dogs, she will be the FIRST person I call. She was so kind and friendly and she treated our dogs like they were her own. Words cannot describe how happy I am that I found Crysta. I think my dogs were just as happy, they loved her!! She sent me some cute pics too. Thank you so much Crysta!! You made our dream come true! ♥️”

“Aurora was awesome! We didn’t worry about our two boys at all with her watching them while we went snorkeling. 1. She came to pick up our boys at 7am at our hotel. She was on time even though it was really early. She even had an impact crate in her car in case of bad/crazy drivers. 2. She sent us very detailed updates including pictures, number of water breaks, and potty breaks. 3. She brought our boys back to the hotel twice! We missed her the first time, our fault, but she was super sweet about it. 4. Our boys came back looking happy and tired! Their step counter logged crazy numbers! Thank you Aurora! Then Jameson and Christopher happened… and I got converted. 😂🐾 Now I research dog behavior, work on training and commands, and probably get way too excited when they listen and learn something new. About: I was raised on a farm in the countryside. We had cats and dogs among other animals. Many of these I claimed as pets. I've owned several dogs in my lifetime and into their older years and currently have two cats which they think they're human. These little animals are part of our families. This makes them of great importance and priority. Their care should be taken just as seriously as each other. Listening to their needs and watching their habits they communicate. I take great care listening to the sounds and movement of a pet to discern what they are trying to communicate that they need. Flexibility is important when it comes to pet sitting. About: Growing up, my grandparents had 5 dogs and 9 cats - needless to say their house was my favorite place in the world. I have experience with both large and small dogs. I fostered kittens and puppies all throughout college, so I have experience with younger animals as well. I currently have 2 cats of my own. I work during the week M-Th, so I am currently available on the weekends and some holidays. I would also be open to drop-ins some mornings and evenings. I will love your pet like my own! When caring for pets in your home, I am also happy to complete other tasks as needed while you are away (watering houseplants, bringing in the mail, etc.).

About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time! About: All my life, I thought I was a cat person. Then Jameson and Christopher happened… and I got converted. 😂🐾 Now I research dog behavior, work on training and commands, and probably get way too excited when they listen and learn something new. I’m patient, very hands-on, and affectionate. I believe structure and consistency are the key to almost everything. I also have two tweens who help care for our dogs and absolutely love having another furry friend around to play with and give attention to. With me, your dog gets walks, playtime, attention, treats (with your permission!), belly rubs, and people who genuinely enjoy having dogs around. And because I speak English and Spanish, my dogs are bilingual. 😂 So there’s a small chance yours goes home knowing a little Spanish too. 😉🐾 I’m a full-time mom, and I homeschool my two boys, which means my schedule is flexible, intentional, and home-centered. Daily walks, playtime, feeding schedules, training, and supervision are part of my normal rhythm. Routine and reliability matter in my household. Pets are supervised, engaged, and treated like family, not left alone for long stretches. I care for pets the same way I care for my own kids: with routine, attention, and respect. I stick closely to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and home rules. While I don’t have a patio, we’re five minutes from the dog park and can take daily walks to nearby nature spots.
