Jewel stayed with Cece for nearly two weeks, and from day one, she treated her like one of her own. Jewel takes daily medication, follows a strict diet due to food allergies, and she's very nervous around other dogs. Cece took every precaution to keep her safe, made sure she received her medication, and patiently helped her become comfortable in her new environment. Jewel arrived afraid of dogs and left with a group of new friends. One of the things I appreciated most was the constant communication. Cece sent photos and videos every day, which helped ease my worries and allowed me to actually enjoy my vacation knowing Jewel was being so well cared for. My only wish is that Cece lived closer to our home in Indiana because I would take Jewel to her regularly without hesitation. Finding someone who provides this level of care, communication, structure, and genuine love for your dog is incredibly rare. About: I have owned 2 dogs of my own, as well as sitting for many friends and family. My very first job at 10 years old was requested by my neighbors to watch their dogs while they were away. I have experience with all ages, including senior dogs, as my own both required a lot of hands on care in their golden year, including bi-weekly fluids, medications and special diets. I work part-time, sometimes in the morning to late-afternoon or late-afternoon to evening, usually 4 days a week. This schedule is not the same every week but I usually know 2 weeks ahead of time. There is someone home everyday after 5pm and all day Friday-Sunday as well. I have a townhouse with a fenced in yard. No ability to crate at the moment but plenty of space to crate if one can be provided. There are currently no other animals in my house, as my Biscuit cross the rainbow bridge last year. Both people in the home have owned pets, and have experience with care. Someone is home most of the time, minimal hours alone if any. Weekends will have someone home all day. House has step that can easily be blocked off by a gate if needed.

He had the best time with them and came home happy, loved, and clearly convinced he had been on his own little vacation. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in their care, and Frankie would absolutely pack his tiny imaginary suitcase to go back again. Highly recommend! “Ashley is absolutely incredible. I have a very high energy dog and she takes Willow with her on her evening runs. I know my baby is well exercised, entertained, and so so happy to be with her and Zoey. Ashley has great communication and always goes the extra mile with Willow’s care. Not everyone is equipped to handle a lab shepherd husky mix due to their never-ending energy and speed, but I know that Willow is in the best of care when she stays with Ashley Willow comes home tired and happy. It’s the best combo!!! I’ve booked with Ashley many times in the past and will do so over and over again.”
“Tahrena was such a blessing for us and our puppy Woody on a recent stay. We actually had another sitter booked for Woody for 9 nights while we went out of town for Thanksgiving but of course the morning we were supposed to drop him off (and they day before our flights), he woke up sick with some GI issues. A trip to the vet later it was confirmed he had an intestinal parasite and was sent home with 4 different medications. Our original sitter was understandably not comfortable taking him and cancelled the booking leaving us just hours to find an alternative. Between phone calls to boarding facilities and messages to sitters on Rover, my husband and I must have reached out to over a dozen different people before we finally reached Tahrena! The true mark of an animal lover is someone with the compassion to love and care for a sick animal in need. With very few questions asked she accepted the booking - sick puppy, multiple medications and all! I hated leaving him sick but she was so warm and loving from the start. I knew he was in good hands and my family and I were able to enjoy our trip without worry or concern that he wasn't beeing loved on and taken care of while we were away. We got regular updates throughout his stay and would absolutely book with Tahrena again. Nothing beats having a go-to sitter you know you can depend on! Thank you again Tahrena (and family)!!”
