About: I have taken care of cats since I was about 10 years old. I had two cats at the time and I was in charge of feeding and changing their litter at least twice a day. Once I lived on my own I got my own cat, Felix, then a few years later another cat, Grizwold. Having a nice clean area for the cats has always been a priority for me. About: Hello! My name is Fidencio, (my family calls me John, and you can too). I am 32 years old and have a long history of caring for dogs in my family. In 2005, my Father rescued a puppy from war torn Iraq. He fell in love with Target, our Iraqi dog, while he was deployed there. I remember my dad calling my mom, begging her to please find a way to get Target home, to California, over 7000 miles away. We went to work as a family finding any possible way to get our small puppy back home. Long story short, because we love animals, we got Target shipped to LAX. Target was what we considered an animal refugee. I remember going on the drive to LAX as a 5th grader to go pick up Target, when I first saw him he was scared, being shipped across the globe and being separated from his owner on the journey. But as soon as we got in the car we broke the crate open, we instantly all fell in love. Dedication to protecting a caring for animals is something that runs deep for me. About: My headline is probably my most asked question anywhere I go lol. My family has had a multitude of different pets over the years, so I actually know how to care for a lot of animals including an African bullfrog if you can believe that. I've also been house sitting/dog sitting for friends and family for years. I'm also really good with cautious dogs, I know how to make a dog who doesn't like strangers warm up to me. It might take a little while but eventually they love me. As far as walks go I love walks and who better to do it with than a dog? But I'm also conscientious of heat, where to walk on hot days so their paws don't burn and water for us to drink. I have a decent amount of control of my work time. So I am able to take breaks when needed to take animals for quick walks, playtime, and of course potty breaks. My goal is not to leave animals without these types of interactions for more than 5 hours at a time. Of course for special needs animals and puppies this can be appropriately adjusted. I strive to keep animals at ease by keeping their normal routine. So I often ask about what the animals normal day looks like and plan accordingly.

About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with several pets, primarily Golden Retrievers, and had the privilege of helping raise two litters of puppies. “Angelica was absolutely amazing! This was our first time ever using Rover, and I was honestly nervous about leaving Koda with someone new. She took the time to allow us to come to her house first so Koda could meet her and get comfortable. She was so kind, patient, and never rushed him, letting him explore and warm up at his own pace. Throughout the entire 4-day stay, she kept us updated with plenty of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was obvious Koda was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. When we picked him up, he was happy and relaxed, and it was clear he had been treated like part of the family. If you’re a doodle owner, you know how anxious they can be. Koda had zero accidents the entire time, which says so much about how comfortable and cared for he felt. That alone meant the world to us. I truly can’t recommend Angelica enough. As long as she’s available, I won’t be using anyone else to watch Koda. Thank you, Angelica (and sweet Milly!) for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”
