“Our dog, Stan, does not easily warm up to people outside our family. We adopted him when he was 8 weeks old, and while he is well-socialized with other dogs, he remains very timid around new people. Before boarding Stan with Kimmy and Jesse, we had used the same sitter on two separate occasions, each for a week. During those stays, Stan always hid under her coffee table and never let her get close to him. However, with Kimmy and Jesse, the experience was completely different. On day four, Kimmy sent us pictures of herself petting Stan—a huge milestone for him. By day five, she was even able to take him on a walk around the neighborhood. Day by day, Stan grew more comfortable in their care. Seeing our timid dog so well cared for made us incredibly happy! We couldn’t have asked for a more caring couple or a more loving environment to board Stan. We are so grateful and look forward to boarding him with them on our upcoming spring break!”

About: Before my current employment I worked at a pet boarding facility that included cats for over 4 years. Additionally, I have 3 of my own cats that I raised since they were kittens. I have tons of experience handling cats with all different kinds of temperaments and personalities. I also have experience administering medications. About: I have grown up around dogs my whole life. I am well-versed in walking large and stubborn dogs such as Newfoundlands and Great Pyrenees. I have been a parent to Wells, a very high-energy Vizsla, for 5 years now. We did all our training ourselves and successfully trained a great loose-leash walker. I am eager to help other dogs learn this skill as well! I am working locums, so I am gone for 4 days twice a month and otherwise home and available the rest of the month. Open for walks and visits all day! If your dog is open to a play date, I have a very friendly, high-energy dog that would love to get his zoomies out with your pup. I really appreciate their flexibility in the duration of the daycare as I offer ram my estimated time to pick up Lacey. Right from the start, Rudi socialized Lacey with Rex, his Labrador with a brief two-tether walk. Provided periodic updates, pictures included, letting me know all was going well and putting me at ease. While she was there, Lacey had plenty of playtime with Rex, and slept longer into the next morning than she had before. Also fed Lacey her dinner (since I ran late), and took Lacey on a nice walk. Overall a wonderful experience for Lacey, as well as for me, as this was our very first “Rover experience”. Definitely recommend, and I will rebook if/when the next trip to the area happens.”

About: We have a standard poodle Joki - who joined us in 2020 from a breeder. Joki is well trained and behave very well with other animals and people. I’m currently work from home so I am able to take care of pers all day during the day and provide multiple potty breaks as need. We have fenced front and back yard available for dogs to play and break. We can offer a fence if two dogs need to be kept separate.

About: I'm open to most types of pet sitting and have a hybrid work approach so more often than not am able to stay for the majority of the day with your furry child! I love walking in general, playing with dogs, cats, and appreciate that every pet has their own personality. About: I’ve grown up with Labrador Retrievers my whole life and got my very first puppy when I was 15. More recently, I brought home a French Bulldog, and it’s been such a joy watching him grow from a tiny puppy into the sweet, fun 1-year-old he is now! Having pets has always been a big part of my life, and I truly love caring for them I work from home so I am usually pretty available! I do have a lot of virtual calls so I cannot usually do last minute walks but can plan around my day! I am completely free after 3:30 PM everyday. “Our dog, Stan, does not easily warm up to people outside our family. We adopted him when he was 8 weeks old, and while he is well-socialized with other dogs, he remains very timid around new people. Before boarding Stan with Kimmy and Jesse, we had used the same sitter on two separate occasions, each for a week. During those stays, Stan always hid under her coffee table and never let her get close to him. However, with Kimmy and Jesse, the experience was completely different. On day four, Kimmy sent us pictures of herself petting Stan—a huge milestone for him. By day five, she was even able to take him on a walk around the neighborhood. Day by day, Stan grew more comfortable in their care. Seeing our timid dog so well cared for made us incredibly happy! We couldn’t have asked for a more caring couple or a more loving environment to board Stan. We are so grateful and look forward to boarding him with them on our upcoming spring break!”

Leo sent many photos of our pups each day of our trip, along with updates on how they were adjusting to their new surroundings and how they were eating.
