This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. “Cassandra was amazing! She watched my high-energy GSP mix puppy at her house for 6 nights and Piper came home happy and tired! Despite our trip putting us in a different time zone with limited service, Cassandra kept us updated on how Piper was doing and sent lots of pictures. When Piper got too adventurous outside and found herself with a bug bite that caused some swelling in her face, Cassandra let us know right away and went through lengths to get in touch with our vet and her own vet to treat with Benadryl. I felt like Piper was loved and taken care of the whole time! Would recommend Cassandra to anyone, but especially those with pups who need to be played with and exercised to burn off energy!”
About: I have been taking care of 72 greyhounds for 5 years, its my passion. All animals love me. I also know how to clip nails, give great baths and love to play and take on walks! About: I have grown up always having a pet in the house so I very quickly found a love for animals, specifically dogs. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! I'm currently working part-time as well as attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham but I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! I will be providing services primarily in the mornings as that is what works best for my schedule. I will be available between the hours of 6am-11am. About: Growing up we always had dogs in our family. My Experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for friends and families. I love animals and have over a decade of experience in caring for dogs, cats, horses, mules, donkey's and pigs. Now I just have my two dogs but the are like our family. I have 5 years experience caring for elderly dog (my own) that needed special care and medications. I am currently not working any other jobs at this time and will have plenty of time to spend with you sweet fur baby or babies. I have a fenced in back yard with 2 of my own fur babies. I love spending time with them in the back yard, going for walks and playing fetch. I live close to a nature trail with a lake and love to take the dogs for walks there. We love that outside time. Inside I have room to play with toys and chill with your buddies.

About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I grew up with many dogs and started pet sitting for family members and friends once I was able to drive. I tend to bring pet treats (usually raw diet) and/or toys to soften the fur babies up so please let me know any dietary restrictions. About: I do not currently offer over night care! I have three years experience at an animal clinic, so I am very qualified to take care of your animal. I can take care of any type of dog, with any type of special need or just anything special you need done for your fur baby, you can be certain that your fur baby is getting all the love and attention they could ever dream of. There are no breed restrictions as long as they aren’t aggressive and don’t act out around other animals. I have 2 cats and 3dogs, they all get along well with other animals and are very playful. I am also very negotiable with prices and flexiable with days and hours. I am also available to take care of animals such a guinea pigs, bunnies and horses! I will work with you on prices ☺️ I have 6 animals in total so I am constantly taking care of animals! It’s nothing to add a few babies to the mix! About: I’m a surgical veterinarian assistant at a specialist Birmingham animal clinic. I have experience working with shelter and owner pets and have a cat of my own so I am extremely comfortable and confident caring for all types of animals including any with specific needs (senior/ medicated/ high energy/ puppies/ kittens/ etc.). During the week I am only available in the evenings after 5pm. On the weekends I have open availability and can come anytime to care for your fur baby. I would like to add that every month I have a week where I have open availability. For the Month of March: 23rd- 27th I’d be available any hour of the day and can go multiple times a day if needed, so don’t be afraid to reach out if that happens to line up with your schedule. :) I am constantly around animals, so I’m pretty good at reading their behavioral cues and knowing what they might need. I try to make sure they feel safe and comfortable, stick to their routines, and give them as much attention as I can. I prioritize instructions left and try my best to keep the space clean and stress free for the owners and the pet.
About: I loved having cats and dogs growing up and eventually started pet sitting for friends and loved it. Now I have 7 pets of my own and still love to give! I work part time and am available almost every afternoon during the week and Saturdays and all day Wednesdays to come love on your fur babies! My animals are possibly the most spoiled. We have a large fenced in yard, love giving our 2 dogs enrichment, and have plenty of cozy spots for all our cats and dogs.

This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. “Cassandra was amazing! She watched my high-energy GSP mix puppy at her house for 6 nights and Piper came home happy and tired! Despite our trip putting us in a different time zone with limited service, Cassandra kept us updated on how Piper was doing and sent lots of pictures. When Piper got too adventurous outside and found herself with a bug bite that caused some swelling in her face, Cassandra let us know right away and went through lengths to get in touch with our vet and her own vet to treat with Benadryl. I felt like Piper was loved and taken care of the whole time! Would recommend Cassandra to anyone, but especially those with pups who need to be played with and exercised to burn off energy!”
