I regularly care for my friend’s three cats while he’s away, including feeding, providing fresh water, maintaining their routine, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. About: I have taken care of dogs for the past 5 years, including a chihuahua of my own and my family’s dogs. I have experience raising puppies and caring for senior dogs as well. Even though every dog is different, I am able to provide adequate care and attention to every fur baby that I have the privilege of looking after. They were very accommodating in setting times for Flash and me to meet them and for dropping him off and picking him up. They followed the feeding instructions and made room for his dog bed and toys in their home. I really liked it that they lived in a beautiful neighborhood with sidewalks and that they had a nice fenced in back yard. About: Growing up I was the girl on the street who preferred petsitting to babysitting, and as soon I could in my 20s, I adopted the sickest oldest cats in the facilities and loved them until their deaths. In my 30s I’ve mixed it up and have two big rescue dogs, and we’ve been at the dog park nearly every day for 6 years now. Wow they grow fast! I’ve owned, cared for, and spent time around dogs of all different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities, so I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s individual needs and energy level. One of my favorite things to do is take dogs on long walks. I genuinely enjoy being outdoors and staying active, and I’m happy to give higher-energy dogs the exercise and attention they need. I’m also comfortable with dogs who prefer a slower pace, shorter walks, or just some extra companionship. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your dog. I’ll treat every dog in my care with the same patience, attention, and respect I would want for my own. I work full time, but much of my work is done from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attention, walks, potty breaks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m also available for longer walks before or after work and can adjust my routine to match your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible. I don’t have a fenced-in yard, so dogs in my care will always be supervised when outside. I have a walkable neighborhood where I can provide regular walks and exercise, and I can also visit a nearby dog park when appropriate for your dog. I’ll follow your instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, crate use, and interactions with other dogs so your pet stays safe and comfortable while in my care.

About: As someone who grew up on a farm, I have experience caring for a variety of animals. I also volunteered in a vet clinic so I am comfortable with administering medications if needed. I work as a full time in-home social worker but my schedule is flexible. My days consist of driving around town so if I need to stop by your home midday, that’s an option. I can also flex my work hours which would allow me to stop by in the mornings or evenings as well. I’m often fully available on weekends. I live in a medium sized home with a lot of open space for play. I do not own a crate, but I do have a large spare bathroom and this is where my own rescue pets have stayed after surgeries or while adjusting to their new home. There are several barn/sliding doors in my home which allow me to section it off and allow more space/privacy as needed. I also have a fenced in backyard and live near a nature preserve so there is ample space for roaming and play.
About: Growing up I had experience with a lot of types of animals, from cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I learned a lot about dog behavior when I got my first boxer through training, and feel like that has helped me with other dogs too. Two of my current boxers are seniors and they take meds so I am familiar with those types of things and my other one is 8 months old so I am currently also in the puppy phases as well. I do have a full-time job. Evenings and weekends are the best time for me on some days. I often work from home later in the week so I can be flexible those days. I am definitely open to chatting about options. I will keep my calendar up to date based on my availability. If your pups are coming to my house, I have a fenced in yard. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.
About: I have grown up always having a pet in the house so I very quickly found a love for animals, specifically dogs. I understand that dogs can differ in personality and I have a good idea on how to deal with certain behaviors, especially being a pet owner myself. P.S. I had to leave my fur baby while away at school so I would love to take care of yours! I'm currently working part-time as well as attending The University of Alabama at Birmingham but I will have plenty of time for your fur babies! I will be providing services primarily in the mornings as that is what works best for my schedule. I will be available between the hours of 6am-11am. I am focusing on dog-walking but I will occasionally provide drop in services as well, so I will follow any instructions I am given regarding caring for a pet in the client's home.
About: I have lived with cats my entire life and currently own five of them. When neighbors or family members are away, I occasionally take over to make sure they are well fed and treated. Experienced with many different types of cats; this includes kittens, aggressive, wild, neurotic and/or disabled cats. I have college in the mornings Monday through Thursday, but I'm free the rest of the time. If there are any sudden inconveniences with schedule then I will notify as soon as possible. (Additionally, my name is Kuvo, but Lydia is fine. Your pet is my priority, so I hope a name will not disturb the service provided.) There are certain times for engaging with cats and certain times to provide them with distance. I hope to prevent stress while also giving them the proper attention they need. I am never too far and know where they are.
About: I’ve always had a soft spot for animals. I grew up with many dogs and started pet sitting for family members and friends once I was able to drive. I tend to bring pet treats (usually raw diet) and/or toys to soften the fur babies up so please let me know any dietary restrictions. I’m excited to become your pets new furry godmother and spoil your best friend as they so rightfully deserve. I usually work from 5am -1pm everyday except Wednesdays and Saturdays. My schedule is typically empty after 2 as I can squeeze in the gym at anytime.
