Boone had gotten crate resistant in the past few weeks. He would cry and bark throughout the night and make sleeping a chore for us all. Ray was able to break this bad habit and give us our sleep back. He also completely got Boone off of wet food. Ray sent us pictures, videos, and updates multiple times a day. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. About: I have always had dogs as pets since I was 3 years old! I had 4 growing up and have always had at least two at a time! I have a passion for caring for pets and believe all pets should be treated like our family! I do have some experience in dog first aid and will always care for your pup as my own! I work from home full time so I am able to play with the dogs and take them on walks/hike often! I have a 3 acre yard that is tucked away and an absolute oasis for dogs! I have two dogs of my own so I am already on a potty break schedule every two hours at least! I will always treat your pet like they are my family! I do let pets on furniture if that is okay with the owner and I will follow all of your instructions very carefully. I take this job very seriously and want your pet to have the best time possible! About: Growing up we always had dogs in our family. My Experience in pet care is from having my own pets and caring for friends and families. I love animals and have over a decade of experience in caring for dogs, cats, horses, mules, donkey's and pigs. Now I just have my two dogs but the are like our family. About: As someone who grew up on a farm, I have experience caring for a variety of animals. I also volunteered in a vet clinic so I am comfortable with administering medications if needed. I work as a full time in-home social worker but my schedule is flexible. My days consist of driving around town so if I need to stop by your home midday, that’s an option. I can also flex my work hours which would allow me to stop by in the mornings or evenings as well. I’m often fully available on weekends. I live in a medium sized home with a lot of open space for play. I do not own a crate, but I do have a large spare bathroom and this is where my own rescue pets have stayed after surgeries or while adjusting to their new home. There are several barn/sliding doors in my home which allow me to section it off and allow more space/privacy as needed. I also have a fenced in backyard and live near a nature preserve so there is ample space for roaming and play.

I can take care of any type of dog, with any type of special need or just anything special you need done for your fur baby, you can be certain that your fur baby is getting all the love and attention they could ever dream of. In my adult life, I have had a lab mix and have had 4 boxers (3 currently still in the home) and a siamese mixed cat. I do have a pool, but I go outside with all pups for safety reasons. If your dog loves to swim let me know! I also have a quiet neighborhood for a nice leashed walk. I do have a lot of stairs so if you have a senior dog that has mobility issues my house might not be the best option. If they go out on a leash this would be less of an issue b/c I can take them for a walk out front. I crate my puppy when I am gone, and can crate your dog when/if you would like me too. I would like any special instructions about medications/food/behavior etc that are specific to your pets. I would need any specific instructions for your in home stays with your pets.

“Ray is fantastic. I would classify Ray as more of a dog whisperer than dog sitter. We boarded our very lively 8 month old puppy, Boone, with Ray for 5 nights. Boone had gotten crate resistant in the past few weeks. He would cry and bark throughout the night and make sleeping a chore for us all. Ray was able to break this bad habit and give us our sleep back. He also completely got Boone off of wet food. Ray sent us pictures, videos, and updates multiple times a day. Ray really does a great job and has a gift with dogs. I would highly recommend his services and will be using him again in the future.”

“Danielle is the absolute best, and I’ll hear nothing to the contrary. This was my first time using Rover, and the sitter I originally booked cancelled on me morning of, but Danielle accepted our last minute request on a holiday weekend. I have an old dog with arthritis and medication who can be a picky eater at times, but that was no issue for Danielle. She not only made me feel at ease with constant updates and pictures, but she exercised and socialized him, and he may like her more than me now. My only regrets with this review are that everyone else will book her now and she’ll be unavailable next time we need boarding for a weekend”
About: I have always had dogs as pets since I was 3 years old! I had 4 growing up and have always had at least two at a time! I have a passion for caring for pets and believe all pets should be treated like our family! I do have some experience in dog first aid and will always care for your pup as my own! I work from home full time so I am able to play with the dogs and take them on walks/hike often! I have a 3 acre yard that is tucked away and an absolute oasis for dogs! I have two dogs of my own so I am already on a potty break schedule every two hours at least! I will always treat your pet like they are my family! I do let pets on furniture if that is okay with the owner and I will follow all of your instructions very carefully. I take this job very seriously and want your pet to have the best time possible! I will do everything in my power to make sure your pet is well taken care of and happy! I use Rover for my own pups when I go out of town, so I know how scary it can be to leave your pet with someone new! “Alyssa was so good with our old girl! She has some trouble with stairs since she's an older girl but Alyssa moved her crate location so she could avoid the stairs. She also has some anxiety but it seems like Alyssa did a great job at helping her feel calm and relaxed in her new location. We will definitely be using her again when we next go out of town!”
