About: After several busy months on Rover with almost nonstop bookings, I have had such great stays with dozens of dogs, no accidents in the houses, no bites, no runaways, zero negative experiences. I feel confident that with me, you’re getting a premium stay for your pets for a really good value! I’m incredibly hands on and present with the pets, with them 24/7 and very adaptable with the different needs and personalities. I’m attentive with different care instructions and really shower the animals with positive attention 😊 I have no pets or kids but I am a pet lover in a nice home with a big fenced in yard. This is not a business for me, it’s something I have enjoyed doing for my family and friends, and if you want your beloved pet to be in a calm but fun, comfortable environment while you’re away, I can extend my service to you. I recently started doing home stays/drop ins for the pet sitting too and enjoyed it. I currently have a really flexible schedule with a lot of availability. I live with my dad that occasionally says hi if the dog or cat is friendly but mostly the house is big enough that they never cross paths. I have a fenced in yard and a big house with a lot of space that I can also section off by closing doors. I typically take the animals out several times a day, feed them, and let them roam around the house or snuggle with me. I like when pet owners bring a bed for their pets so I can make them their own space but they’re welcome to chill with me in whatever I’m doing. I’m youthful, active, and responsible. I have a naturally friendly, calm demeanor that animals and people respond well to. I have no pets right now but used to have a pit/black lab mix that I loved dearly so I love pits and other breeds with historically bad reputations. I frequently sit my aunt’s beagle mix who’s just a little old pup that sparked my interest for pet sitting because it was so fun to have visits from him. He and my old dog are in a bunch of my pics. With all animals I just try to make them comfortable and let them feel at home.

About: I have grown up with Golden Retrievers my whole life as my dad hunted with them and trained them for Field trials. We always had three in our home. Once we even had a litter of puppies and there is nothing better than puppy kisses. I personally have had two Black labs, one that was so content to lounge and be a couch potato and my current lab at 8 years old fools everyone into thinking she is 2 or 3 with how active she is. Because of her I understand the importance of walks and her needing lots of exercise, new sights and smells. I have a flexible work schedule and typically only work 3 days a week so I can be there to ensure your pup gets what they need. Happy to play in the yard or walk as needed to make sure your pup is content. Just let me know what their rules are and I'm happy to follow to ensure they are happy and healthy.

About: I've had multiple dogs over the last 30 years. Mainly Bull Mastiffs, Border Collie Mix, and multiple Pitties. We lately have been adopting older dogs to give them the best end of life possible. For friends I've watched many smaller to larger dogs, comfortable with all. I have experience with all sorts of meds and care, although I prefer to stay away from anything with needles when possible. We've been to the vet more times than I can count, and have gotten good at understanding/reading dog behavior and signs of distress. I have experience with all soft of personalities...shy or alpha, lazy or rambunctious, etc. I like to understand them and work with them where they are at so they enjoy themselves and are happy. I'm a pretty calm presence and in general dogs trust me right away. My wife will joke that I am a dog whisperer as dogs tend to follow my lead easily, but I think it is simply being confident and projecting that you are there to take care of them. I have a very flexible work schedule and am home most of the time. I only have 1 dog right now (Oscar, 82 lb Pitty who loves everything and everyone...he walks around with soft toys like they are his dolls), but will likely be back to 2 in the near future. I walk my pup(s) pretty much every day. We live near Hart Park and the Oak Leaf Trail so getting out to walk along the river/parks is very easy. New to doing this formally rather than just for friends. Normally watch friends dogs at their place. If we take care of your pup in our home, we will always have 1+ pups that will be other-dog friendly. My wife and I have a small Tosa home but fully fenced-in yard to be able to let them out at any time day or night without worry. We have a small main floor but it has 3-4 dog beds and multiple toys (prefer dogs who are ok with soft toys, as our pup(s) don't rip those up. Will likely prefer caring for your pup in your home, it simply mitigates the crowding in the house and any potential conflicts. If I look after any cats, those would be at your house. We no longer have cats and aren't prepped for that in any way.

About: I have had dogs of my own since I was 9 years old. I LOVE dogs--especially small ones! I have trained all of my dogs. I board friends' dogs in my home all the time, and am now excited to move into boarding strangers' dogs here on Rover! I work full-time, a mix of in-office and at home. I work from home on Thursdays and have flexibility on Fridays, so it works best for me to be able to provide boarding on long weekends (Thursday-Sunday). I am happy to provide your pet with seamless care and match what they are used to in your home. I have a large yard and a quiet neighborhood. My home has many rooms and I have some gates so that I can separate pets if needed. I also have a puppy play pen for smaller/younger pups who need their own space.

About: **update** I’ve moved neighborhoods! I now live near Wauwatosa! I do have a fenced in yard! I’ll still take clients in Bayview too! ☺️☺️ I had a dog in my house every since I was in elementary school, and loved each one of them more than anything in the world. I have been dog sitting since my mid 20s, and thoroughly enjoy taking care of and loving dogs of all sizes! I work close to home Wednesday through Sunday, no more than 7 hours at a time. That leaves plenty of time for several walks, playtime and the dog park(if allowed). I live 2 blocks from several parks and a 10 minute drive to 3 dog parks. Your pup(s) will get plenty of exercise and have free roam of my house, and can sleep wherever they choose including the furniture and beds(unless otherwise instructed:) )

About: While I don't own a pet I lived with pets almost my whole life until buying a home for myself. While I wait until the right pet comes along in my life I'll happily care for yours! Living near the Hank Aaron Trail allows plenty of time for walks or runs around the neighborhood. If your pet isn't a fan of long walks or runs that's okay, too! Couch time is always something to look forward to with a friendly dog as well. Happy to follow any and all rules owners have while going the extra mile to make sure your pet feels cared for every day I take care of them. Look no further for someone to dedicate their time for your pet than my home. I work full time in the Milwaukee area but am usually not gone for longer than 8.5 or 9 hours at a time. I make time right away in the morning and immediately after work to care for any of the pets that I am watching. If your pet is active I'll happily take it out for runs around the trail or make time to play with it either in my yard or at the park near me. I will happily take the time to play with your pet outside or just let it roam around and do its business if that is what your pet prefers. There aren't many dogs in the area that are out and about to worry about. I don't have a pet of my own that you need to worry about your pet being comfortable with, either. I work full time Monday to Friday and am gone for 8.5-9 hours at most. I make time in the mornings and after work to take dogs out for walks and regular exercises as needed. My schedule typically revolves around the dog I’m watching. While sitting dogs I make them my priority and try to give them as much attention as they desire or you would at your home. There are parks and open fields nearby to play in and plenty of sidewalks to roam and get a leisurely walk in.

About: I have always had a dog in my life and mostly care for my parent’s dogs however live in Wauwatosa in an apartment with no pets in a very walkable area (I go for 2 walks a day). My family currently has 2 dogs- a 9 year old Atlas Mountain dog named Mila adopted from Tunisia; she is obviously emotionally scarred and usually takes a bit to warm up to people- so I understand the dogs who need some space at first but I know to love & care for each and every dog the same. My family's other dog, Mavis, is a 6 year old high energy border collie! I have experience with visiting and caring for people in the area's pets and also having them stay with me at my apartment to go for plenty of walks and visit many parks near me. I miss living with animals so much, so I happily take in pets to have the company. I will make sure your pet is loved and cared for fully at all times! I am currently working as a therapist doing clinical mental health counseling through a private practice so I am pretty flexible to work around your needs and schedule! Open to price adjustments to what fairly fits your situation best. I am very attentive to their needs and diligent to make sure they are fed, exercised, and cared for - will go above and beyond to care for others above all.

I currently work full time on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule so I have flexible weekday and weekend availability in the early morning, afternoons, and evenings. At home, I care for my two cats, I know how important it is to keep exit doors shut, keep harmful foods out of reach, and stick to a strict routine. I bring that exact same high level of alertness and respect into your home during drop-in visits. When we are out on walks, your pets will have my full, undivided attention.
