About: I have always grown up having pets of various kinds including dogs, fish, small frogs, and hermit crabs. I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs because I believe they often get overlooked when they deserve a high quality of life, too. (Last year, my family lost our rescue dog of twelve years.) I have also had the experience of working with farm animals throughout the course of my life through participation in a junior farmer’s program, when I was younger, and then acting as a returning volunteer and frequent visitor ever since. I am particularly familiar with raising and caring for chickens. Any chance I get, you bet you can find me learning about, observing, or spending time with animals! I am a recent college graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Spanish. I recently moved to Enumclaw, WA full time. In the upcoming year, I will be job searching for additional part-time work to start saving money while researching graduate school programs in the meantime. So, that being said, I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am willing to find what works best with your own! About: I have my own 1.5yr old husky/blue heeler, he's my best bud. Before him I adopted a senior lab & loved her through her end of life care. I grew up with multiple dogs & had one other long term dog best friend in early adulthood. I'm currently a stay at home mom with one at home & one in grade school. About: I can almost read your furbabies mind! Patience and love as if they were my own is what I provide. It’s all about them and what they want to do at that particular moment. I want to make sure they eat, pee and poop. Then, I feel as though my job is complete. You have to treat them as if they are the kinds. It’s funny but true?. There should be just enough time for your fur baby to fill me in on the happenings and what’s not making them happy or maybe they’re content and just want a rub down with kind words to let them know that they are in good hands until the next visit. I love animals and they love me! I am retired but currently work part time on a farm and love nature and all animals. My schedule is flexible and I aim to please. Just let me know what works for you and your schedule. I have a fenced backyard and able to simply open the doors when my dog needs or wants to go outside. About: Hi, my name is Hailey and I’m 28 years old. I am currently going to nursing school full time and I am trying to make some extra money on the side to support my family. My husband and I have had our one dog(Kota, female) for 6 years now and another dog(Ash, male) for 4 years. I also have 2 outdoor barn kitties and 8 chickens. We have had our dog Kota(English-setter, 11 years old) since she was a puppy and my husband and I decided to adopt Ash(boxer, 6 years old) when he was only 1 year old. He was labeled free and the previous owner could not take care of him, plus he was not trained. He had never experienced grass before so when we first got him his paws would bleed and I got the opportunity to help heal him and hone in to correct his bad behavior skills. I would dedicate 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night to train him for a year before he started to trust me and we developed a wonderful relationship like we have with our Kota. I love all of our animal immensely and I believe that animals are not some inanimate object you have but a true companion in your life that deserves to be treated like family. I would love to care for your pet and I can provide some training while doing so in a positive reward environment. About: I have had dogs in my life ever since I was born all ages from puppies to seniors. My 7 years of experience are in regards to the care of other peoples' dogs. I started with walking the neighbor dogs and now have done multiple house sitting and drop-ins. I enjoy being outside so I'm used to long walks and even runs along side pups. About: I've been taking care of pets since I was 13 whether it was my own, friends or family. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
