“It was a pleasure meeting David. We felt very comfortable leaving our somewhat high energy young german shepherd with him. He's not a super friendly dog with people but David was cool with that and won him over. Highly recommended!”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing! I know my babies were in great hands and were loved beyond belief. Stephanie has the ability the juggle multiple pet sittings as once! She will take extra care of your animals as if they are her own. She sent pictures the whole time so I could see their furry faces! She will constantly make sure you are updated and in the loop and has a fast response time. She even went so much as to empty our garbage and empty the litter box even though she did not have to. 10/10 recommend and will be rebooking so my babies can see Auntie Steph!!”

“Jason was wonderful, patient with our anxious dogs. We lost both our sitters as they moved. So we’re working on finding new sitters. At first our little one was very scared and vicious.. Jason gave him treats and won him over in no time. He just stayed the day, but definitely call him again. He’s definitely a dog whisperer.👍💜🐾”

About: I'm a lifelong dog person that likes them all, big and small! I stay pretty busy dog sitting, especially in the summer, and I'd love to hangout with your four-legged friends. I'm comfortable with cats and other pets as well, just ask! I have had dogs and cats my entire life (not currently) and have experience with several breeds and some medical issues, such as epileptic seizures. I am compassionate and caring, and love puppy snuggles (if they want to give them). I will stay in your house or come by as needed. Along with the pet-sitting, if I'm staying at your place, I'm happy to bring in the mail, roll out the trash, and even take care of your pool if you've got one! work part-time and have some flexible side work, which allows me to structure my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for. I always make sure I have plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, and keeping animals comfortable and cared for. Being around animals is something I truly enjoy, so it’s an easy and fulfilling part of my routine. I care for pets in my client’s home, where they’re most comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I usually stay with them and try to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible, including meals, walks, playtime, cuddles, and downtime. I know being away from their family can be stressful for pets, so I focus on helping them feel safe, calm, and cared for while their humans are away.
“Taylor and Bruno were fantastic taking care of my cat Shadow. He was happy and well taken care of. Shadow gets stressed when I go away and usually winds up with a bladder infection but Taylor took such great care of him that he had no infection and was calm and stress free. I highly recommend them to watch your fur baby’s.”

“We’re so happy with Brooke taking care of our fur baby, Maggie Mae! She’s absolutely amazing for overnight stays—we trust her completely in our home, and everything is always just as we left it. On top of that, she’s gone above and beyond for us. While we were away, she graciously was willing to deal with roofers and show them exactly where the leak was—such a huge help! Also, Brooke is incredibly accommodating and understanding, especially when our travel plans shift due to airline delays or cancellations. She sends plenty of pictures (which we love, because we miss our Mags!) and is always super communicative, positive, and reliable. Highly, highly, highly recommend! We are thankful for her.”

“Anthony was great! Took good care of a Denver with lots of walks and trips to our dog park. Very easy to communicate with him , it was nice to know Denver was in good hands. He even sent pictures everyday of her!”

“Callie took care of my Lily and did an amazing job! She took her on walks on the beach, gave her a bath, and entertained her all weekend! She also provided pictures of my dog to keep me updated.”

“Mary was an amazing caregiver to our dog Gracie while we attended our daughters wedding in Washington State. I appreciate her staying the entire time so my dog didn't get lonely. She is a kind, caring and trusting person. I would highly recommend Mary to stay with you furry loved ones.”

“Mr. Jason was absolutely amazing in taking care of my husky. He followed all my instructions and went above and beyond, taking my boy on walks down the trail. If you want someone who will be attentive to your dogs needs and provide them with all the love, cuddles, and attention, this is the sitter to book. I have booked several sitters before on this app, but I dont think my boy has ever loved and missed a sitter before. He definitely misses hanging out with mr Jason.”

About: I have walked different sized and aged dogs before through volunteering for a dog and cat shelter. I love high energy dogs because they help make sure I get my exercise for the day. I am available during the summer because I am not working much. I will take care of your dogs like they are your kids. I am comfortable taking care of dogs. I know it's important to make sure dogs stay happy while in my care. I will make sure dogs and their owners feel exceptional and well taken care of after I work with them, I am interested in getting to know you and have me get to know your dogs. It's important to have someone to give attention at all times
About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. I am now in my 20’s taking care of my dogs, cats, and pocket pets. My current work schedule is during the day time, so I can drop into care for animals in the evening or later night time hours. I have a fenced in backyard I have to enrich my dogs playtime. I have cages for my animals if/when they are needed during the day.
“Liz watched my two dogs and housesat while I was away for four days. I received pictures of my dogs twice a day and everything went smoothly. The dogs enjoyed their time while I was away so I did not worry for one second. I certainly will continue to use Liz and my dogs agree.”

About: I’m a dog groomer by trade (10 years) but I have been taking care of friends and family’s dogs for well over 15 years. After my senior dog crossed the rainbow bridge my house has been lonely and I’m now looking to meet more fur pals and give them the attention they need! In honor of my baby girl I work 5 days a week till around 3pm but I have two days I’m available all day for walks and in home check ins I currently will not be doing in home sitting at my house but I will love to walk your dog when you are not available!
“Hailee house sat with our dog who has separation anxiety. Meaning she couldn’t leave the house. Not ideal for sure. This is the first time we had used a house sitter and we were a bit nervous. Everything went perfectly! We are so thankful for Hailee and will definitely use her again. Thank-you Hailee 🐕”

“Jennifer was awesome! She took such good care of my Maggie while I was away during Christmas to visit family. She sent me pictures everyday and told me what they did that day (without me even asking). That was so nice! She told me that Maggie went for a long walk everyday in addition to her being taken out several times a day for potty breaks. It was only 5 days but I swear Maggie lost at least a pound or two! (which she really needs) I was so nervous about leaving Maggie with a stranger but Jennifer was so nice and easy going. She let me come over to meet her and see her house (which was so clean and nice and comfortable I wanted to live there! lol) and her screened in porch. She listened carefully to all of my special instructions about food and medicine and all of Maggie's idiosyncrasies. (and there were alot lol) She was very patient with us! After meeting her I was able to relax because I really felt like I had someone to trust my baby with! I enjoyed my time with family without worry and that is priceless! (I worry about everything!) Thank you Jennifer! I am so grateful and I will definitely contact you next time we get to travel!”

About: I have had dogs in my home since the day I was born. My family owned, a Husky, Rottweilers, Boston terriers, and a Shitzu over the years. As an adult I have owned and cared for a Pitbull boxer mix for 8 years, cat sitted for a dear friend for over a year, and another friends small dog. Animals always warm up to me quickly and enjoy my attentive presence with them. I am currently not working, since I have an (older) dog at home it is important we get daily activity in! This usually includes a walk between 1-2 miles or an hour or so at the dog park. I have a fenced dog park at my apartment, along with 1 dog in the home. She is docile and very friendly, but not very playful. No stairs, and a lanai for the animals to lounge around.

About: I stand out because I treat every dog like my own. I learn their quirks, stick to their exact routine, and keep you updated with photos so you’re never left wondering. With reliable communication and genuine love for animals, you come home to a calm, happy pup who had a great day. As a cat owner, I fit care into my day in small, easy chunks. My mornings are 10-15 minutes to feed, refresh water, and scoop the litter while my coffee brews. Evenings take about 15-20 minutes for dinner, a second scoop, and playtime — my cat is most active at dusk, so a quick wand-toy session helps her settle for the night. Weekly tasks like deep-cleaning the box or brushing take me 30 minutes total. Once I tied it to habits I already had, it became routine and keeps my cat calm and happy. I care for my pets by keeping their routine simple and consistent. Mornings are food, fresh water, and quick clean-up. Evenings are dinner, play or walks, and checking that everyone’s settled. I stick to their schedules, handle meds when needed, and stay on top of vet care so they stay healthy and happy.
University Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Liz watched my two dogs and housesat while I was away for four days. I received pictures of my dogs twice a day and everything went smoothly. The dogs enjoyed their time while I was away so I did not worry for one second. I certainly will continue to use Liz and my dogs agree.

We had such a great experience with Paola! She took amazing care of our pup and kept us updated. On top of that, we came home to a clean house, which was such a nice surprise. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing everything was in such good hands—highly recommend!

Kristin was great! My animals loved her and she sent pics after every visit. When I returned home my kitten became ill (to no fault of Kristin’s) and she was awesome in letting me know what his behavior was on the last visit and then helping me figure out what could be bothering him - return urinary pair. She even provided a vet recommendation since she knew we were newer to the area. I will definitely use her again!’

David was our first experience with Rover - and he exceeded all expectations. After first reaching out to him, he responded quickly, offering to come over for a meet and greet. Upon his visit, our family decided quickly that he was a great fit! He was a very likable young man, who we could tell knew his stuff and would be respectable to our home while away. He texted us, with photos, at arrival and departure from our home. He is always quick to respond to keep in touch as needed. We have already booked him again for a week this summer. I would highly recommend him to friends and family!

Madison went above and beyond during her stay at my house. Communication was great, she sent so many pictures and videos. I know my dog Nash had a great week with her and got so many cuddles. She left my house better than she found it. I highly recommend her for any service!

Cindy did a wonderful job taking care of Bailey and Lulu! She sent lots of pictures and made sure they were happy, loved, and well cared for. I could tell they got plenty of cuddles and attention. She also took care of everything while I was away, which gave me such peace of mind. I’ve been using this app for over three years, and Cindy is by far the best sitter I’ve found. I’ll definitely be booking her again for my next vacation. Highly recommend!

Maria is wonderful!!! I was so nervous leaving my babies (two Shih-Tzu mixes) in someone else's home and for a 2.5 week trip overseas - the longest I've ever been away from them. But she put me at ease immediately! It's so clear how much love she showers on the animals she cares for and how much knowledge she has as well. She sent me photos, videos, and messages daily and reassured me. They were completely at ease in her home, well cared for, and having fun too! I was able to quickly relax and enjoy my vacation. I would not hesitate to leave them with her again and, in fact, have already rebooked. Thank you, Maria. Moxie and Tonks can't wait to see you again.
