“Kristen is simply the best. She was able to gain trust of my shy kitties in a short time and took care of them as if her own. I highly recommend Kristen!”

“Kloe was extremely caring for our three cats. They trusted her right away. She fed, cleaned and played with them while we were away. Sent so many cute pictures and videos. Definitely recommend!”

“This was the first time that Michelle dropped in on Cuddles. She gave her food, water and a clean litter box. Cuddles is not a friendly cat and seems very happy that Michelle was there to provide for her. I would definitely ask Michelle to care for Cuddles again.”

“Kaitlyn did a great job with my cat, Cheech. I arranged for 2 visits per day and got cute picture updates each time she visited. One thing that sets Kaitlyn apart from other sitters is her experience as a veterinarian technician and her deep familiarity and knowledge of care for cats as well as dogs. Will def use Kaitlyn again for my next trip! Highly recommend.”

“Shirley is a wonderful sitter. She offered to come for a "meet and greet" her 3 new clients. Even though they all went into "hiding mode", Shirley was able to get great pictures of the 3 of them during her visits. Tux our outside cat usually disappears when he does not know you, but he trusted Shirley. It was nice to receive the daily status and pictures of them. Maya is our chatterbox kitty had a lot of nice things to say. Our last trip we took she ignored us by hiding from us the minute we came home. So its nice to see that she did not mind that her parents went on vacation. We have holiday plans and a wedding trip up coming and Shirley will be this family choice.”

“Mond was extremely thorough and communicative throughout the entire process of checking in on Ashes. Would highly recommend him for any services on rover.”

About: Hi there! I’m Kelly an animal lover based in Little Neck, NY, with a flexible afternoon schedule and a passion for caring for pets like they’re family. Whether you’re looking for a dependable dog walker, a quick drop-in visit, or overnight boarding in a safe, pet-friendly home — I’ve got you covered! I’ve grown up around dogs and cats, and I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I make sure every dog gets the care and attention they need — whether it’s an energetic walk, a belly rub, or just someone to keep them company. 🔹 Services I Offer: – Dog Walking (available weekdays after 3 PM) – Drop-in Visits for feeding, potty breaks, and play available after 3pm and most weekends! – Occasional Boarding (your pet stays at my home) My home is safe and pet-friendly, and I only board one pet at a time to make sure your dog feels relaxed and at home. I know every pet is unique, so I’ll always follow your instructions closely and send regular updates and photos so you feel connected even while you’re away if this would be helpful! Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet so your pup can get to know me! 🐾 I currently have a full time job but am out of work by 3pm which leaves me plenty of time to take care of pups in the evenings! I also have availability over most weekends! ⸻ I provide a safe, loving home with lots of playtime and walks! I follow all care instructions closely and treat every pet like part of the family. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities!

“Kathryn is a great pet carer, she did an amazing job taking care of Oreo during our trip. We really appreciated the updates and photos from her drop-in visits. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Oreo was in such capable and caring hands. We will definitely be booking again!”

About: I have a dog (belgian malinois) and a cat (american curl). I was the founder and president of the dog club at my high school! I have dog sat and cat sat for my friends, teachers, and neighbors. I am an active person and always make sure my dog gets enough exercise before heading home. I am also a (self proclaimed) cat toy expert, I know how to engage a cat. I am currently a full time college student, I am available in the afternoons after 3 p.m.. I am also mostly available on Fridays and weekends. I have a gated yard and my dog mostly hangs out in the yard and only comes into the house for food and sleep. My cat stays upstairs most of the time and has a 3 story cage when we need to cage him

“Eugene was great. Responded really quick and showed up on time to help feed my puppy. He was very careful, very friendly and very respectful to everything in my house. He even stayed a little bit to play with my puppy to keep her company! I would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes, treating each one like my own. From playful pups to senior snuggle bugs, I want your pets to feel safe, loved, and happy. I am a speech therapist at a skilled nursing facility who works close to home. I have a flexible schedule, allowing me to give your pet and mine plenty of attention and care. Plus, a loving family member is always home for extra company! I create a calm, loving environment with lots of play, cuddles, and routine. Whether in my home or yours, I follow your pet’s schedule to keep them happy and comfortable. Available for meet and greet by Mary Jane Davies park prior to pet boarding. As a personal preference, we don’t do meet & greets in the home and don’t take more than one dog (unless it’s from the same family, 2 max). We don’t mind sending daily pictures and updates.

“Judy has helped me countless times with Tiger. She is thoughtful and caring, and took great care of Tiger. This time I’m gone longer so I asked Judy if she could take Tiger out for a walk. She has no problem with it and took pictures when they were out. Tiger is happy and I’m thankful for Judy’s great work!”

“I couldn't be happier with how things turned out with Shang. From the very beginning, he was wonderful with communication and very understanding about my hectic schedule (and my embarrassingly messy apartment). Even though I wasn't able to show him around before I left, he still followed all the instructions I left for him, and had a few really great suggestions of his own! My cat is very shy, so he didn't come out, but when I got home, he seemed in the best spirits of any trip I've taken, and I know it was because he was taken such good care of. It was a stressful few weeks, but knowing that I had someone like Shang to take care of my cat while I was away was a huge relief! I'd happily have him back any time!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life—I’ve cared for all kinds of pets and love every tail wag and sloppy kiss. I’ve walked and watched dogs for friends for years, and now I’m here to give your pup the same love, attention, and fun. Rain or shine, cold or hot—I’m always ready with a leash, treats, and a smile. You can count on me to show up on time, stay prepared, and make your dog’s day I’m currently a student enrolled in an online master’s program, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I’m available to work mornings through evenings, Monday through Friday and Sundays. Saturdays tend to be a bit busier for me, but with advance notice, I’m happy to accommodate requests on that day as well. Your dog’s safety is my top priority on every walk. I always use secure leashes and harnesses,(please let me know if you do not have one in advance, I can provide it), stay alert to our surroundings, and avoid unsafe or overly crowded areas. I never walk dogs off-leash and always follow any instructions you provide. You can trust that your pup will be safe, loved, and well-cared for every step of the way.

“John did a great job feeding and cleaning up after my 4 cats. He came at the times expected. John was courteous and attentive and communicated with photos and texts while we were away. I will definitely use John again. I felt comfortable trusting my home and cats to him. Thanks!!”

“Stacie is a Godsend! We had the opportunity to take a trip to Costa Rica with just 48 hours notice. We were incredibly lucky to find Stacie: We would never have gone abroad unless we found someone great. Stacie provided us with two references, both of whom were thrilled to report she did a fantastic job with their pets: They said she was always on time, posted lots of photos and was incredibly respectful of being inside their homes when no one was around. That was actually my primary concern about hiring someone I did not know: It’s pretty difficult to leave your house keys with a stranger. But Stacie was wonderful. She was incredibly responsible. We took this trip just a few days ago (mid-January 2022) when the city was pounded with a terrible snowstorm. Despite the awful weather, Stacie kept her appointment: She told us in advance that she might be an hour or so late because the blizzard left the roads unnavigable. But, clearly, she made it a priority to check on our two beloved Birman cats: She came just a couple of hours later. I’m sure that was difficult considering the weather, but we truly appreciated it. We knew the cats would be OK in Stacie’s care. And they clearly grew to love her. We are incredibly grateful to have found her.”

About: One day in 3rd grade, I had come home from school to the surprise of a life time: my parents had adopted two of the sweetest puppies - a Siberian Husky and a Yellow Lab. It was the best day of my life! From then on, Skye and Sandy, respectively, were my absolute best friends. I had the best childhood with them, and I learned a lot about responsibility from them. I took them on daily walks and played with them in the backyard. When they were sick, I had the magic touch (a slice of cheese to hide the pills in)! Sandy and Skye have both since passed, and I haven’t been able to have another pup of my own yet. I have, however, been a regular dog sitter for my loved ones. I LOVE the time I get to spend with these dogs, and I would love to give my time and attention to your pup as well! The first sight I see in the morning is my cat standing over my face waiting for breakfast. I feed both of my babies before heading to work, whether to the office or working from home. If I’m working from home, I take time to get some activity in with my cats, using lasers and toys to get them moving and awake. If I’m in the office, I’ll do this when I get home from work. After this I’ll spend some cuddle time with them and maybe put some Cat TV on YouTube for them. Then it’s time for dinner included with supplements, like salmon oil. I end the night cuddling in bed with the cats and hoping that tonight there are no 3AM zoomies! When I dog sit for my family’s dog, Otis. I walk in the door and immediately am greeted with multiple kisses and lots of love. I obviously embrace the love and okay with Otis for a little bit, making sure to throw him his favorite red ball. Then, I might sneak him a little treat for a great playtime. When I feed him I make sure to carefully measure his food according to his owner’s instructions, as well as make sure he has a full bowl of water after a tiring playtime. When it’s time for his walk, we make sure the weather outside is suitable for him to be out there, and go on our way! Otis loves to greet the neighbor’s and their dogs as we go. I ensure that he is going in the appropriate places and always thoroughly clean up after him. When we get home, he loves to snuggle on the couch while I watch New Girl, or whatever reality show I’m currently binging! I make sure to be attentive to all of his needs and make him as comfortable as possible!

About: I have a love for pets of all kinds and have been taking care of dogs and cats of friends and family for five years now. I have experiences with pets of all ages and levels of care required. I have basic knowledge of animal behavior and am capable to understand your pets and make sure they remain happy and healthy while in my care. I’m able to pet sit during the day Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. I am available evenings in Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. I am also open to long stays if needed. I am very attentive to your pets needs and am willing and capable to make them as happy and comfortable as possible! Any specific requirements or needs you pet has I am willing to accommodate and work with.

“Sarah did an excellent job taking care of our cat (and our fish) while we were away! She was responsive and responsible, carefully followed care instructions and sent thorough updates and photos each day of our trip. We would definitely book her again! This was our first time using Rover and we couldn’t be more pleased with the whole experience.”

About: I have experience working with multiple dogs of all sizes through family and friends, from small feisty Poodles, Corgi's, to large German Shepard breeds, I can handle all the usual needs you may need from keeping them busy and happy to the usual walks and strolls that every dog needs! For the current summer, I am usually avaiable for dog walking or drop in visits during the weekdays at 7AM to 3PM. I can hash out details if needed for certain days I may not be available. Stone floored backyard that my corgi loves to play fetch in, and indoor life is quiet but plenty of room for playtime, either with me or my cat.

Gary W.
“When people want to get to know you, a question they might ask is: "Do you like dogs or cats?". Based off the answer, others make their opinions on you based on their own preferences. Gary (De) doesn't have to worry about this question because he absolutely adores both his corgi, Marley, and cat, Rocky. I and other friends will tell you, he will not stop fawning over them if their names comes up when we talk. While both pets can be a handful at times, he can maintain a nice balance between doting on them and taking a firm stance to supervise them based on their behavior. I know nothing about having a pet, but if I did I'd gladly hand them over to Gary to take care of them while I was away with peace of mind.”
