Mr. Jacobs is not used to being around other dogs but Keoma’s pup, Pepita, it’s the cutest and sweetest little thing and Mr. Jacobs befriended her within the first hour under their care! She took care of him 2 days in a row. The first day he was scared at the beginning, of course, he’s only 19 months old and is not used to other people, we don’t go out much. But soon enough he was relaxed and having fun. On the second day, when he realized we were going back to Keoma and Pepita he was so happy!! Our boy loves them very much. About: Having 2 dogs of my own, I know how much clients/dogs owners care for their babies. They need to be fed, exercised, trained and taken care of as if they were little kids. That's what I do with my own 2 dogs and that's what I would do with any other dog under my care. About: I have experience with dogs of all ages, and I am an expert puppy trainer. I am well versed in all the basics of walking, feeding, giving medications and comforting a dog when sleeping in a new environment. My experience has also helped me to develop fun training activities that will ensure that your pet will enjoy their time with me and possibly return to you with some new tricks to show you. I work from home so I have a lot of time to spend hanging out with dogs. I also love my clients that require extra walks because it’s a great reminder for me to get away from the computer screen and get some fresh air. I have a wide empty entry way in my apartment, perfect for my daycare clients to get comfortable. I also have a large fenced in backyard for us to play in when the dogs need to burn off a bit more energy.

About: I’ve taken care of pets of various friends and neighbors over the last few years. I have always wanted a pet of my own and treat every pet like they are. I am a hard and detail oriented worker. I will clearly communicate with you how your pet is doing as well as sending pictures and videos. I am currently a teacher on summer break so I have nothing but time to come and play with your pups! Nothing would be more fun for me than to get to take your dog for a walk and have some quality playtime with them while we enjoy the summer sun! I have experienced both dog and cat sitting while clients and friends of mine have gone on vacation. I have taken dogs for walks, cleaned out litter boxes, fed them, and enjoyed some playtime. Unfortunately, my apartment does not allow pets so I cannot have one of my own, but I would be more than happy to care for your pet in your home.

About: When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so it’s my job to make that time as easy as possible! In order to do that, I’m a big believer in great communication. I like to get as much information about you and your pup even before the stay begins, so I can start thinking about how to make your pup happy and get a clear picture of your care expectations. When your pup is with me, I always send detailed daily updates, with information on anything you need to be kept in the loop on—from meal prep to exercise times. And of course, there will be plenty of accompanying pictures, so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! I'm currently in school full time and am free some mornings and afternoons, evenings for mid-day walks, and am usually available on the weekends for pet-sitting. I live in a pet-friendly apartment building and have a fenced balcony, if your pup needs some fresh air when we're not out on walk. I'm also happy to crate your pup, if they require it.

About: Hey there! My name is Raquel, a college graduate with a minor in veterinary studies and i’ve loved all animals my entire life. I dedicated a large part of my childhood and school years to volunteering with shelters and rescues so there really isn't a breed I haven’t loved working with! I come from a family of dog lovers, my sisters owning a total of 9 collectively. Family reunions are packed! (no pun intended) My best friend (a vet tech) owns a dog grooming and boarding business, which I like to help out with on occasion so I guess you can say I’m living a dog lovers dream! When I’m trusted with the responsibility of taking care of someone’s fur baby, my schedule revolves around my guest! I try to include them in everything I do and if I can’t bring them along, that thing can wait. The pets take priority. I’m big on positive reinforcement and always do my best to respect an owners requests (ie: asking to crate at night, avoiding overstimulation or playing with specific toys) Dogs are always walked on leash and are never given human food.
