“Anna is by far the best! I highly recommend booking her. I never worry when she is here because she is dependable and truly cares for all animals. Bodhi and Clive ( my dog and cat) would give her 5 stars as well.”

“This is the second time we've had Karena petsit for our 3 smaller dogs ranging in age from 3 to 10 and we were just as happy this time as before. She sends daily updates even if the pups aren't doing anything different than the day before. She would still send us cute pics of them snuggling into their beds or chilling with her on the couch. She's responsive and picks up / cleans up after herself so the house is as tidy as when we left. Highly recommend!!!”

“Orima is so incredibly sweet. I left both of my pitbull babies with her overnight and she kept me updated and informed every step of the way. Both of them looked incredibly happy and well adjusted in all of the photos she sent. I will definitely be booking with Orima again.”

“Melanie did a good job with my boys (Persian cats). She sent daily updates and pictures as requested! We came home to some instant pictures that she had taken and left for us which was very sweet!”

“This was my first experience on Rover and I couldn't be more thankful and lucky to have met Janet. She took the time to come and meet my dogs and let me show her around a week before the actual booking. While I was out of town for my sister's wedding, she communicated with me constantly, sending me updates and adorable pictures and videos of my 2 little boys. She took them to the dog park several times and went above and beyond to make sure they had an amazing time, were safe and continued to communicate with me. Thank you Janet!! You are so awesome!”

“Ethana sat my 11 week old puppy. She followed all directions and requests as directed. She also was able to house sit for an allotted time which I greatly appreciated. I felt comfortable knowing my puppy was left in good hands as she had updated me with a picture and when she ate and went to the bathroom.”

About: I have been lovin and livin with animals ever since I was a little girl. I used to live on a mini farm in 2005 and loved helping my parents out with the animals. We had goats, sheep, horses, fish, dogs, and cats. I even started riding horses when I was 4 years old! Unfortunately, my mom had a stroke and we had to move & sell a lot of the animals. Because she is handicapped, I have helped my mom with the animals since then. In 2020, I moved to Virginia to completely my bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications at Liberty University. While in college, I walked dogs and pet sat for people. This was really exciting for me because I wasn’t allowed to have my dog with me in the apartment. From April-December of 2023, I traveled solo across the east coast of the U.S. by pet sitting for people, and in return, I got a free place to stay! This was an incredible experience and I made so many furry friends along the way. I am now living in Charlotte, NC and I work remotely as a Social Media Manager (which means I get to do my work in my fuzzy slippers whenever I want). My schedule is super flexible and I’m almost always available for last minute (I like to say spontaneous) plans. Please reach out if you have any questions! I work remotely so my schedule is very flexible. I usually go to the gym in the morning and then work whenever I want. But I am willing to adjust my daily schedule to fit your wants and needs. I think the most important part of owning any pet is to make sure they feel loved (aside from food and water of course). I love to spend quality time with pets and I am willing to take your pets on car rides and on plenty of walks. It’s very important that our pets aren’t cooped up inside with nobody to play with. Where’s the fun in that?!

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with a calm, caring nature. Whether your dog loves long walks, belly rubs, or just some cozy couch time, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every dog like they’re my own. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your furry family member, so I always go the extra mile to provide updates, photos, and peace of mind. Puppies are welcomed! I’d be more than happy to maintain training exercises during their stay. I have a flexible hybrid work schedule. I choose which two days that I go into office. Depending on the days requested for service, I can make create my schedule based on your needs. I treat your home with respect and keep your dog’s routine as consistent as possible. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, whether it’s meals, walks, medications, or bedtime rituals. So your pup stays happy and stress-free.

“Chelsea did a great job with my fur baby while I was out of town. She was communicative and respectful. I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

About: I am a responsible, experienced, detail oriented dog walker. I’ve grown up and taken care of labs, retrievers, german shepherd’s, and doodles. I give off a loving, gentle, caring energy that I believe pets can sense which allows me to form many trusting bonds with them, even if its for a day. I worked at a vet for 3 years and have encountered many different breeds. Ive walked my neighbors & close friends furbabies, and even have a client that requests occasional walks when needed. Ive walked puppies, seniors, reactive dogs. Im studying full time to prepare for med school. I have open, flexible availability within my study schedule. Week days and weekends open for walking. I have a tennis court in my backyard (its ours), and the yard is large enough to do laps and play. I have a very long leash. 5yr old doodle who is very well house trained. Ive had a client that allowed me to house/dog sit and walk her 8 year old bull mastiff for a week. We took walks early morning every day to avoid the hot days and pavements.

“Jordan was great with our girls. Got some photos and videos from her and it seems both Chloe and Lola loved to hang out and play with her. Will definitely be looking into booking with her in the future!”

About: I am a current college student. I've a dog and two cats at home. I was able to pet sit for family friends in previous years. I am available week days all day long and most weekends. I am currently home for break and completely available if needed any time. I am a photographer and a poet. I love puppies! I can't wait until I can have my own house full of happy, energetic dogs running around. I love going hiking with my dog. I love taking walks with my dog during cool summer nights. I am able to bath your dog if wanted, specially in a hot summer day. I can't wait to be able to meet and make new friends all summer. :)

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine lifelong passion I have for caring for animals. I actually started taking care of both cats and dogs when I was in 3rd grade, which gave me an early sense of responsibility and a deep understanding of how to connect with pets. Since then, I've continued to build on that experience, always treating each pet like they're my own. I go out of my way to make sure they're not just safe and healthy, but truly happy—whether that means extra playtime, a comfy spot to nap, or simply giving them lots of love and attention. Their joy and comfort are always my top priorities. Pet care is a regular part of my daily routine. Each morning, I start by feeding my pet and making sure they have fresh water. I also take time for a short walk or play session to get them moving. In the afternoon/evening, usually dedicate time for a longer walk and some quality bonding time. I clean their bedding, wash food and water bowls thoroughly, and check that they’re up to date on medications or preventive care. It’s a consistent commitment, but it’s also rewarding and helps me stay organized and active. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I prioritize safety, consistency, and comfort. I follow specific feeding schedules, ensure fresh water is always available, and provide regular exercise suited to the pet’s breed and energy level. I also pay close attention to any health or behavioral changes and keep the environment clean and secure. In a client's home, I respect their routines and instructions closely, maintain open communication, and provide updates as needed. I make sure pets feel comfortable in their space by giving them positive attention, maintaining their usual routines, and minimizing stress when they're away from their owners.

She walks my sweet pup whenever I'm stuck at work late and he loves her! She's handles time management very well. Every time I need a last minute walker, she's available. She texts me when she thinks something is wrong (which it never is she just likes to make sure), and updates me whenever Charlie (my furbaby) does something out of the norm. University City South pet parents share their Rover experiences
Bridget was SO amazing with our elderly pets I can’t say enough great things about her. We booked last minute as we just moved to the area and had to go out of town right after moving. Between 3 dogs and 2 cats they all have their own foods and medication routines and Bridget was able to accommodate all their needs. She was great at communicating her stay, sending us picture and video updates while we were away, & left a kind handwritten card at the end of her petsitting booking. The peace of mind I felt with her watching our pets and ease of working with her gave me so much comfort & I’d recommend her to anyone needing assistance with their furry loved ones! THANK YOU BRIDGET!!!

Ellos did a phenomenal job! We left him to house sit and take care of our animals while we were on our trip for a week. Being away makes us nervous since we have a full house but Ellis made sure to take charge. The home is super tidy, the cats are fatter than we left them (probably those extra treats 😁) and our dogs are well taken care of. Cannot recommend Ellis enough, he gave us daily updates and made sure to accommodate around our schedule. If you’re looking for a trust worthy care taker Ellis is your man! Our family vouches for him 100%

Chantara did a wonderful job housesitting my 3 dogs (2 large and one small) for a long weekend. She took them all for multiple walks a day and sent me many pics and videos and updates each day. I felt totally relaxed being away from my babies! She left the house immaculate as well.

Anna was so amazing! My animals were sooo cared for while I was away. She sent me photos everyday and was great with communication. She listened to all the instructions for caring for my animals and my home. She is so fun and clearly my animals enjoyed having her stay with them. I definitely recommend her if you’re looking for someone to watch your animals.
