About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have plenty of money saved, but currently no income coming in because I don’t have a job. This is a way I am trying to make money to continue to save up for life expenses. As a result, I am literally free whenever, haha! I have no defined schedule whatsoever, but I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

About: I grew up with having dogs in my house. At one point we had two at once! I was expected to take care of them so I learned the foundations from my family. I am use to bigger dogs such as golden retrievers but I also enjoy more medium sized dogs as well. I have experience being trusted with caring for pets of my family, my friends, and strangers. I feel confident in my ability to watch dogs of any breed, and I am also confident of my ability to be a patient and caring cat caretaker. While I did not grow up with cats, I have had multiple experiences taking care and providing a loving environment for them. I am pretty go with the flow, flexible, and eager to hang out with your pets! I am a graduate student that will have classes during the evening, but I would love to fill my day with animals! I am willing to be flexible in providing care and I am looking forward to helping out! With my experience I understand that being a caring and attentive caregiver is important for pets. They are almost always unconditionally loving and I mirror that in my care. I am not afraid to ask questions on how to provide your pet the best care. I work on the weekend, however I am flexible and otherwise have an open a schedule. Meet and greets are strongly preferred, so I can familiarize myself with your loved one and vice versa. I am currently working part time in the morning so plenty of time on the weekends and weekday afternoons to accommodate your pet’s needs. About: I have been surrounded by pets all my life whether it’s family, family friend, or friend’s pets, they’ve all loved me. I am also on top with my communication and very responsive so it will be a bonus to get good updates with your furball ! I have a cat that I take care of everyday; Properly fed, played, and cuddly with. I have a lot time spent with my cat and my availability is very open as I spend a lot of time being home. I take care of pets by following directions from owners, feeding them properly, providing them good attention, and will be able to communicate all the time about pets. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life! I regularly walked my neighbors dog around the neighborhood during covid. Dog sat a family friends dog while they were on vacation! I work well with big dogs as well! I’m currently a student. Mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays, thursdays work the best. Weekends depends on what time of the day. Please let me know what days you are needed. I can let your dog in and out of his/hers crate if needed. I can give fresh water and feed if needed as well. I will avoid any big parks with other dogs if your dog is reactive or scared!

About: 15 years of animal experience, grew up with 2 labs, a pomeranian and most recently a cat. Experience giving animals medicine orally, walking, and playing. Primarily free on the weekends and in the mornings, I am currently in vet tech school so M-Thur I am in class from 1:30p-6:30p I understand that trust is essential when it comes to caring for pets, I promise to respect their boundaries and take things slowly if needed.

I’m new to Rover but I have taken care of dogs since I was 8. I have 6 dogs at home and volunteer at a Humane Society, so I have experience with all kinds of dogs. I love animals and wish to help you with walking, check-in’s, or house-sitting. I can also help you with whatever responsibilities you wish for me to take care of while you are away! I'm currently on break, so I will have plenty of time to care of your pets. I'm available on weekdays and weekends between any reasonable times, just check my availability for any updates. Your pet’s safety and care is my top priority. I will treat them like my own pet and will carefully follow any instructions left to keep your pet comfortable. I know trust is important so I can provide regular photos and updates.

I'm available for walking, or home sitting I will listen your pet, and try to understand what it needs, or what's the problem I will be attentive to your requests, and make sure your dog is safe at home. About: At the age of 9 years old, I received a puppy that I took care of for 12 years. Growing up in a neighborhood with many neighbors with dogs allowed me to grow very comfortable taking care of them when neighbors were on vacations. Most recently, I took care of one whose family was in Taiwan for two weeks. My responsibilities include (but are not limited to) feeding/watering, walking, cleaning up after, & spending quality time with your pets. I also clean the residence as well! I enjoy creating brain stimulation games for them if I am at work/school! I have plenty of time to keep your pet(s) company while I’m not at school! PhD student with only one evening class. Lab TBD, but will update! I am happy to follow any rules you’ve set for your pet(s). Some pets prefer sleeping in a kennel while some prefer a bed. Some are fed twice a day & some have food available at all times. These are a couple examples, but if you have a routine, I will stick to it! I take this very seriously as I know your pets are part of your family.
