About: I have several months of experience volunteering with the cats and dogs in my local shelter, and I have had cats and dogs in my household all my life. I have experience giving medication orally and topically, and I am also happy to clean up any litter boxes or accidents while caring for your pet. Most of all, I pride myself on treating every animal I meet with gentleness and consideration - my top priority is making your pet feel safe and happy while I'm looking after them. I am not currently employed, so my schedule is wide open to look after your furry family members! As I have 3 cats of my own, I am used to adjusting my daily routine to the needs of the specific pets in my care. I have house-sat and pet-sat overnight and through drop-ins for many friends and family members for the past 10 years. When possible, I prefer to meet with a client once before they leave so they can introduce me to their pet and show me where/how they are fed. I always keep my phone handy to take notes on special care instructions like when your pets usually eat, how to enter the home (if applicable), when they prefer to take their walks (if applicable), etc. If a meeting is not possible, I ask that a list of detailed instructions be provided to help me best serve your pets' needs. If you would like me to take your dog to a local park for a walk, I have a car that I would be able to drive them there in, or if the venue is close enough I'll be happy to walk them there and back. If your pet requires a crate or leash for transport, I ask that they are provided by the owner.

About: I have 5 years of professional veterinary assistant experience. I have also had many pets since a young age ranging from dogs, birds, reptiles, and fish. I am attentive to animal behavior and their needs whether they are a few months old to living out their golden years. I strive to make them as comfortable as possible. I have newly moved to California from Tennessee. So my schedule is wide open! I have three dogs and one cat of my own that are a part of my routine as well. I adjust based on the needs of your furry family member to keep their routine as stable as possible. If you prefer boarding in my home (2,000 sqft), I have three dogs that love to have friendly play mates. But the cat and the dogs can be separated in their own rooms/kennels when needed. I can also accommodate your baby/babies with their own room at night and free roam the house and fenced in backyard with grass through out the day. If requested and pet allows, I offer a thorough bath with nail trim and ear cleaning.

About: For most of my childhood, I never was allowed to have a pet, despite being so eager to have one. However, I did know many friends and families who had dogs and cats, whom I would visit frequently. I would help feed them, walk them, play with them, give them gentle petting when they were receptive, etc. As a teenager I moved around a lot with my single mother and my younger sister, so I got to live with a few different pet owners: One of my adult roommates had an old senior Shih Tzu. The sweet girl had poor vision and moved slowly, but I did my best to help my roommate and handled her dog with care everyday. Another woman I lived with had two cats; the male was affectionate and friendly, and the female was the feisty and shy one. I approached both very differently, aware of their boundaries, and formed a sweet bond with both :) Then my mother’s friend, who had a bunny! I learned a lot about how to give them healthy and fulfilling lives. Bunnies are very high maintenance, yet admittedly my favorite animal to care for. It’s why I actually ended up having a pet rabbit to spend every day with when I lived with my grandmother for years. I’m now living in a faraway town and unable to see my sweet bunny as often, but I’m most experienced in rabbit care and grooming!! All in all, I get along with most animals, and I find animals of all types just precious, even during the more lackluster aspects of having them. I understand each pet is their own individual with unique needs and I will always be attuned to that. I feed crows and pigeons (not around other animals though), I photograph insects and reptiles… yes, I just love animals and living creatures. I have a part time job, working four hours every weekday (completely free on weekends). I am at work between 2pm-6pm, and outside of that I have no defined schedule whatsoever. However I do have routines and a list of hobbies I’d love to pursue in my journal. I get up early in the morning to walk around my neighborhood usually, and I do the same during sunset. The rest of the day depends; sometimes I read non-fiction, other times I head to Lake Evans, or see a live music performance at a cafè. I also dedicate some entire days to activism and fundraisers, so if I’m unavailable to care for a pet I will simply be upfront about that! I have a two story house, and it’s quite spacious! For rabbits or other animals that need an extra danger-proof house, the floors are almost completely free of things that pose any danger (such as sharp objects or accessible wires), and can be blocked off when there are visitors. The house has a mix of smooth wooden and carpeted flooring. I have three roommates, but only one is consistently staying in the house, and spends most time outside of the house. She has expressed permission to allow an animal every once in a while, she is trustworthy, and I would never leave an animal around any other human being unsupervised. The house also has a spacious backyard with high fencing and grass. The neighborhood itself is fantastic for dog walking! There’s a walkway with trees, flower bushes, small fields of grass, and it’s a hotspot for hummingbirds haha.

About: My name is Monica I’m 35. I love animals and I’ve always had a connection with them. I currently have 2 cats who I rescued I also have 3 dogs two big ones and one small one. I’m super compassionate and love spending time with animals sometimes more than humans haha I promise you won’t regret it. If your animals need some extra cuddles and loves then I’m the one you want . I’m very active and go hiking so if you think your pet is up to a challenge then welcome all. I also like playing catch with dogs purr with the cats and I do give animals little massages to give them some extra energy and good all around love. I currently work part time Monday-Friday in the afternoons so I’m free morning and after 6pm. I’m also free on weekends. I’m super flexible so if you need care just let me know at least 1 day before. I make sure pets feel comfortable and that they can trust me. I’ve worked with super anxious dogs who took a bit to warm up but eventually felt safe and secure.
