A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! Depending on their energy level and preferences, I’ll take them on walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, or have a fun training session with treats. If they enjoy socializing, we can visit a dog-friendly park or go on a nature walk. For pets who love to relax, I’m all about belly rubs, cuddle time, and enrichment toys to keep their minds stimulated. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, entertained, and comfortable while you’re away!

Pets are family, and I know that firsthand! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and couldn’t imagine it any other way. Growing up, we had two energetic and lovable miniature schnauzers, Shaggy and Betty, who brought so much joy to our home. After they passed, I adopted my sweet girl, Cali, two years ago. She’s my adventure buddy—we go on daily walks and runs, and she keeps me on my toes! I’m friendly, active, and caring, and I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your pets when you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or making sure they’re well taken care of, I’ll treat your fur babies as if they were my own. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets and give them all the love and attention they deserve!

Mellissa has cared for our precious pup since we’ve had her (6 years). She’s stayed at our house to take care of her and she’s stayed with her at her home. Our pup Penny always feels safe with her and we always know she’s well taken care of.
Mellissa has been pet sitting my 10 yr old boston terrier, Ares, for the past 6-7 years, she is one of the few I trust with my son. She is friendly, caring and adaptable. My son is not pet friendly and only gets along with one of his cousins so Mellissa has done great with learning his behaviors and body language especially when taking him on walks. I would definitely recommend her.
