“Super sweet to help out super last minute as we got stuck 10 hours away. Our poor babies had pooped inside and she picked it all up so we wouldn’t come back to a total mess. She was also amazing with our GSD who can be shy/timid. We will definitely use her again!!”

“Thank you Alexandra!! 10/10 recommend, she made me feel so at ease using Rover for the first time. She came for a meet and greet before the visit, and sent an awesome update afterwards. Great experience 😊”

“Jacki was great with drop-ins for our two older, nervous dogs! I could tell the dogs were relaxed from her photos, and she left detailed reports. She was also very understanding and flexible when a sudden dog illness made us change the drop-in schedule last minute. I'd hire her again!”

“My pups are a handful, I'll admit. Kayla, you took care of them, dealt with their messes and attitudes. I'd gladly recommend and/ or request your services anytime. Thank you.”

“Took great care of our boys while we were gone. They all got play time and attention. Had no worries or issues with anything from feeding needs to boxes. Will be having her stop in again the next trip we take for sure!”

“My pets L-O-V-E Shawn!!! He is the only person that will watch my babies ever! Because of his background with animals in general I trust that he will recognize if somethings not right. If he has questions he will text or call. He even leaves such nice daily messages and pictures! And he is the nicest person you’ll ever want to meet. He is as kind and sweet with people just like he is with my pets. Shawn your the BEST!”

About: I have cared for cats and dogs my entire life. I have 2 dogs of my own and grew up with cats so I am knowledgeable on their needs and care. I would love to help you care for your pets! I am not working at the moment and am taking online classes, so I have open availability to provide loving care to your fur babies. They will start playing with new friends in no time! We have a BIG fenced yard and lots of dog toys! We have experience taking care of senior dogs on multiple daily medications and also little puppies. “Stacy had great communication, asked questions so she could provide Bella with the best care and helped me out last minute! Took Bella on a nice walk. Would definitely use her again.”

About: Growing up with dogs ever since I was kid has exposed me to the wide range of responsibilities. I also fostered dogs for 2 years before relocating to our new home! Friends, family, and colleagues have all trusted me to care for their pets. Pet care fits into our daily routine just like caring for our child. Our pups are younger, meaning they're energetic and require exercise (and lots of treats!) Our home consists of two loving moms, an animal loving 8 year old, and 2 energetic/playful pups! We spend most of our time playing in the fenced in backyard - where the zoomies are frequently had - but also enjoy the occasional fur baby snuggles when they tire out.

About: What sets me apart from others is I will try to go that extra mile for your babies. I know how difficult it is to leave them at home. *PLEASE INCLUDE KENNEL IN BOARDING PROCESS!* I am a full time employee at Marshalls and my schedule is everywhere! I request if you are needing services it be two weeks in advance so I have time to dispute it with my job and get the hours or time off. I’m very flexible as long as you bend with me. If you are looking to book boarding please note that your animals may be left in a kennel for 2-4 hours alone. I come home on lunch break so that’s the 2-4 hour, my husband works from home on Mondays and Fridays so the only time alone would be on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays. I am offering every possible thing Rover will let me besides training. I will listen to everything you tell me to take care of your fur baby! I am very passionate about taking care of animals.

About: I have found passion in being kind and loving to every dog I meet. I've noticed I'm naturally great at bonding with dogs and gently helping with training. What better way to fill my cup than by spending time with animals while helping people feel confident their pets are truly cared for? I currently have a Jack Russell–Beagle mix named JT, adopted at age six, who I’ve helped adjust to stairs, car rides, and a daily routine that includes dog park visits. Before him, I shared 10 incredible years with Stewart — my soul dog — who joined me for road trips, everyday life, and miles of running together. Stewart’s presence in my life shaped not just my love for animals, but how I love them: deeply, patiently, and fully present. Thanks to him, I learned how to safely run with dogs of all sizes, and I’m happy to offer that same high-energy care for dogs who love to move fast! And before that was Hoagie, our loyal family dog of 17 years, who sparked my lifelong love for animal companionship and helped me understand what it means to share a true emotional bond with a pet. Even earlier in life, I grew up with a dog named Ubar — my childhood companion — who was lovingly cared for by my father until I was 13. Watching him gently care for Ubar left a lasting impression and taught me what it means to show patience and respect to animals. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors needing gentler attention. As a teacher, I bring calm energy, structure, and clear communication to every interaction. Whether your dog needs exercise, affection, or quiet companionship, I treat each pet like they’re my own. I truly understand the emotions that come with leaving your dog — because pets are family. I know they’ll miss you, and that’s why I show up as the happy, trusted visitor who brings them comfort, fun, and love in your absence. I’ll always go above and beyond to give you peace of mind and make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and cared for. I’m currently off for the summer, which means I have full availability for pet care — especially daytime walks and drop-in visits. This is the perfect time for me to give your pet consistent attention, playtime, and companionship while I build a strong routine with these services. As I build my Rover presence, I’m offering discounted rates for my first few clients. Just reach out and let’s chat! As the school year begins, I’ll continue to offer evening and weekend availability, along with care during school holidays. I'm currently focusing on getting drop-in visits and walks running smoothly and will always do my best to work around your pet’s needs and your schedule. When I care for pets in their own home, I treat the space with the same respect I would want for mine. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules to gate locks — and take time to learn your pet’s routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I do love to be outside and play with our pups if they won't leash walk as well. We will spend the time together! I make sure doors are locked, leashes are secure, and that your pet is never rushed or overwhelmed. I build trust by being consistent, calm, and communicative. Whether it's a walk or a drop-in, I always take time to greet your pet with warmth and patience so they feel safe while you're away. I also send updates and photos, so you know your pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a positive, low-stress experience — one where your pet feels loved, and you feel peace of mind.

“Maddy is a great sitter! She is quick to respond to messages and makes sure to provide you plenty of detail in her updates while you’re away. She was also really flexible about coordinating our meet & greet as well as our key exchange when I got back into town. Very grateful for Maddy and her service! Definitely recommend!”

“If there’s anyone I’d trust with my dog, it’s my mom. She treats her dogs like second children, they are truly part of the family. She’s incredibly caring, responsible, and always goes the extra mile to make sure animals feel safe, loved, and happy. Whether it’s going for a run, playing fetch in the yard, or just snuggling up on the couch, she puts her heart into every moment. I’ve seen firsthand how much joy it brings her to spend time with animals, and I know she’d treat any dog she cares for with the same love and attention she gives her own. Any pup would be lucky to stay with her!”

In addition to making sure they have enough food/water and are okay, she spends time with them so they aren't lonely if I'm not home. They love seeing her, which is a testament to how kindly they think of her!”
Unity Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
I was able to book Catherine a second time for while I was away on a trip, and just like the first time she was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and I felt much better about being away from my cat with her dropping in! She made sure to take photos when my cat came out of hiding and engaged with her with little treat hunts to give her something to do, which was definitely appreciated. My cat doesn’t make it easy but Catherine was very patient and gentle with her. I’d certainly rebook in the future!
