“We left pepino, our young high energy dog with Jaideep for a week. He did a great job taking care of pepino and keeping us updated regularly during our travels so we knew everything was going well. We would love to have Jaideep take care of pepino again in the future.”

“De’Andra was amazing and sent pictures all throughout the day for this anxious dog mom! Super communicative and couldn’t have asked for a better person to look out and play. Walter enjoyed himself and made a new furry friend, Crosby, as well!”

“I was very pleased with my pets stay with Miss Bobbi. She sent me pics and updates throughout the day. This was the first time my pet and I have been apart and all went well. I feel confident leaving LG with her in the future.”

“I felt very good about the care I was receiving from videos and pictures. I felt max was in good hands and it showed a very well organised house with a fenced in yard in the back. I will definitely use him again. Thanks again”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember! My experience with dogs started when I was just 4 years old, when my grandmother raised Cocker Spaniels. Growing up, I was also lucky enough to have dogs and cats of my own, which helped me develop a genuine love and understanding of animals. Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, and I currently have a shelter dog mix of my own. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member, and I’ll treat your dog with the same care, patience, and affection I give my own. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pup, keep them happy and comfortable, and give them plenty of love and attention while you’re away! 🐾❤️ I’m currently working full time M-F and am home evenings and weekends. I have a routine with my dog so following another routine will be simple! I have a fenced in yard at my home. I also have one dog that is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs.
“Amy and Patrick were so sweet and awesome to my 8-week old puppy, Lila, while I was away. They took excellent care of her. Amy and Patrick are friendly, responsible, and pet-loving good people. I highly recommend them for pet sitting, walking your dog, etc. I will certainly use their services again!”

“Anton was great. All was good. Professor is old and set in his ways, but he was obviously treated well and the photos & videos sent while he was there show him very happy. As far as I can see, there is no down side with leaving your Pet with Anton. We will definitely do it again.”

“Laura was our first choice when we needed a dog sitter. We were new to the process and we couldn't be more happy with the attention and treatment Laura provided. During our time away, she stayed in communication with us on a regular basis, eliminating the stress of leaving our dog behind for an extended period. Above all, Laura is trustworthy, and our dog loves her. She is meticulous, detailed, honest, and provides a friendly and safe pet environment. We would be happy to provide personal references upon request. Highly recommended!”

“Abigail was great! We needed a last minute sitter for our 1yr old pup for a 10 day trip and Abigail accommodated us with no problem! She was even willing to do a meet and greet before the stay. My 1yr old still has puppy like behaviors which I warned her about and she had no problem as well! My pup also loved spending time with her very friendly dog and kids! She also communicated very well with great response times. Will definitely have Abigail sit for us if needed again!”

“I could not be more pleased with the care that Desire gave to my energetic boxer puppy ROCCO!! He was with her for 5 nights and the videos and pictures she sent I was worried he would not want to come home!!! I knew he was well cared for and was able to enjoy my time away!!!”

“We had an amazing experience with David and his family. ! This was the first time leaving our dog which can be stressful, but they took fantastic care of Halley. We really appreciated the daily updates and cute photos, and it was clear she was getting plenty of love and exercise. Halley came home happy, healthy, and wonderfully exhausted. We would definitely book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great sitter!"”

“Michael was very accommodating regarding booking my pup’s stay being that it was somewhat last minute. This was the first time I had booked with Michael, and everything was great. He was very attentive and communicated with me throughout the three-day stay. He did Pup Painting with her, and she came home with her masterpiece! I know my baby was taking care of, and I will definitely be booking with him again in the future!”
“Jessica was amazing with Felix, kept me up to date on how he was doing and provided a bunch of pictures. This was my first time using Rover so I was a bit nervous, but she made it extremely worry free. Her dogs were extremely friendly and even welcomed Felix the minute they saw each other. I will definitely choose her to watch Felix again!”

“Caitlin is great! I knew my girl would be in good hands during the meet and greet. She provided updates throughout the entire stay. I was completely at ease, not one worry. Reese loves her!”

“Kelly was great. She took good care of our dog while we were away. Our dog suffers from seizures and he takes medicine and she was able to handle those special needs without any trouble. She communicated with us if she had any questions. Our dog seemed content and well taken care of when we picked him up.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Union Deposit home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Union Deposit.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Union Deposit sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
