About: I've grown up taking care of pets; my childhood cat and my cousin's dog. I've cared for my neighbor's animals and currently have both a cat and a dog. My family and I trained my dog at home and I can help reinforce any training you're doing with your animal. I'm currently a college student in Boston and I'm looking to walk or sit pets as a part-time job and stay connected to my love for animals! During the winter and summer break, I have few commitments and can be very flexible with my hours and your pet's needs. I can do long walks for dogs, feed, play, clean up, and other general needs for both cats and dogs! I work full time during the week, so most of my availability is in the early mornings (6-9 am), evenings (after 5:30 pm), and weekends. There can be some flexibility there if we work it out ahead of time :) I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine as much as possible, and I make sure they still get plenty of attention and care during the times I’m with them. If your pet needs a consistent schedule, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate. When I visit your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable by following their routine closely, keeping their space clean, and paying attention to anything that might seem off. I always double check that doors and windows are secure before I leave. I know it’s a big deal to trust someone with your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. About: I have had/ taken care of pets my whole life. I have two small children and I want to show them the joy and love of having a pet in the house while they are still young, but our travel schedule makes a full time fur baby difficult right now. So can we borrow yours? I recently lost my 13 year old diabetic cat that was insulin dependent so I am comfortable administering medications. I am home all day. I work very part time from home and my children (2 and 4) are present in the home with my constant supervision. I have time to walk and love and get to know your pet. Although I do not have a fence at the moment, I am very comfortable walking a dog on the leash or taking them for a run at the local park. I have small children so safety measures have been met in our home. I ask that your pet be calm enough to deal with the little ones.
