About: My family is a dog family through and through. I grew up with two dogs in the household at all times, and the rule still stands. Animals have always been a part of my life no matter the lens you look through. Living in a friendly neighborhood allowed me to care for other dogs since I was 12. From sitting, to walking, to simply feeding, I was normally the one to do it! I am an energetic 22 year old who adores playing with any and every furry friend and to get paid doing it!? Sign me up!! Currently, I am an upcoming senior at Bloomsburg University. I am studying Secondary Education with a concentration in English so there is not much work for me to do in the summer since school is out and there is no work in the districts. I am heavily available and will be more than happy to take last minute scheduling if it's an emergency or desperation - go on that date! I will always treat your animals like my own. They will get plenty of loving and I'm expecting some slobbery kisses in return. I don't find much gross in regards to sickness, medical conditions, excitement pees, or simply slobber because I have surely seen it all. I am also very understanding with any rules you have for your pets and will do anything I can to abide by them. But if it means skimping out of treats then that may be a little tough. Your furry friend is of upmost importance when I am with them so I swear to never put them in harms way (ie. sketchy roads, carelessness in and out of the house, pulling on their collar when walking, etc.).

About: Aside from my own pets over the years, I’ve also provided care and comfort to pets of family and friends. Whether in my home or yours, I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it is to find a safe place for our fur babies when we have to travel. Our pittie mutt, Hank, can’t wait to meet your pups! I recently retired after 36 years of teaching and have lots of free time to care for your fur babies. We have a large fenced in deck (and pool for our swimmers). Our 12 acres are not fenced but are cleared for easy walks, on or off lead as desired. Our home sits well off the main road. We’re not opposed to taking pups for rides in our side by side. House trained dogs have freedom in our home. We’re suckers who allow pets on furniture and provide all the love and cuddles needed to make them comfortable. We have plenty of room for crates if your pup is more comfortable in one. In your home, I will follow your house rules. Depending on location, I can come and visit or stay overnight. I can bring mail and packages in for you and take care of your plants. 🪴

About: I've taken care of cats and several types of dogs, mostly of the large kind, for friends and family as well as raising many kittens in my own home. I have experience with all ages of dogs and am comfortable with high energy dogs as long as they don't have aggressive tendencies. I have worked on some (very) basic dog training, but nothing at all professional. I have also had and taken care of ducks, chickens, rabbits and fish. If you need a companion for your pet, I would love to be of service for you! I am currently unemployed and living at home, so any schedule you would like for your animals while I'm there with them, I am able to do! I'm happy to take dogs for walks, play with cats, or whatever you need me to do for their schedules.:) I will be respectful of whatever boundaries you have for your home, or with your pets. I am happy to care and be involved with your pets in whatever way you need. I am patient with animals that take a bit of time to warm up to more people, so don't worry about being offended. About: I grew up in the woods surrounded by a constant menagerie of beloved animals, from kittens and hamsters and goldfish to an energetic black lab and her tumbling litter of puppies, to parakeets and cockatiels and the wild baby hawks my mother rescued. Though I never had a snake growing up, I lived with two ball pythons in college and learned about reptiles petsitting for iguanas. Because I travel regularly, I’m not in a position to have pets of my own, and so petsitting is not only a way to earn extra income, but also to fulfill my longing to connect with animals. Life is better with creature friends! I’ve been petsitting for 21 years, and I have experience with a wide variety of animal, both long- and short-term stays, and with boarding cats, dogs, and snakes at my home for weeks at a time. I’ve provided long-term care for kitties and pooches who need diabetes injections twice a day, and I’m no stranger to following *very specific protocols* to get an aged friend to take their daily pills. I’ve cared for nervous nellies and pandemonius puppies and cats who need to chase lots of things in order to stay sane. I enjoy learning your pets’ favorite games to play, and I’m also experienced with supporting any training and boundaries you’re working on with them. I understand that when I’m petsitting, it’s like nannying children (which I’ve also done for over a decade!) I’m committed to providing your pets with safety and care, as well as showing them love, energy, and attention while helping them navigate what it’s like to miss their favorite human. I treat petsitting as a great responsibility, not only regarding practical logistics, but also for your pets’ enrichment and quality of life! I work primarily as a grant writer and non-profit consultant, and so I have a flexible daily schedule. I often work from home, which means I’m able to spend time with your pets throughout the day! I love walking pets and giving them (and me!) exercise, and I’m able to do so as often as your pet requires. I’m a professional musician and I have performances from time to time in the evenings or brunch time, but I’m able to plan my schedule around your pets’ needs. Since I’m flexible with time, I’m not overwhelmed by complex feeding schedules or rituals. I love the psychological richness of caring for new and different types of animals, and I’m a quick study to learn new protocols. I’m happy to learn your pets’ rhythms, and match their routines as closely as possible while I’m with them. I have many years of experience with overnight gigs in other people’s homes, and I deeply respect the responsibility of caring for someone else’s space. Since I’ve been petsitting for so long, I’m very familiar with keeping a small footprint and cleaning up thoroughly after myself. I also have experience caring for plants and other home maintenance needs while petsitting, anything that will put your mind at ease while you travel.

About: Hi! I'm Colleen and I love animals! I currently have a 1 year old puppy named Sammy, who we adopted from the Humane Society when he was a few weeks old. We just lost our 17 and 16 year old dogs Tommy and Marta and we miss them terribly. I've owned a doberman names Zeus, a jack russel/pug Tommy Lee, a chihuahua/dauschund named Marta, and Sammy who is a chihuahua/pug/boston terrier/dauschund. I'd love to stop in an check on/or let out your pets, or stop by for walks:) I have wide open availability, day and night! I am a stay at home mom with two kids in school. About: My 9 year-old black lab, Luna, and I are traveling around the East Coast (around NJ and PA at the moment) and house sitting while we find a new place to settle. I have worked as a dog trainer and groomer for 3 years. I also have my own business called “Heeling Dog Reiki”, which I can book outside of Rover. Reiki is an ancient healing technique used for centuries to promote healing and well-being. My specialty is working with senior dogs and pups who are experiencing illness (arthritis chemo) or just need a little extra TLC. I have also worked with dogs who experience fear. Either way, I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones! This will be my full time gig at the moment. Happy to become a recurring person in your pups life! Structure is good for the pups! We want your dog to enjoy all aspects of our home, but if they are feeling overwhelmed or anxious and need some alone time we have a room for them. I set my office up with a little couch and a dog bed and it’s perfect for a little alone time if they need it.
