Dog Walkers in Ulster, PA

About: I've had the privilege of loving a variety of dogs: a large rottie/shepherd mix, a rat terrier, and currently an american lab puppy. Now that our lab is beginning to calm down, I'm eager to use my energy to help other people care for their pets! We used Rover for many years and I understand how important it is to find loving, last minute care for your beloved pet. I'll be sure to show your pups the best of care while you're away! I live by Barclay mountain, south of Towanda and commute to the Sayre/Athens area for work, which allows me to check in on pets in a wide range. I'd be happy to swing by before and after work as well as on my lunch as long as your location allows! We have a large, unfenced lawn (one day planning to put in a fence for future farm animals) and a small pond on our large, wooded property. Our dog is boundary trained but we keep a long 50 foot lead for visitors! Dogs are welcome to snuggle up on the couch but generally expected to sleep in their crate or bed as bedrooms are off limits to our furry friends. When I come to you to care for your pets, it's important to me that I follow the usual routine that you've established with them!

About: I helped care for family dogs and cats since I was about five years old, feeding, giving water, walking and cleaning up after them until I was 18. I have boarded two dogs for a friend and provided drop-in visits for a former neighbor for about a year after that and worked at a pet hotel from '17-'19 in which time I got a dog training certification. I have some experience taking care of mice and hamsters and would like to learn how to care for rats and snakes. I'm currently looking for part-time work and would be more than happy to provide the love and care that your fur babies require in your absence. I'm also a newer driver and could really use the experience. Afternoons and evenings work best but please don't be shy about asking for morning services. Depending on the service and your pet's needs, I will spend as much time as they need whether it be a brief or long walk, cuddling on the couch, etc. I will be working part-time starting April 14, 2024. I will have a schedule ready sometime afterwards. Hopefully it will be in the next few weeks. I will keep your pet indoors for the most part, depending on the pet. I prefer to keep dogs on a leash when they go out for walks and to potty unless there is a fenced in yard.

About: I’ve taken care of numerous types of dogs for friends and family since I was 13. I trained my puppy and love playing with dogs of all ages. I currently work from home, which allows me to give your pets the attention they need during the day! I’m at home full time Monday-Friday and am available on weekends. My dogs are uncrated and allowed to be outside in my unfenced yard, though I usually go out with them. For peace of mind, I’ll take your pets out on a leash or a runner. In your home, I can do whatever you’d normally do.

About: Your crazy dog stories could never top mine! Dog mom of over 15 years. Currently have a 3 yr old high energy dog. Comfortable caring for any animal of any age. I love all fur babies like my own! I am currently working full-time at night, 5 nights a week. Available mostly any day prior to 3:30pm. Overnights wouldn’t be possible, but could check on your pups before & after work! I am very well versed with all doggy situations. My current situation is not ideal for a dog to come to my home, but checking on yours in their “safe” environment works best!

About: Since I was little i have always loved spending time with animals. I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and ever since then I have been taking care of dogs. Last December I adopted a puppy and he has been my main priority since. Spending time with dogs is what I believe to be the best way to spend my time! Currently I am a student in highschool and I participate in Track and field. I work at a local golf club, but the schedule is pretty open. I would be open mainly weekends or most weekdays after 5:00 unless I have a track meet. Currently I care for three dogs in my home. Two littles and one very big dog. We have a large yard but we keep our dogs leashes when they go out. Therefore in order to give them exercise we take them on long walks. As a caretaker I would be sure to put your pets safety first as well as any rules you place.

About: I’ve been involved with dogs and horses my entire life. I’ve trained a wide variety of dogs including, reactive dogs, puppies, seniors, small dogs, big dogs, nervy dogs and even some more challenging training like obedience and agility. With experience in house sitting, dog walking, public training, private sessions and more. I have knowledge in preventing medical illnesses and injuries as well as health and perfect diets. My services will not fail you on reliability, attention to detail, and flexibility. This would currently be my only job and one I would be more dedicated to. My household only has one vehicle at the moment so I would have to work around when my partner needs a ride to work and when I need to pick him up. But other than that I have plenty of free time to tend to your animals. Currently I am available to care for pets in my clients homes, your animals will be in safe hands as well as your home. Being attentive to animals is most important and making sure they get their stimulation for the day as well as exercise. My clients house rules and animal requests are at most importance.

About: I am very well equipped to care for dogs and cats with varying needs and abilities. Each animal deserves the love we would give our own child. I’m currently looking for new opportunities having just moved back to the area. About: I’ve always had household dogs&cats as well as taken care of friends/family’s pets since I was about 13. From my brothers labs,huskies and beagles, to cousins large and protective Rottweilers, to good friends hyper anxious dog with a cancer diagnosis. As well as other friends super hyper border collie and chiuahua. The most pets I cared for at once was five dogs and two cats. I’ve also cared for three cats and a bearded dragon at the same time. About: Since childhood, I’ve been surrounded by animals. Big, small, and everything in between. My family ran a modest farm until I was around 11, so hands on animal care has always been second nature for me. After we had to move, I found every opportunity to stay close to furry friends, from pet sitting for family and friends to caring for my own cat and frogs at home. I’m especially experienced with large dogs, including those with aggressive or anxious tendencies, and I take pride in adapting to each animal’s unique needs no matter the size. My approach is grounded, observant, and I always aim to stay respectful of routines. I’m also working toward a veterinary degree, so every pet I care for helps deepen my understanding and passion for animal care and wellbeing! Pet care is part of my everyday life. I make time for pet care daily anyways, so adding a little extra to my plate is no bother! In my home, pets get a clean, safe space with consistent routines and plenty of attention. I aim to make sure they feel comfortable and secure. In clients’ homes, I always respect their space and stick closely to instructions whether it’s walks, meds, or just keeping things calm and predictable.

About: Aside from over 20 years of experience caring for my own family pets, I have majored veterinary science, have worked in a veterinary clinic, and have previously provided foster care for sick, injured, malnourished, pregnant, nursing, and infant dogs. About: I am a huge animal lover with professional experience as a dog walker/sitter. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible. Ideally, I would like to find a few dogs that would like to be walked throughout the week or checked on. I have a 10 + years experience dog sitting short/long term.
