About: I previously raised three dogs of my own and have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs. After they all passed away, I hoped to share the love I had for them with even more dogs. I am also a professional pet groomer. During boarding stays, grooming services can be added if needed, so every owner can welcome home their dog clean, fresh, and smelling wonderful. I work from home Monday to Friday, so I’m available to take dogs out for walks at any time. I can arrange boarding most of the time as well. I have a fenced garden at home, and dogs are free to move around the house except for the bedrooms. There are only two of us in the household, with no children, your dog can enjoy a peaceful, stable environment and have a happy, relaxing holiday. Please tell me about your pet’s daily routine and eating habits. I will do my best to follow their usual schedule so they can feel just as comfortable as they do at home.

About: Ive had dogs in our family our whole life, over the last 16 years we’ve had 4 dogs at the family home (now sadly only 3) since moving out of the family home I miss them so so much but cannot commit to having one at my own home full time due to work/travelling a lot (it just wouldn’t be fair) but I love having them around and it makes me so happy looking after them! I currently work a mix from home and in the office; when working at home am flexible to drop in and walk or have for the day in my home. Also open to mid week boarding which could be arranged on individual needs. I’m pretty flexible with my job so can work with others to find suitable availability I have a fenced back garden that they are able to go into and play in. They are also welcome on furniture and upstairs in my house. Happy for pets to sleep in my bed (as long as they are clean) would treat them just as I would treat my own

“Amanda has been a great sitter for us, for me and for Bentley, on long work days I've been able to relax knowing he's in capable hands. Amanda takes care checking the temperature on hot days and touching the pavement to see if its too hot for paws etc. My dog is overweight so she tempts him with his toys and balls to make sure he gets a bit of movement in on visits. I like the detail Amanda gives when they go out on a longer walk, you can see how long exactly and where around the neighbourhood. He may lunge at other dogs and Amanda is so reassuring to me letting me know if she sees another dog coming she'll cross the road. Thank you so much again!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. I grew up with three Labradors and have continued to care for dogs belonging to family, friends and neighbours. I’ve looked after my neighbour’s Golden Retriever for weekends and longer holidays, as well as my friend’s Collie, who I loved taking on long walks. I’ve also cared for my brother’s puppy from just 14 weeks old, so I’m comfortable with the energy and needs of younger dogs I’ve also had experience caring for my grandad’s elderly Staffordshire Bull Terrier, which taught me how important patience, gentleness and adapting to an older dog’s needs can be. I previously worked as a receptionist at a part time veterinary practice, which gave me lots of experience around animals and a good understanding of how important their health and wellbeing are. I’ve cared for my own dog when they were unwell, including giving eye drops, wrapping bandages and helping with training. I’d love to have a dog of my own, but at the moment I’m not able to make the full-time commitment that comes with owning one. Pet sitting gives me the perfect opportunity to enjoy having dogs around and give them the love, attention and care I would give my own. I’d treat every dog as part of the family and make sure they feel happy, safe and completely at home while they’re with me. I work Monday to Friday, 9–5, so I’m mainly available for pet sitting, boarding and walks outside of my working hours and at weekends. I’m happy to discuss individual arrangements depending on your dog’s routine and needs. I particularly enjoy weekend stays, longer walks and giving dogs lots of attention and companionship when I’m at home. I’ll always make sure I’m able to give your dog the time and care they need before agreeing to a booking. I currently live in a flat without a garden, so I understand that dogs staying with me would need regular outdoor walks and toilet breaks. I’m very happy to provide plenty of exercise and enjoy long walks, while also making sure your dog has a calm and comfortable space to relax afterwards. However, taking care of a dog in their own environment might best suit their needs. I’ll take the time to understand their personality, routine and individual needs and will always follow your instructions carefully. Your dog’s safety and happiness would be my priority, and I’d want them to feel completely at home while they’re with me.

About: Hi, we’re Chris (30) and Renay (29), and both love the company of dogs. Having grown up around dogs we both understand how important it is to find the right person to look after them. Last year my family got a Rottweiler puppy and so I have very recent experience helping to look after him, but we are equally comfortable with older dogs. We live in a house with fenced garden and have plenty of green space within a relatively short walking distance. I currently work from home 2/3 days a week and will be easily able to meet their needs during this time including walks and playing. On weekends we will typically both be around to look after your dog and will thoroughly enjoy long walks with them. We will provide attentive, hands on care for your dog and respond individually to their needs. We have a fenced back garden and no other pets in the house with plenty of green space easily accessible.
