About: I grew up with dogs and have been taking care of them most of my life. I love dogs. I work in TV, but work from home mostly - so I look forward to some canine company and walks in the park I usually work at the office on Wednesdays, but otherwise work from home at my flat in Brockley. My work schedule is very flexible and I’m more than happy to work around an owner’s timings I am very comfortable with pets in my home, as are my two housemates (a teacher and a copywriter). They are welcome to roam around and lounge on the sofa - or get some attention from me if they want it!

“Sarah was brilliant with our 3 year old whippet. He can be shy and he warmed to Sarah immediately and loved playing with Frans her dog. Sarah arranged a meet and greet so our dogs could meet and was so lovely and very calm with lots of knowledge about looking after dogs. We had to leave early one morning and Sarah arrived early and we were so thankful! Sarah is so caring and very experienced with looking after dogs. The updates during the day were great and look forward to booking Sarah and Frans again soon!”

About: I’ve always grown up with pets: my first love was Lucy, a large husky mix, and my second was Charlotte, a homeless kitten who I convinced my parents to adopt. Since then, I’ve loved taking care of pets, dropping in to walk neighbors’ dogs and feed their cats. I’m experienced with pets that need medication administration, from cream for eye infections to medication for kidney issues, taking care of multiple pets at once, and building relationships with animals that are initially anxious with strangers. I’m experienced with long-term stays in owners houses, as well as drop in visits. When I’m not working in hospitality, I’m working on completing my first novel, giving me lots of time to read and write as I snuggle up with your pets! Before pet sitting, I will meet with you for a safety briefing to make sure I understand the unique demands of your home—e.g., keeping pets off balconies, closing windows at night, and other needs. To establish trust, I always allow your pet to approach me on its own terms: once they’re ready, I’m excited to play together and curl up on the couch!
