She was flexible in changing the walk time to an earlier one due to hot weather. CúSí came home chilled and happy after an hour's walking. I’ve had a deep love for dogs since childhood and have grown up surrounded by them. From family pets to our own fur babies, dogs have always been a big part of my life. I’m based in the beautiful Hastings Old Town, just a 10-minute walk from both the beach and the country park — perfect for all kinds of dog walks! Whether your pup enjoys a peaceful stroll or loves social adventures, I’ll tailor our outings to suit their personality and needs. We currently have an 8-month-old Labrador Retriever who’s the biggest softie and absolutely adores meeting and playing with other dogs. Sadly, we lost our lovely French Bulldog just before Christmas, leaving a big paw-shaped hole in our hearts. We also share our home with a friendly cat who spends most of her days exploring the woodland at the bottom of our garden. Our home is spacious and spread over five floors with a large, secure garden — plenty of room for dogs to run, relax, and feel at home. We're a family of four, including two children aged 13 and 7 who are gentle, experienced with animals, and absolutely love dogs. A little more about me: I work from home, so your dog will have company and care throughout the day — apart from quick 15-minute school runs in the morning and afternoon. I’ve owned and cared for many breeds over the years including Staffies, Labs, German Shepherds, Frenchies, Jack Russells, Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Rottweilers — from the tiniest lap dogs to the biggest gentle giants. I’m confident and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’m happy to accommodate dogs of all ages. About: Animals have always been a massive part of my life, ever since i was born i have been surrounded by pets, whether it was my own or families. Being raised around pets has given me a great insight into their behaviours and how to keep them safe and happy. When i was younger i attended puppy training classes with my golden labrador and my parents. In addition to all of this, I’m currently in my third year of studying zoology at university, looking into animal behaviour and domestic care is only a small fraction of my degree. I am confident in my ability to take great care of your pets. As at the end of the day, they aren’t just pets. They’re family. I’m currently a university student home for summer so i am available all day everyday for boarding, walks, pop in visits to feed your fur-babies or anything you require. I have a fenced garden which is a short walk from the local park and beach. At times I also have my brothers girlfriends’ miniature poodle here to keep your fur-babies company. I have my full license and a car so I am able to travel to pick up/drop off your pets.

About: I am a life long dog lover and am lucky enough to have my own lurcher mixed breed, Vinnie. Prior to Vinnie I’ve used borrow my doggy and looked after breeds of all shapes and sizes from Pomeranian to border collies, water loving lagotto and spaniels, a ginormous golden doodle and the collection is ever growing since starting my journey with Rover! I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and ages, I particularly love larger breeds and mixed breeds. I would love to meet you and your dog and take it from there. I work shifts but tend to group them together so often have several days off in a row and I love exploring the coastline or woods with my dog and will often take others with me. I have a large, secure garden as well as a comfy sofa. I tend not to leave Vinnie home alone when I’m off and so would not be looking to leave your dog alone either. I’m hoping to fit in with my shift work on an adhoc basis. When I’m off work my day tends to revolve around dog care and adventures! I usually work 2-3 shifts per week so plenty of doggy time! I have a secure garden which gets plenty of sun for dogs like mine who love a sun puddle. For walks I will be led by the dogs’ owners but would not be looking to do any off lead walks without permission and a good level of trust between myself, dog and owner. Am happy to administered any prescribed medications and can deal with complex mealtime instructions as needed. I do not have children. Vinnie is good with all dogs I have ever introduced him to but have the means to keep them separated if there were any issues. For longer stays I would want to check this first. There are no restrictions on where dogs are allowed in my home, they can sleep wherever they choose but I am able to shut rooms off for safety or for owner preference- for example my boy can’t be trusted with access to the kitchen when I go out because he opens cupboards, doors, fridges to get to the goodies!

We had A few not so great experiences with dog care when we moved to the areas and before meeting Kathy and I wasn’t sure how Milo would take to a new dog Walker. Safe to say we both love Kathy!”

About: My family have had dogs since before I was born, and growing up I have always taken on responsibilities looking after them! Whether that be walking, feeding, playing, or cuddling, I am ready and willing. I am confident with dogs of all ages and sizes, and ready to be their companion when you aren't able. I am currently a University student who is back for the summer. Because of this, I am free most days, at any point, and am able to stay in the pet owners home as needed. I will communicate with the pet owner as to what a normal routine looks like for the dog or cat and try to emulate this as much as possible to keep the pet comfortable. I need to know details such as how the pet is around other dogs and animals, what kind of walks do they go on. The top priority is the dog, and that they remain happy and healthy which is why I would prefer to meet the dog and owner beforehand, just to ensure that everyone goes into the service ready and comfortable.

About: I've always loved dogs and been so lucky to be the companion of quite a few over the past 5 years. Going for a walk is one of my favourite things, especially in Nature, and having a canine companion makes it even better. I walk in all sorts of weather, and I believe training is a continuous process, which I combine with play. I currently work part-time and mostly at the weekends, so I am off on week days when your dog needs their mid-day snack and a good walk while you're at work. I put safety first and always comply with the rules set by you for your dog and your home. I am attuned to my environment and pay attention to your dog's body language and prompts.

About: I have had dogs since a very young age, i’m experienced with many different breeds, ages and sizes! I have attended puppy training classes in the past and trained my own dogs in the past. Happy to help others with training or if your furry friend needs a walk or someone to pop in and give them a fuss! I enjoy going on long walks and hoping to combine this with my love for dogs and helping others😊 I am a shift worker who gets 5 days off at a time, looking to spend time on my days off helping look after your furry friends! My schedule will be updated accordingly as my days off range week to week! I have a private fenced garden with lots of space for your dog to explore. I am able to travel to take your dogs to an enjoyable walk. Any adaptations i am happy with. I have experience with crate trained dogs. Also have experience with puppies and training!

Myself and partner Rachael both work from home, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, company, and care throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime between meetings, lunchtime walks, or just being a calming presence while they nap, we’re always close by. We’re used to adapting our routine around the needs of the dogs we care for, whether they’re full of energy or prefer a slower pace. At our home, dogs have access to a secure, fenced garden for safe outdoor time, perfect for a sniff and on-demand toilet breaks. We also live right opposite the beautiful Alexandra Park, the perfect place for walkies — or a short walk to the beach. We love walking and always tailor exercise/walks to suit your dog’s energy levels and needs.
