“I couldn’t be happier, Alfie’s first visit with Jessica was perfect. As Alfie is diabetic and needs insulin injections twice a day, Jessica was more than capable and happy to administer them to him. Will certainly be using Jessica again”

“Juliet is amazing and our dog Logan had a lovely stay with her! From when we first did our ‘meet and greet’ Juliet and her family were welcoming and asking questions which showed they had a genuine love for dogs and taking care of them. Their home is lovely and Logan especially loved the garden to run around in! We got plenty of updates from Juliet, photos and videos of all the fun things Logan had been up to whilst he stayed with them and he looked so comfortable and settled. We will definitely be using Juliet again and would recommend her to anyone that asks 😊”

“Catriona was great, lots of lovely updates and great communication which made the whole process really easy from start to finish. Bronson was very comfortable and happy in her care. Can home a happy tired pooch. Her home is clean, tidy and very dog friendly. Would definitely use Catriona in the future.”

“Ria and Greg had been amazing dog sitters for our Gem. I was anxious because I was leaving Gem for first time for 5 days. They put me at ease and assured me they will take care of him and make him comfortable. The moment I left their home they started sending me photos and videos of Gem settling in . Throughout I got regular updates about Gem from morning to night. They took him on regular walks and he also had the company of their lovely dog Nala. I would definitely use them in future. Ria and Greg are really welcoming and easy to communicate with. Thank you Ria and Greg.”

About: I’ve had dogs for many years, my last two Westies passed away over the last two years sadly, I’m now retired, live next to a large area of green belt, and miss the walks and cuddles, but since I too like to have holidays feel I couldn’t afford to have dogs and holidays. I feel this is a good solution for us all, I get my doggy fix and you get a great Nanny for your dog and a loving hime whilst you go away with no worries. I’m retired, but go out nearly every morning for one hour to church. I do 2hrs voluntary work on one day a week. A dog would be part of my family, will only be crated at owners request. Owner to supply their bed so they have something of their own. I have fully fenced garden. I would always need to meet the pet first and owner to find out the routine and likes and dislikes….. and any of their habits etc. inc medication if necessary. I live next to a large area of green belt and can offer walks either there or in the street.
“Max had a fab time at Rebecca’s. He was taken out for a walk and a swim and I got lots of regular updates. Would definitely book in again and highly recommend Rebecca for looking after your dog. A real animal lover!”

“When we first met Deb we knew straight away that she and Freddie would be a good fit. Freddie has had a day stay and recently overnight for 2 nights. Deb treats Freddie as her own, going for long walks and enjoying each other's company. I would definitely recommend. Paula”

“Barney had such a fab time in Vīryanātha's care that I think he would happily move in permanently. I got regular updates with photos, which was lovely. This sitter is clearly very experienced with dogs and understands their needs; my senior border collie had a wonderful time with lots of play, walks and cuddles. We would definitely use him again 😊”

“Daniel looked after Daisy and Chester for a trial overnight and we are so pleased that it went well. Regular updates showed that both dogs settled quickly and easily. They were comfortable and at home and when we picked the dogs up afterwards it was very obvious how well they had both taken to Daniel. Will be booking again.”

“We were very nervous about leaving our puppy and looked into lots of different options before speaking to Rita. We were away for 18 nights and I couldn't recommend Rita enough. She replied straight away and arranged a house viewing. We went with our pup, Teddy, and she answered all our questions. Whilst we were away she kept us updated with photos and check ins. Teddy had a wonderful time. We are away again next year and won't hesitate to leave him with Rita and her family again.”

About: I had my own labradoodle from a puppy and have cared for friends and families pets since he passed away 8 years ago. Myself and my husband have 2 children (10 & 7) and they love playing with the animals too. We love going for walks as a family and happy for the dogs to tag along! I am currently working part time (flexible days) so am able to change my days if needed to look after your pets. I will be mainly at home during the week so can take on lots of walks/play/toilet breaks. I live in a detached house with a large fenced garden so it’s safe for animals. I don’t have any pets (just the 2 children!) and happy to just care for one at a time (or pets from the same family). I don’t have a crate but have the space for one if you wanted to provide.
“My 1st time using the site, and I was a bit nervous. Ashley was very accomodating, and suggested meeting prior to the booking so I could meet him, and I could see how my dog reacted to him. Which put me at ease. Ashley took great care of our puppy, and sent us regular pictures and updates. I was very happy with the service, and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.”

About: I’ve always had pets in my family home and we currently have 2 dogue de bordeaux’s! All of the dogs we have owned have lived with us until they passed, meaning I have experience with puppies through to seniors! As well as this, I have always had large dog breeds, the biggest being 2 Newfoundlands, so I am able to cope with many challenges our pets can throw our way. I’m a university student currently at home for the summer which makes me perfect for caring for your pets! I absolutely love getting out and about so I’d love to take your dog for a lovely new walk! I have a fenced in back garden and two loving female French Mastiffs, they’re giant teddy bears with no prior issues with other animals! If you would prefer for me to sit inside your home, I will be happy to leave my two at home as my partner will be there, do not feel like they are necessary as well! :)

“This was the first time we had left Olly with Sheila. We collected him after 2 weeks and he seems to have had great fun with the other dogs and Sheila's family. About: Having grown up with dogs my whole life, and getting my own a few years ago, i know how uncomfortable it can be leaving them behind. No need to worry, i can ensure you you dog wont be getting bored or stressed with my Beagle, Molly around them. I currently work full time with a very flexible office/work from home schedule. I cant change my days around frequently but usually work from home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I can work from home the entire week if needed for longer term stays. Dogs will be at least 45 minute walk per day, unless you request otherwise. My dog stays on a long line lead as her Beagle nose stops her ears working frequently. It is your preference if you want your on or off lead when walking. My usual routine is feed in the morning and evening. Happy to continue any routine you already have in place to ensure your pets are made to feel as comfortable as possible.

About: Hi! I'm Jo, a reliable and experienced dog walker and pet sitter who absolutely loves spending time with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every dog is unique, so I'll make sure your furry friend gets the care, attention, exercise, and cuddles they need while you're away. Whether it's a fun walk, a play session, or keeping them company at home, I'll treat your dog as if they were one of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pet! Super reliable, mum of two. I recently gave up my corporate career and have my own facial business working from home. I manage my own diary and am enjoying a much slower pace of life. I have two beautiful children who are 6 and 2 who love animals and have always been around family dogs. I have a fenced garden and am happy to look after pets in yours or my own home. My living room/kitchen backs onto the garden and stays super cool in the summer. I live close to a park and the woods for nice long walks.
About: Hi! We’re Betül, Yavuz Alp, and Freud 🐾 We moved to the UK from Turkey three years ago with our beloved dog, Freud. We were lucky enough to meet him when he was a 2-year-old stray, and he has now been part of our family for five wonderful years. Since then, he has travelled with us to many places and is at the heart of our home. We live in a house with a secure, fully fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day enjoying the outdoors. I work Monday to Thursday, 9am–5pm, in Rayleigh, while my husband works from home full-time. During the summer, you’ll usually find him working from the garden rather than his upstairs office! At weekends, we love exploring local woodland walks such as Belfairs and Hockley Woods. Weekdays are a little quieter, but the garden is always full of games, enrichment activities, and plenty of attention. We also enjoy shorter evening walks after work. Freud is a friendly, easy-going dog of around 10kg. He gets on well with dogs of a similar size and enjoys having canine company. As with many smaller dogs, he can be a little cautious around much larger breeds, so we always make introductions thoughtfully. Guest dogs are welcome throughout our home and are free to relax on the sofas or beds if that’s what they’re used to. We simply ask that they are toilet trained and comfortable living in a home environment. One of the reasons I joined Rover is that I would love to adopt another dog one day, but for now I need to prioritise my finances and health. Looking after other wonderful dogs seemed like the perfect compromise—and Freud certainly won’t complain about making new friends! If you have any questions, we’d love to hear from you. Betül, Yavuz Alp & Freud 🐶 We are living in a house with a fenced garden where Freud spends most of his day. I am working Monday to Thursday 9to5 in an office in Rayleigh. On the other hand my husband is working from home and even though he has an office upstairs his main base is garden especially in Summer. We mostly spend our weekends with a long walk in the woods around, such as Belfairs and Hockley. We are a bit lazy during weekdays but garden is full of games. We tend to have 15 to 30 minutes short walks to the shops etc after 6 pm during weekdays. Freud is friendly with the dogs his size. He can be a bit protective of himself with bigger dogs with a lot of barking and hiding behind us😂 We have a crate which is large enough for Freud to move if needed, but not preferred.
“Thank you David for looking after my dog so well. Rodney came home happy and relaxed… like he had had a day at the spa! David was kind and a good communicator - so even though my booking was a little last minute - as a first booking time with David he was reassuring and welcomed my dog gladly. We hope to see you again soon! 🤗”

I had a Sprocker spaniel growing up and enjoyed the energy and walks, and wanting to continue being around animals without my own at this time. I'm currently looking for a part time role and this fits perfectly around this, improving my physical health and my ambitions to make this full time! We would enjoy walks in the park with play time in the garden/ local areas. Within the next few months I will have a fenced garden close to fields, local parks and the sea within driving distance. Will be able to love for your furry as my own.

I aim to provide dependable, caring support for pets and their owners, and I'm always happy to discuss individual needs and schedules where possible. Your pet's safety, wellbeing, and happiness will always be my top priority. I take the time to get to know each pet's individual needs, routines, and personality so that they feel comfortable and secure while in my care. Whether it's a dog walk, a home visit, or a day stay, I'll ensure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and care. I live in a safe, family-friendly area in Rochford with a small garden and easy access to local walking routes and open spaces. My children are used to being around dogs and are always taught to be calm, gentle, and respectful around animals. One of our regular canine visitors, Milo the Cockapoo, gets on wonderfully with them and enjoys joining us on long walks. For cats, I understand that many prefer the comfort and familiarity of their own home and routine. During visits, I'll make sure your cat has fresh food and water, a clean litter tray, and as much attention—or personal space—as they prefer. Whether your cat is sociable and playful or more independent, I'll adapt to their needs and help them feel relaxed and cared for while you're away. I understand how important trust is when leaving your beloved pet with someone else, and I'll always treat your pets and your home with respect. I'm happy to provide updates and photos during visits or stays so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well looked after.

I have two beautiful children who are 6 and 2 who love animals and have always been around family dogs. I have a fenced garden and am happy to look after pets in yours or my own home. My living room/kitchen backs onto the garden and stays super cool in the summer. I live close to a park and the woods for nice long walks.
About: I’m a qualified veterinary nurse with 7 years of professional experience, providing a high standard of care. I’m highly confident with medical care, administering medication, monitoring health, supporting anxious animals, and providing structured, loving routines. Your pet will always be treated as if they were my own — safe, loved, and genuinely cared for🤍🐾 Alongside this, I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, with dogs always in the family (Labrador’s mostly!). We now own a working cocker spaniel, who I’ve personally helped train, giving me even more experience with puppy development, endless energy and lots of training!🐶 I work a 4-day week in London, but, I will have plenty of time to look after your pups on my rota’d day off each week or, on weekends🤍 As a qualified veterinary nurse, your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. On walks, your dog will be safely on-lead. I’ll consider their confidence, energy levels & socialisation needs, offering low-stress environments for nervous dogs, solo walks or, even walks with my own friendly (neutered) dog if they enjoy company. During drop-ins or sitting, I’ll respect your home at all times and also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel reassured your pet is happy and in safe, experienced hands🐾

About: I am currently transitioning from a professional corporate career to dedicate myself fully to my passion for canine care. As a mother and a lifelong dog owner, I understand that your dog is a cherished member of your family. I bring a high level of organisation, reliability, and professional integrity to my work, ensuring your pet is safe and well cared for while you are away. My experience is built on years of personal ownership and caring for the pets of friends and family. I am experienced with a wide range of breeds, but I have a particular love for Jack Russell Terriers. I enjoy their spirited personalities and the unique energy they bring, and I am very comfortable managing the "terrier attitude" with patience and consistency. To ensure I provide the best possible care, I am currently studying for my Level 3 in K9 Care and Welfare (VTQ). I believe that a consistent, predictable routine is essential for a dog's well being. During a typical home visit or walk from your home, I start with a thorough safety check of your dog’s lead and harness. We will head out to local spots for exercise and mental stimulation. After our walk, I ensure paws are wiped, ticks are checked for, and fresh water is provided. If I am sitting at your home, I strictly follow your dog's feeding, walking and garden schedule to keep their stress levels low. Your dog’s safety and your home's security are my absolute priorities. Vetted and Insured: I am fully DBS checked and operate with comprehensive pet-sitting insurance. Emergency Prepared: I am VTQ K9 First Aid trained (and I carry a pet specific first aid kit on all walks. I pride myself on clear, professional communication and will provide you with regular photos and updates throughout our time together so you have total peace of mind. Pet care is a core part of my daily routine, and I’ve structured my day to ensure I’m available when dogs need me most. I dedicate two primary blocks of time to my furry clients: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM for morning and midday exercise, and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM for late afternoon walks. By keeping these windows consistent, I can provide reliable, on time visits that fit perfectly around my family commitments while ensuring your pup stays active and happy throughout the day. I believe trust is built through professional knowledge and genuine care. As a current student of the Level 3 Canine Care and Welfare qualification, I bring an academic understanding of dog behaviour and welfare to every walk. This helps me read body language effectively, ensuring your dog is always comfortable, happy, and stress free in my care. Your pet’s safety is my absolute priority: Emergency Preparedness: I am VTQ First Aid trained (in-person), meaning I have the practical skills to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively. Home Security: I treat your home with the utmost respect, following all security protocols, ensuring gates are locked, and double-checking that your dog is settled and hydrated before I depart. Attentive Walking: I maintain full focus on your dog during our time together, staying alert to the environment and avoiding potential hazards or stressful encounters. I provide detailed updates and photos after every session, so you can have total peace of mind knowing your pup is in the hands of someone who truly understands and prioritises their well being.
About: I’ve always had a genuine love for dogs. Whilst I was at university, I began dog walking as a hobby — helping my neighbours care for their dogs during the day while also giving myself a reason to get outdoors and do something that truly made me happy. What started as a small pastime quickly became something I looked forward to every day. Since then, my love for dogs has only grown, and I’m now the proud owner of a cockapoo called Peggy. She’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new furry friends, and is always happiest when she’s surrounded by other dogs. I currently work remotely, which means I have plenty of flexibility and time to give your pups the attention, play, and exercise they deserve. Having a dog of my own means I’m always ready for an adventurous walk, rain or shine! I’m also available for house sitting during the week or at weekends, and I’m happy to work around your needs to make sure your dog feels comfortable and well cared for. With plenty of experience caring for dogs in their own homes, I’m more than happy to stick closely to your dog’s usual routine to keep them calm, comfortable, and settled. If your pup enjoys playing and socialising, they’ll have a wonderful time spending the day with my friendly cockapoo, Peggy — she loves the company of other dogs! Above all, I’m always happy to follow your lead and care for your pet in the way that suits them best.

“Max had a fab time at Rebecca’s. He was taken out for a walk and a swim and I got lots of regular updates. Would definitely book in again and highly recommend Rebecca for looking after your dog. A real animal lover!”
