About: I’ve been caring for pets for a few years, mostly for close friends and family. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just keeping them company while their family is away, I’ve always treated pets as my own. I often help with housesitting and babysitting as well, so I’ve learned to also juggle multiple responsibilities. I’m currently home for the summer from college, although as back to school season starts, my last day in Bakersfield will be September 15th. With no current academic commitments, I am able to build my daily routine around the pets I care for! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always do my best to keep their routines as normal and comfortable as possible. I’m not afraid to ask clarifying questions about your pets to ensure I am giving them the best care. :)

About: I’ve had many dogs and cats while growing up and with that, I’ve had to take careful care of them in their senior years with medications and their overall well-being. I’ve always been trusted to dog sit overnight at friend’s and family’s houses throughout the years. I am a 2nd year nursing student and currently have the summer off from school leaving me plenty of free time for watching and taking care of animals. My main priority with this job is pet safety of course. I’m very cautious when taking them on walks and when they are around unfamiliar dogs.

About: I own and take care of my own 4 cats and love every minute I have with them. I am very reliable and detail oriented. I am available most days and evenings to provide pet care at the customer’s convenience. I can make myself available to accommodate any customer schedule. I can feed, provide water, change litter and play with your cats. I can do the same for dogs as well as walk them around your neighborhood.

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of pets. In my country I was a veterinary assistant and animal care volunteer. About: I love and have cared for dogs since I was 15, I have patience for any breed and I have open availability. My most recent dog I cared for is a pug. He was a puppy and I trained him how to go on the pee pads and when he got a little older we went for walks. I always go for walks, always make sure the puppy/dog gets enough attention, food and water. I have watched all sizes of breeds from chihuahua to a husky, unfortunately because I just moved into an apartment I could not watch bigger breeds from home but I am always willing to drive to you! About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: I have experience walking big dogs as well as small dogs ranging from Great Danes to chihuahuas, I also grew up around big and small dogs including chihuahuas, German shepherds, pit bulls, and golden retrievers I am currently going to school online so I have a lot of free time during the day and night so I would love to help someone out and have something to do!! “Joshua is a breath of fresh air for me and my poopers! He is extremely reliable, responsible and amazing with my doggos. You can tell he loves animals and mine sure do love him. He is so kind and respectful to them. (For example, this is one of many) My little girl is a stubborn puppy, he is so calm with her in his commands . He will tell her "no ma'am" in the nicest voice, when she jumps on him. This may be a small thing for some, but lemme tell you, she is as stubborn as they get. Additionally, he works on training them, on my puppies dominance issues, utilizing commands, and leash training. Honestly, I lucked out. He really goes above and beyond. If you need a person who is going to love your babies and reliably show up, Joshua is your man. I've been with Rover for over 5 years and Joshua supersedes the rest. I’ve been dog sitting friends dogs the last few years to help them out, this year I’ve been dog sitting for friends of friends. About: I actually have 5 cats of my own. I work with rescues and fosters when I can. And I feed all of the stray cats outside lol. I have a big heart and love all animals. I have a pretty flexible schedule. I work 4 hour shifts so after my shifts I can take care of the animal and then go back to work when needed but I’m free every 4 hours so I have a good amount of time to care for animals. I definitely prefer Sitting at your home because I love the animal to be in its day to day environment and feel safe and at home and have everything they need but yes if needed I am able to watch cats and some dogs at my home

I currently am a veterinary technician. I do have 1 dog and 5 cats. They are very friendly and are used to having new friends around to play with. I accept all breeds/temperaments/ages of dogs and cats. If you have any questions or concerns I am more than happy to work with you! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!!! I like to take my dogs out in the morning, afternoon, and evening. I like to also take them out for walks at least once or twice a day. I usually follow the same schedule for the dogs I watch unless something different is requested. Please let me know what your normal routine is so I can make sure your dog is as comfortable as possible :) Please provide me with your schedule so I can follow it as closely as possible! I am currently working part time and am in school so I am only offering drop in visits, pet sitting, and dog walking at the moment! I am available most weekends and holidays.
