About: I’ve taken care of both cats and dogs growing up. I have pets of my own I love and care for, but I absolutely adore meeting a new face and a new personality! My boss and her peers have relied on me before to house sit for them while they are away or even just to stop by and let them out on a treat and potty break while they’re off running errands or working. I have a pretty open schedule as I am a Licensed Esthetician I am able to adjust my schedule accordingly most times. That being said as a young Esthetician I do have set hours on somedays. Which are usually: Mondays, Tuesdays, and sometimes Saturdays. 8am-10pm If you have any questions about my schedule don’t be afraid to ask. There sometimes is room for adjustments on those days as well. I have a fenced backyard your fur baby can enjoy with many trees for shade in this hot weather! Almost any accommodations can be made if needed.

Relocating from Los Angeles to Tyler for my residency at UT Tyler was stressful, and I was especially worried about leaving my fur babies, Luna P and Washington, with a sitter during the holidays for a whole week. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Raul. He kept me updated throughout the week with pictures and thoughtful texts, even asking for specific details to ensure he was meeting my pets' needs. Raul was on top of everything, and it was clear he truly cared about my bbs. Washington, who is very shy and nervous around strangers, warmed up to Raul by day three and was even playing with him! Knowing my pets were in such good hands allowed me to fully enjoy my time with family, without any worries. I highly recommend Raul. He is trustworthy, responsible, and reliable—qualities I truly appreciated during such a busy and stressful time.

About: I've had a love for animals since I was little. I will treat your pets as if they were my own, and nothing less. I enjoy being with animals and taking care of them. I go to school and work part time, so my schedule is kind of packed, however I am always open to drop in visits and taking care of them during the weekends I have 2 dogs and a cat myself, so I have experience taking care of pets and keeping them safe. However, I will make sure to always go with what you are comfortable with.

So he helped me and he's a home. I mean he's great. I am traveling and he helped me when my roommates are busy doing other things. I like how he is respectful, responsible and takes good care of my cat. He communicated any issues and all things I need to know. Including how he is (my cat) and what he's doing. Professional and gets the job done

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 10, I’m 21 now. My major is Pre-Veterinary because I’ve had a love for animals and dream of being a vet since I was 7. I have a cat of my own, Luna, and she’s my world. I treat her like a baby so I would love to share the same love to your fur babies! I work full-time as a manager at Walmart, and I’m a full time college student (online). I’m pretty fair and understanding with scheduling, as long as you reach out in advance. If my schedule doesn’t fit for you, I do not mind adjusting to accommodate you and your fur babies! I also don’t have an issue with last minute planning, just be mindful of scheduling issues or certain questions I asks in regards of the service you’ve requested! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day. I also monitor their behavior to make sure they are happy, healthy, and not feeling stressed while their owner is away. As well as in a clients home, I respect your space and specific instructions on pet care! Ensuring your pets and home’s safety is never an issue.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of personalized care and attention I give every pet. I understand that each animal has their own personality, routine, and comfort needs, so I make it a priority to help them feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m patient, dependable, and detail-oriented, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including energetic puppies who may need extra patience, consistency, potty breaks, and basic reinforcement of training routines, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, medication support, mobility awareness, and extra comfort. I pay close attention to behavior changes, feeding schedules, and special instructions so owners can feel confident their pets are in caring, capable hands. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddle time, or sticking closely to a pet’s established routine, I focus on creating a calm, trustworthy experience for both pets and their owners. As a teacher, I have a dependable routine that allows me to provide care in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and 2–3 check-ins during the workday. My structured schedule makes it easy to provide consistent, reliable care, and I often have even more flexibility on weekends and school breaks. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, pets have access to a large, securely fenced backyard for safe play and exercise, and we have two friendly dogs who can offer companionship for pets who enjoy being around other dogs. I always make introductions carefully and prioritize each pet’s comfort and safety. In a client’s home, I follow their routine closely to help pets feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for.

About: I mostly have experience with cats but throughout the years I have house sat friends dogs and we got along great. I know that most dogs and cats would benefit from seeing a friendly face in the middle of the day and I hope to be that face for your best friend. I currently walk 2 paths in my day to day. One week I'm working hard on media editing and production and the next week I'm working a little less hard on media and focusing more on taking care of my 2 sons that I have fifty-fifty custody of. However, I have enough flexibility that I can stop by and be that extra friend to your furry little ones in the middle of the day, for about 30 to 60 minutes, during your work week. Seeing how I am mostly someone that does visits I will do everything I can to keep your little furry ones safe in your home, yard, ect... I will also do my best to follow any specific instructions you have for spending time with your pet to keep them comfortable and safe. Please feel free to give me details on what your little one likes and enjoys so that I can make sure that they have a good time when I'm there.

About: I’ve owned pets for as long as I can remember. From dogs, cats, snakes & bunnies of all ages I find myself pretty versatile as well as knowledgable! I’ve recently replaced to Tyler and I am excited to meet more pets! I previously did a lot of pet boarding however, now I live in an apartment so it’s much harder. I am still willing to provide drop in care and walking services! Im currently not working a traditional 9-5 so I am plenty free to provide exceptional pet care any time of the week or day including last minute requests! I recently relocated to Tyler and am now in an apartment so can’t really offer care in my home. I am willing to travel and provide drop in visits and walking!

About: Hello! My name is Sharai, and I have been honored to own many pets over the past 35+ years. Specifically, over the past 15 years, I have gained a lot of experience taking care of elderly pets. My big boy, Pooh Bear (a lab/pyrenees mix), developed pancreatitis and had to be on a special diet - cooked by me - in addition to multiple food supplements, shots, and oral medications. Peanut, a Fox Terrier, developed diabetes and had to have two insulin shots per day in addition to numerous oral medications and supplements. He eventually lost his sight due to his diabetes, so I had to work with him in regards to learning how to live without being able to see. I currently own an older cat, Fang, that is grouchy and either eats or sleeps all the time; however, he is aging gracefully. I also own two ornery Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Loki and Lissie. Loki is a two-year-old tri-color male, and Lissie is a seven-year-old red and white female. Due to all of their energy and antics over the years, I have developed excellent first aid skills such as cleaning cuts and wounds, applying antibiotic ointment, and bandanging “boo-boos.” Due to their exorbitant energy levels, I have gotten used to taking dogs on long walks, playing numerous daily games of ball and frisbee, and other activities. I like having down-time with them for lots of snuggles and cuddles, too. Some other services that I do not mind offering are: transportation to and from veterinary appointments; vaccination administration (everything but rabies); preparing special meals; providing fresh water; and cleaning out bowls, kennels, and litter-boxes. Overall, I believe that all animals - large, small, young, or old - should be treated like the valued companions they are, and given the respect and dignity they are due. I know for myself, my life is much richer since Loki, Lissie, and Fang became my fur babies.

From the time I was a young girl through my college years I helped my grandparents take care of cows and chickens. This was my first time using Rover and Kaylun was great with my dog MJ! She came by for daily drop-in visits while my family was on vacation and was always very communicative. She also came by beforehand for a quick meet and greet with MJ, which made us all feel more comfortable. I highly recommend her and would hire again!

Julie was great! We were going out of town for a long weekend and could not take our dogs. We have a doggie door, but I needed someone to drop in each day to feed, water, play, and just make sure they were ok. Julie arrived on time, sent pictures, and gave me little updates that eased my mind each day. I would highly recommend Julie!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
