“This is the second time I have had a chance to have Kenra watch my two very skittish kitties. This time, as the time before, was an excellent experience. Even though they didn't come out from their hiding places, Kendra handled it well and took great care of them! I very much appreciate her patience and caring attitude!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 10, I’m 21 now. My major is Pre-Veterinary because I’ve had a love for animals and dream of being a vet since I was 7. I have a cat of my own, Luna, and she’s my world. I treat her like a baby so I would love to share the same love to your fur babies! I work full-time as a manager at Walmart, and I’m a full time college student (online). I’m pretty fair and understanding with scheduling, as long as you reach out in advance. If my schedule doesn’t fit for you, I do not mind adjusting to accommodate you and your fur babies! I also don’t have an issue with last minute planning, just be mindful of scheduling issues or certain questions I asks in regards of the service you’ve requested! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, and get plenty of exercise and attention throughout the day. I also monitor their behavior to make sure they are happy, healthy, and not feeling stressed while their owner is away. As well as in a clients home, I respect your space and specific instructions on pet care! Ensuring your pets and home’s safety is never an issue.
“Suzanne was great! She worked with me for just the right schedule of stop-in visits and overnights to take care of my anxious cat. Watered plants and generally looked after everything. Made the trip better knowing she was here.”

“As was apparent when we had our meet-and-greet, Allyson is someone who cares about animals. She did a super job watching after all of our dogs and cats during our extended absence. She went above and beyond doing just a drop-in, checking in regularly and providing photos of our pets. She's a very conscientious sitter and I recommend her to anyone who wants to know their pets will be well looked after when they are away. I definitely plan on using her services in the future.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of personalized care and attention I give every pet. I understand that each animal has their own personality, routine, and comfort needs, so I make it a priority to help them feel safe, loved, and stress-free while you’re away. I’m patient, dependable, and detail-oriented, and I treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages, including energetic puppies who may need extra patience, consistency, potty breaks, and basic reinforcement of training routines, as well as senior pets who may need a gentler pace, medication support, mobility awareness, and extra comfort. I pay close attention to behavior changes, feeding schedules, and special instructions so owners can feel confident their pets are in caring, capable hands. Whether it’s playtime, walks, cuddle time, or sticking closely to a pet’s established routine, I focus on creating a calm, trustworthy experience for both pets and their owners. As a teacher, I have a dependable routine that allows me to provide care in the mornings, afternoons, evenings, and 2–3 check-ins during the workday. My structured schedule makes it easy to provide consistent, reliable care, and I often have even more flexibility on weekends and school breaks. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, pets have access to a large, securely fenced backyard for safe play and exercise, and we have two friendly dogs who can offer companionship for pets who enjoy being around other dogs. I always make introductions carefully and prioritize each pet’s comfort and safety. In a client’s home, I follow their routine closely to help pets feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for.
About: Hi, I'm Cate and I want to help take care of your pet! I have a sedentary job so I would love to help care for your pets to get myself moving more. I'm joining Rover because I can't think of a better way to get more sunlight/exercise, a little extra cash, and some puppy love! I love animals and have been pet sitting in various capacities for more than 5 years. I've also lived with both cats and dogs, as well as cared for aging pets. I'm a big environmentalist and love being outside so I hope to get lot of dogs to walk around town. I’m experienced in plant care as well if you have plant babies that need attention while you’re out of town as well! I am loving living in Cambridge and enjoying the beautiful weather outside! My remote job means I have lots of flexibility to take on side work so I would love the chance to make a little extra cash to help my family afford this very beautiful (and very expensive) community! Everything I do comes from a place of solidarity with my community and connection to nature. I believe that dogs are independent and autonomous beings that I want to befriend and build trust with, not control and scare into obedience. When providing any in-home services as I have for over 15 years, I am extremely considerate of your wishes when it comes to comfort and privacy!

About: Hey! My name is Stefanie and I have been taking care of animals for almost my entire life. I have experience with both cats and dogs and would love to watch your pets for you. I hold myself to the same standards that I would expect from my own pet sitters. I can handle animals of all shapes and sizes, even your giant breeds! I have experience in the veterinary field and have cared for pets with all types of dietary restrictions, medical needs, and temperaments - so if your pet needs some special attention, I'm your gal! I have had dogs for almost my entire life. As a child my family had a Lhasa Apso, and he lived a long and happy life with us. I have had pets of my own since 2014, and all my pups are seniors now - they have a special place in my heart! I also have two sweet young cats and would love to check on your feline kiddos. I am a full time mother so I am readily available for drop in visits, overnights, and walks. Please note that my infant son will be with me during all visits. I will of course assume responsibility for my kiddo being safe around your pets, but please be mindful of your pets' temperament with children when booking! My ideal scenario when caring for your pets is to adopt their current routine - I find that keeps them the happiest while their people are away. I'm happy to visit on whatever schedule is best for you, and I'm happy to do overnights as needed.
About: I have had my own animals/pets since I can remember. In addition, I have pet sat for many families around my hometown. I even have my own fur baby at home and he is my whole world. I only have school two days a week, so I will have plenty of time to give your fur babies attention and care. Over the summer my schedule isn’t too full, so more time for play! Depending on the clients wishes, is how thorough I will be. I am a very trustworthy person and will respect each animal and each space I will be working in.
About: I've had a love for animals since I was little. I will treat your pets as if they were my own, and nothing less. I enjoy being with animals and taking care of them. I go to school and work part time, so my schedule is kind of packed, however I am always open to drop in visits and taking care of them during the weekends I have 2 dogs and a cat myself, so I have experience taking care of pets and keeping them safe. However, I will make sure to always go with what you are comfortable with.
“Relocating from Los Angeles to Tyler for my residency at UT Tyler was stressful, and I was especially worried about leaving my fur babies, Luna P and Washington, with a sitter during the holidays for a whole week. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Raul. He kept me updated throughout the week with pictures and thoughtful texts, even asking for specific details to ensure he was meeting my pets' needs. Raul was on top of everything, and it was clear he truly cared about my bbs. Washington, who is very shy and nervous around strangers, warmed up to Raul by day three and was even playing with him! Knowing my pets were in such good hands allowed me to fully enjoy my time with family, without any worries. I highly recommend Raul. He is trustworthy, responsible, and reliable—qualities I truly appreciated during such a busy and stressful time.”

“So he helped me and he's a home. I mean he's great. I am traveling and he helped me when my roommates are busy doing other things. I like how he is respectful, responsible and takes good care of my cat. He communicated any issues and all things I need to know. Including how he is (my cat) and what he's doing. Professional and gets the job done”

“Hannah was very kind to both my pets, I have an elderly dog that required a lot of attention and care and she was happy to do everything I asked of her. She did a wonderful job and I would recommend her to anyone that wants to leave home and know their pets will be safe while they are gone.”
“Ashlyn was a great pet sitter that catered to my request and specifications of taking care of my cat. She communicated throughout the whole session.Would definitely recommend using her again in the future.”

“Gladis was amazing! She worked very well with our dogs, making sure they were fed and walked on time. She also was very good with communication and followed all of our instructions perfectly. I look forward to booking Gladis again!”

Julie was great! We were going out of town for a long weekend and could not take our dogs. We have a doggie door, but I needed someone to drop in each day to feed, water, play, and just make sure they were ok. Julie arrived on time, sent pictures, and gave me little updates that eased my mind each day. I would highly recommend Julie!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
