About: I’ve had all kinds of animals and breeds ranging from snakes to huskies and pitbulls. I also worked at the local Petsmart for a short time. I am a stay at home fur mom always looking to help others. I have 5 cats and 2 dogs (husky and German Shepard/American bulldog) myself. I live on a 2 acre property with tons of space, tons of toys and lots of time to take care of and play with the animals. I enjoy learning their personalities and engaging with them.
“Farrin was wonderful with our two dogs and cat. They took to her right away! She was on time, followed our instructions, sent daily messages, and left the house in good and clean condition. Highly recommend!”

“Once again, Makaylah was an awesome pet sitter for our dog and cat. She made sure she followed their daily routine and always communicated with us with updates and photos. We were able to relax on our trip knowing they were well cared for.”

About: Animals definitely perceive my positive attitude, and people do too. I genuinely love making cats and dogs happy. I often talk to any animal quite a bit because I believe a calm tone of voice is good for them psychologically. Additionally, I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout the years, working in kennel facilities and through ownership, and I understand what is required to keep them happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule, with much time to ensure your pets get the exercise he or she needs, and the attention they deserve. They won't be lonely while you're away! Additionally, I can administer any medications necessary and follow any special dietary restrictions. Your cats and dogs are in good hands with me! I center taking care of my own animals around my daily schedule. I do my best to keep their regular feeding times ,and for my dogs walking times at expected hours. It can be difficult, but it wouldn't be fair for them to not know what to expect. So ultimately, I adjust my required needs around their schedule in terms of errands, and etcetera. I care for pets in a way they are accustomed to; meaning regular schedules for feeding, walks and/or medication. If they are staying in my home, I would try to provide the most comfortable accommodations as possible while awaiting their people. But in a client's home, I would just coddle the pet, give them comfort, and again - keep them on the schedule they are accustomed to.
“Brenna was a wonderful pet sitter to our dog, Rocky over the weekend! She kept me up to date on how he was doing and sent me plenty of pictures and videos of him having a wonderful time! I knew Rocky was safe and being taken care of while in Brenna's care and I truly I appreciate that. Thanks again!!!”

“Megan was spectacular, stepping in with very short notice to dog sit my puppy for a week when my original sitter canceled a few days before I left. She took very good care of my dog a provided some very cute photos of the fun they were having”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for over 7 years, and it’s something I genuinely love. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra care and attention. I treat every pet like family and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care is a regular and rewarding part of my weekly routine. I’m calm, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s needs making sure they get the right balance of exercise, playtime, and rest throughout the day. Pets stay in a clean, cozy, and pet-friendly space with plenty of room to relax or play, including a fully fenced yard where they can safely explore and enjoy the outdoors. There’s always someone home even if I need to step out briefly, my mom grandma or my boyfriend, who are both equally experienced and caring with pets, are always around to help. I usually introduce them during meet and greets so everyone feels comfortable and at ease
“Scott and Sarah were fantastic. I really appreciated their level of communication, care, state in which they left my home. They pay attention to the details. Every picture I received of my dogs, it looked like they were smiling ear to ear and have the best days. So cute.”

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of caring for and working with all kinds of species, giving me a deep understanding of animal behavior, individual needs, and the importance of patience, compassion, and trust. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every animal in my care as an individual and take pride in providing dependable, attentive, and loving care. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pets and give them the same care and attention I would want for my own! I work from home with a flexible part-time schedule, giving me plenty of time and availability to provide attentive care and drop-in visits for your pets. Since I have pets of my own, I primarily focus on drop-in visits. However, I’m always happy to discuss other options to find the best arrangement for you and your pets.

“Emily was so nice and so easy to work with. She took care of my 17-year-old kitty Winter for 5 days, and did an excellent job. She was very responsive to any texts or emails, and she sent me great pictures of Winter. I give her the highest recommendation!”

I will keep you updated with pictures and videos and your pets are in exceptional care. I have an open schedule to cover their needs and care while I’m on duty and they become my family for the time they are with me. I’ve been taking care of cats and dogs for over 15 years typically small and medium sized dogs. I do have experience with some larger breeds on basic essential needs and care. I went through a battle of IVDD with my French Bulldog who passed which took a role on how I view the time with animals in general. I have an open schedule and extremely accommodating to your needs. I can work around the necessary schedule. I work this full time and if I don’t have any sitting I also run deliveries. I have a safe and trusted environment. I have one dog who gets along with other dogs but he is hyper and wants to play and nap consistently. I have a cat who does her own thing so my house is relaxed. No little kids and just me and my partner which she works from home so there’s always someone at home.
“Ananda did an amazing job with my little pack! Including my blind, senior girl who needs extra TLC. I never worried about them, as she would check in and send pictures—-which was great as I was out of the country. We will definitely have Ananda visit again on my next trip away from my furkids!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs and cats from all walks of life and at all stages of life for the last twelve years! I am currently working part-time, so am flexible with scheduling for both weekdays and weekends during the day and evenings, as well! I am also available for overnight sitting. In my experience, each doggo and kitty has their own needs, which help them flourish best, so I abide by each fur baby’s routine and comfort level!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Twymans Mill walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Twymans Mill maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Twymans Mill choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks.
