“This is my first time using Rover for pet care. I'm so happy with Chyna and her excellent care for my 4 dogs. Communication, Pictures, Punctual, TLC... she did it all! Will definitely continue to contact Chyna when we need to be away.”

“Melissa was fantastic. She came by for a meet and great to get all the instructions of our animals who are a little "exta". My dog loved her. He was texting me our whole trip how nice Melissa was. High suggested !”

“We’re so grateful for the great care our cats received! She made sure they always had fresh food and water and kept an eye on everything while we were away. Our cats are pretty shy and tend to hide, but it gave us peace of mind knowing they were being checked on. We really appreciated her help and would happily recommend her!”

About: Hello! I've been taking care of pets every since my professors at my university trusted me to dog-sit in their homes. I've always had a love of animals. As a child I spent most of my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter by walking dogs to give them a break and fresh air or training them to help them be more likely to be adopted. As an adult I've worked as a zookeeper (my all-time favorite animal to care for are probably lemurs) and as a high school biology teacher. I've normally utilized word of mouth to grow my pet-sitting business, but since I've recently moved to a smaller town, I decided to test out Rover. I can't wait to meet your pet :) I work from home now so I have an ample amount of time to snuggle, play, and walk your pet! I am currently working from home, which means I can spend ample amounts of time with your pet. Just let me know what you would like to have done and I'm happy to accommodate. Generally I enjoy house-sitting/pet-sitting because it allows your pet to stay in a place that feels comfortable to them. I have my own dog and cat, so if I end up taking care of your pet at my house, we will do a meet and greet ahead of time with the pets to make sure everyone gets along ok.
About: I helped care for the pets in my home starting as a young child. I would walk, feed and play with my pets as well as potty training. I also spent one year working for a dog walking/pet sitting service before my children were born. Now that my children are older, I would love to care for other pets in their home and provide walks for dogs while their parents are away. I have pets and children in my home and am available for dog walking/drop in care most mornings and early afternoons during the week. I can also provide house sitting on weekday and weekend nights. I am happy to provide feeding, play, exercise, pottying, and overnight company to pets when their parents are away. Litter box cleaning and other light house cleaning can be provided as well.
“Kenze was absolutely amazing with our puppers! She spent quality time with her, and sent us lots of photos while we were out of town! Will definitely be using her again for upcoming trips! Couldn’t have gone better!”
“Karlee did a wonderful job with our energetic puppy Scout! She went above and beyond what I expected for the 1 hour drop in. Scout looked to have fun playing with his ball outside and some toys inside”

About: Hi, you can call me Lolo. I am a big lover of dogs and had a small dog growing up. I have been walking dogs since the summer of 2021. I have experience with walking medium sized and smaller dogs, but I am open to any size and type of breeds. I even have experience watching cats and had birds growing up as a child. I am currently a stay at home mom which gives me more flexibility and choosing to do what I love the most, which is spending time with and taking of dogs! I am very responsible, attentive, and outgoing which are all some qualities I think are very important when it comes to taking care of dogs. I am looking forward to meeting you and your sweet dog(s)! I am a stay at home mom and have a lot of downtime to spend some time with your dogs. Pet care is a job for me and my schedule is very flexible! I have crate training experience. My neighborhood is very safe and I live in a house with a lot of trees and woods so the dogs can run around. There are not too many dogs around, so you won’t have to worry about other dogs!
“Bethany was great ant accommodating all my needs and requests. My normally shy cat made a great connection and enjoying everytime she came over. Would 100% recommend Bethany to anyone with pet sitting needs.”

“Anne was wonderful with my cat, Lia. My cat seemed to enjoy the visits and extra attention. Anne was also great with communication and sending photos of what Lia was up to. Will definitely reach out to Anne in the future when needed!”

About: I owned a dog for over a decade, and babysat dogs/ cats many times. I worked with animals at a zoo so I’m good at reading them and respecting their boundaries! I work second shift (3-11pm) M-F so check ins would work best for those days. I can still dog/cat sit during the weekdays if you’re are okay with your pets being alone for a full shift, or being watched by my parents (while pets are boarded at our house). My weekends are completely open! I have a large backyard and tennis court. I also live near a very nice bike trail for long walks. I have no other animals in the house. I have ramps for small/old dogs.

“Our normally well-behaved dogs decided to ransack their room while we were gone for an afternoon. Upon her arrival at our house, not only did Amanda straighten up their mess but she also fed them, spent plenty of time with them outside, sent me pics of her visit, and even left them treats for Christmas. Would highly recommend Amanda to anyone seeking a reliable, trustworthy pet sitter who goes the extra mile for her clients.”

About: I am training my own dog as a psychiatric service animal and have learned much going through this process. I am not a licensed trainer, but I do have experience in that area, which I enthusiastically bring to each walk. I'm flexible with scheduling and do my best to make things as simple and convenient as possible even if that means scheduling outside of my availability schedule when possible. Additionally, if I have any upcoming dates that I am unavailable this will be communicated well in advance. Availability schedule: Monday= 8am-10am Tuesday= 8am-6pm Wednesday= 8am-6pm Thursdays= 8am-11am (craft fair season), 8am-6pm (rest of year) F= 8am-10am Sat= 2pm-6pm (craft fair season), 8am-6pm (rest of year) My general motto is always leave the space looking better upon leaving then when you first arrived. This applies to animals too. Always leave a pet happier, more content, calmer, etc. after being with them. Have multiple pets? No problem. The more the merrier.
About: I have grown up with several felines and canines my entire life. I have been responsible for their care for several years, including several animals in their older years. I possess a quite relaxed personality, which is beneficially picked up by most animals. I am also capable of providing necessary exercise for animals of an increased energetic disposition. Dog walks can be taken at a leisurely pace, or one more accelerated, depending on dog's needs. I am looking to supplement my current income, as well as enjoy the company of more cats and dogs. My current job offers flexible hours, so I am available most hours during the afternoon to night for necessary care needs (walks, feeding, letting out,vet appointments). I look forward to satisfying your pets needs.
“Veronica was great! She kept me updated the whole time and sent so many pictures. This was my first time using rover and she made it so easy. Definitely will use her again in the future.”

“Shelby is great! Second booking, just as nice of an experience. We were able to relax and enjoy time with the family, knowing we have a reliable person to take care of our pups, and we didn't have to rush back home, as we usually do. She has a special place in heart for animals and it shows.”

“Brittany did a fantastic job with my crew of 4 dogs!! They loved her. She gave updates after each visit and was very quick on her response. I will absolutely reach out to her again to care for my fur babies. Thank you Brittany!!!”

About: I am specialized in training all types of dogs! I make sure that the dog is taken care of and is having a blast while the parents are gone! I am very outgoing, active, and good at communicating. I currently work part time as a server so I am available whenever just may have to step away for a couple hours to waitress. I have tons of grass area at my house, and have a ton of room as well for the dog to move around and play when needed!
