Generally I enjoy house-sitting/pet-sitting because it allows your pet to stay in a place that feels comfortable to them. I have my own dog and cat, so if I end up taking care of your pet at my house, we will do a meet and greet ahead of time with the pets to make sure everyone gets along ok.

Hello! I've been taking care of pets every since my professors at my university trusted me to dog-sit in their homes. I've always had a love of animals. As a child I spent most of my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter by walking dogs to give them a break and fresh air or training them to help them be more likely to be adopted. As an adult I've worked as a zookeeper (my all-time favorite animal to care for are probably lemurs) and as a high school biology teacher. I've normally utilized word of mouth to grow my pet-sitting business, but since I've recently moved to a smaller town, I decided to test out Rover. I can't wait to meet your pet :) I work from home now so I have an ample amount of time to snuggle, play, and walk your pet!

Amazing! Everything we were hoping for as we went through a stressful life change. Provided us with a peace of mind knowing that our home and our animals were being taken care of and were safe. We asked Haley to watch our boys over a long weekend, and she was fantastic! She was very communicative and sent regular updates with pictures and videos of all our dogs and cats. When one of our cats did a very “cat thing” and knocked a potted plant off the windowsill (we definitely should have known better!), she even cleaned up the mess and repotted the plant for us. As a bonus, she was more than willing to put up with one of our dog’s… him-ness. We would absolutely love to have Haley watch our crew again next time we go away and highly recommend her!
