I'm so excited to meet your pet! :)
Hello! I've been taking care of pets every since my professors at my university trusted me to dog-sit in their homes. I've always had a love of animals. As a child I spent most of my free time volunteering at my local animal shelter by walking dogs to give them a break and fresh air or training them to help them be more likely to be adopted. As an adult I've worked as a zookeeper (my all-time favorite animal to care for are probably lemurs) and as a high school biology teacher. I've normally utilized word of mouth to grow my pet-sitting business, but since I've recently moved to a smaller town, I decided to test out Rover. I can't wait to meet your pet :) I work from home now so I have an ample amount of time to snuggle, play, and walk your pet!

Generally I enjoy house-sitting/pet-sitting because it allows your pet to stay in a place that feels comfortable to them. I have my own dog and cat, so if I end up taking care of your pet at my house, we will do a meet and greet ahead of time with the pets to make sure everyone gets along ok.

Haley did a last minute booking for me and was super patient with a dog she’s never met before. I appreciated this so much! My dog Katie seemed super happy near the end of the visit and I’m a happy owner as my dog was able to get fed and walked on her normal schedule. I would for sure book with her again.
Amazing! Everything we were hoping for as we went through a stressful life change. Provided us with a peace of mind knowing that our home and our animals were being taken care of and were safe. Will definitely be the first person we think of when/if we need help again, a great person to have in your village!

We asked Haley to watch our boys over a long weekend, and she was fantastic! She was very communicative and sent regular updates with pictures and videos of all our dogs and cats. When one of our cats did a very “cat thing” and knocked a potted plant off the windowsill (we definitely should have known better!), she even cleaned up the mess and repotted the plant for us. As a bonus, she was more than willing to put up with one of our dog’s… him-ness. We would absolutely love to have Haley watch our crew again next time we go away and highly recommend her!
